Silent Fractures

Wormwood is a little slow to react, mind still reeling from Bleeding Heart's words. Still, he rises to his hooves and gallops after her... though his broken heart weighs him down.

"I would, but the fracture seems to be effecting higher powerd magic. Henc Cold's masks, which I'm still not quite sure what happened. I could bring her back but I could just as easily turn her inside out."

Heart heard Iron call out, but didn't care. She didn't hear Reini, she didn't see Wormwood chasing her, all that there was was away from here. She closes her eyes and just keeps running.

(Heart goes right over the cliff and wormwood follows)

Gachile lookes down at 72, who nodds. Orange fire whips around him making him look like a male version of the Queen. Their wings buzz and they rocket toward and over the cliff edge. Closing in on the two falling ponies, Gachile grabs Wormwood and 72 snaggs Heart. They carry the two ponies back up to the group and lightly deposit them on the ground.

Suddenly, there's no ground beneath Heart's hooves. She opens her eyes- and then immediately shuts them again as she screams and begins to plummet. This way she only has to hear her impeding death....

Buzzing? Something grabs her. Something pulls her back up, away from death. Something saves her. Oh please no please no please not that please....

After a moment she's back on solid ground. She whimpers. Her stomach churns. She doesn't want to know what carried her. She doesn't want to open her eyes, and face them. Face him. She can't open her eyes, and so just let's out a weak, "I'm sorry..."

Wormwood really didn't mean to go over that cliff.

With that established, Wormwood is now in safe hooves, being rescued by the Queen herself. He looks around himself, finding himself back at camp... with Bleeding Heart safe and sound. At least, in body. He wanted to go over to comfort her, but he didn't know how she'd react... why had she reacted the way she had?

"Can I change back now, I really don't like this form."

Gachile eyed him, "No. Stay like that for a while, incase there are any more... Accidents." she said with a sly smile

Celestia stood over wormwood and Luna over Heart. "Are you two all right?" Luna asked ignoring the fact that heart had run off the cliff in a state of emotional distress.

As Cold Iron wore the Logic Mask... His gender shifted from male... To female...

Upon hearing Luna's voice, Heart opens her eyes again. It seems recently she hasn't gone more than a few minutes without crying, and once again there are tears there. "I'm ok, Princess Luna." She gives a little half bow, interrupted by a sob that she quickly tries to get under control. Stop crying, it isn't gonna help, it won't solve anything.

"I'm all right as well, Your Highness," Wormwood replied. He looked over at Bleeding Heart, then to Celestia, as if asking what he should do. He then turned to Bleeding Heart again. "Bleeding, I... I'm sorry."

Heart still can't look at him, but she responds to Wormwood after a moment. "Did you.. did you jump off that cliff after me?"

Wormwood blushed a little. "Y-yeah... I meant to go down a little more gracefully, but I did go after you."

Wormwood frowns. "I said I'd stay by your side... and I still intend to keep that promise."

Wormwood raises an eyebrow. "I thought you said... never mind." He sighed. "Who are you talking about? And... I don't know how to prove that I do care, if following you off a cliff doesn't do it."

Wormwood stares at her for a long moment, then rises to his feet. "Would you like me to say different things?"
