The theories are plausible, but thanks to the twins' insight, Maverick realizes that, if Bomba were magnetized, the magnet would be going for his face, not his chest. While Maverick isn't an expert on possession, he does remember that when Bell Mare and Rhinestone briefly shared a body, the signs were quite obvious and quite destructive, and he has no evidence that a ghost could subtly possess a pony.

"What "magnetizing" mean?" asked Tsar Bomba.

When Rhinestone noticed what was happening, she moved over to Tsar. "Hold on, there's a...Tsar, do you have a pacemaker? Uh...." she considered how to communicate the idea to him before pointing at the machinery and thumping her hoof against her chest twice.

When he gulped down the candy and the magnet was pulled closer, Rhinestone nearly went cross eyed with confusion. "What the hell is in that candy? Lodestones?"

Chronos comes forward, close to the twins.

"Sorry to interrupt, but what's are we doing at the minute?" he interjected, trying to get the twins' (and everypony else's) attention. "Are the ghosts gone?"

Tsar Bomba certainly doesn't have any wounds that would make him look like a corpse. However, he is covered in black powder which does smell absolutely terrible, and one of his eyes is lazy, so if he is a corpse, he's a fresh one who died from natural causes. Given the suspicion that he might be a ghost, however, natural causes seem like an unlikely cause of death, so maybe his body just isn't showing what his cause of death was.

The winder moves in the opposite direction, unwinding the spool of golden thread and hurling something out - something that, once it hits the floor and skids to a stop, proves to be a key.

"Maybe not the best time to bring that up..." mentioned Chronos, before looking quite awkward at Hallows' sniffing.

I have no idea why and how I forgot this

Hallows looks at him quizzically, while Gallows walks back over to Rhinestone. In a manner very similar to his sister, he sniffs around her, and then looks at her, just waiting.
