As another was struck down, the remaining crystal ponies started to look nervous. One made a desperate blow in response to seeing their comrade fall.

Sky Wolf narrowed his eyes as he saw the invisible ponies, feeling like he should follow them to find out what was going on... as well as why they where pantomiming the battle. As it was, he couldn't move away from the battle for too long, and giving himself away wouldn't be the best idea... so he used his healing magic, once again restoring Silver Night's health, while giving Diamond another surge of energy, all as his eyes stayed on the invisible ponies as much as possible, trying to figure out what was happening.

Sky Wolf noticed that the ponies making motions with their hooves weren't particularly paying attention to the fight. Rather, they seemed more concerned with the air around them. Meanwhile, one of the crystal ponies in the battle seemed to have regained vigor.

Diamond Dust again felt the sudden buzz of Sky Wolf's power, and feeling energized, lashed out twice against the ponies.

With the barrage not making headway with Silver Night and taking more damage, attention shifted Diamond Dust as one of the crystal ponies lashed out.

Diamond Dust smiled a little, even if that did hurt. If these ponies were hurting him, they weren't hurting Silver. He lashed back a the pony who hit him

With Diamond Dust's retaliatory blow, the crystal ponies faded from sight as the cave grew quiet and still...

"I wonder what has become of the other paintings. I hope they are protected but who knows what has happened for the time that has passed. Alas, if only I had all of my memories rather than just some of them."

Sky Wolf frowned as the invisible ponies vanished from even his view, while those taking part in the fight had simply... stopped. Either they knew they could no longer win the fight... or the fight had another purpose.

Silver warily watched as the crystal ponies just... stopped. He turned his head to answer Dust. "Nothing wrong with me a bit of time won't fix. I'll be feeling a few of these bruises in the morning, but I'll live. That fight really could've gone better though. Once again, it's only thanks to Wolf that I'm still living among the ambulatory, right now."

The paintings are all one way but they should have a corresponding painting near the destination. All except that one. It was always purely for escaping the castle in an emergency. You're a healthy mare. It's not like it's that far."

Upon careful inspection, Ancient Record found the indentations in the pedestal familiar. And then it hit him. The shape matched that of the figurines from the smuggling bust earlier in the day in Manehattan.

As far as Diamond Dust could tell, they were alone as the cave was now eerily silent.

Sky Wolf frowned as he stepped forwards, calling out to his friends. "Some of them where invisible while your fought, but I've lost track of them of those ones now. Also, two of them where playing a similar roll to me in that battle, only you guys managed to hit them harder than they could heal." After saying this, Sky Wolf looked around again, noting the out-cold crystal ponies and turned back to the unicorns.

"Still, we do have some prisoners it seems, so this wasn't a waste a time. Despite the fact that me going ahead was nearly entirely pointless."

"That all depends on if Ancient Record triggers the mechanism. While it does move back on its own after an hour, I'll be very disappointed in you if it takes you a whole hour to walk a mile. Unless you simply wanted to talk during this time."

Diamond Dust heard what Sky Wolf was saying, but mostly focused on the part about prisoners. "Prisoners? Where? What should we do with them, tie them up?" Dust began going through the bag Steel Lance had given them, wondering if he had given them rope.

Searching through the satchel, Diamond Dust managed to find a scroll for emergency contact, the lightly enchanted matchbook that went with it, nuts and dried berries, packets for water purification, a small first aid kit, two sets of hoofcuffs, a horn dampener for unicorns, a blanket, and five feet of rope.

"You did knock some of them out during the fight, so you haven't been a total hindrance to this little mission." Sky Wolf said, gesturing to the unconcious Crystal Ponies, his tone was still calm and neutral, despite his rather... harsh words.

Diamond Dust mentally groaned. Of course they'd start stirring now, when they weren't ready to deal with them. This time trying to be more careful about noise, he simply said "Wait a minute..." and lifted the crystal pony up into the air slowly.

"Best restrain them quickly." Sky Wolf said as the pony began to stir, through he did notice Diamond Dust levitating the cyrtal pony up into the air, and had to admit. "That will make it easier through."

Dust nodded, but didn't answer, instead focusing on pulling out the hoof cuffs telekinetically,and securing the pony. He still held the pony up in the air for the moment, waiting to see what he or she would do next.
