“Quite.” Ferrum says, who apparently has been standing next to Mask. “The police are en-route, by the way. Perhaps you should advise your teammates to… evacuate the premises. Before the poor officers are forced to have to try and unmask them.”
He looks over the scene of the fight with a critical eye. “That’ll probably be… 80% of the budget gone to reparations. And compensating the poor pegasus for his car. That should leave enough for refurnishing that headquarters you’ve found yourself.”
“Although, you did manage to put a stop to this particular attack.” Ferrum nods, seemingly satisfied. “That should be a good first operation to impress the board with.”

Madame Mask looks down and notices the lack of ground and abundance of air that Ferrum is standing on. "Oh, monsieur Ferrum, you really know how to win over a lady." But she doesn't waste any time, she turns to the group and sends a telepathic message to the other heroes that Ferrum hired. "That's enough socialising for now, darlings," messages Madame Mask, "The show is over, and officers are on their way. If you don't want to be unmasked, I suggest exit stage left." And with that, Madame Mask floats away from the scene and dismisses her decoy. She looks back at Ferrum and sends another message, "Oh, one more thing, the elemental locusts weren't the only thing here. There was a beast of some sort fighting it as well."

Quick Note scratches the back of his head. "Ehh… I live alone, actually…"
Trapshot was about to say something, then she got Mask's message.
"That's okay," she says. "I think we need to get, anyhow. Tell ya what I'll do, though..."
Quick Note's cell phone slips out of his pocket and hovers in the air in front of him. Trapshot poses with a foreleg across his shoulders, lines up the phone so that she and Quick Note were both in the frame, and takes a selfie. Then adds a cell number as a new contact with the new selfie as the profile image.
Then she passes the phone back to him. "There ya go. If ya get any more trouble here at the bank, now you got me on speed dial. Good knowin' ya, Quick."
With that, she gulps the last of her coffee, and calls "Pack up, y'all! We're movin' out!" and starts for the truck.

After a moment, she holds up a hoof, "What? You do know there are more Locust swarms out there, right? You want to protect your territory- city- and I want Locust hunted down. We should cooperate - hunting is always more efficient in a pack."

Inu does her best to look at trapshot, and while turning into a dog again, she tigves her the saddest look a timberwolf turning into a dog can manage but does fully turn back, before hangign her head out the window again

As the radio crackles to life, Daff's eyes grow wide.
"We did it!" he cheers, bouncing around absurdly while Rousseau holds onto his mane tightly. Daff gallops over to give the nearest ponies - Dove Colt, Zellbriq, and Crimson - a massive hug. "We're on the news! Rousseau, did you hear that?! We're finally on the news!"
His mood seems to only improve from Gaia saying the group seems competent.
"It's just Daff, though. I don't like my full name," he corrects Trapshot. "It's too hard to spell."
At the telepathic message from Madame Mask, Daff looks up at Rousseau, once again looking baffled at the squirrel's sudden change in voice. Sadly, he loses the race for the covetted shotgun seat as a result. Instead, he finds a place in the back of the truck, causing the whole truck to lean at a slight angle as he plants his forehooves on the edge of the truck and looks back to the others gathering for their exit. He brightens visibly as Gaia makes her announcement.
"You're coming with us? T-That's great!" he says, hesitating before moving to one side of the back of the pickup truck to provide more room. "She's coming with us!" he whispers to Rousseau.

Gaia smiles at Daff's enthusiasm at succeeding, and nods in thanks when he offers her a seat. Stepping onto the truck, she nestles into the open space in a distinctly animal-like motion. "Comfy," she comments, "If a little cramped. Not used to someone else being my size."

Instead of summoning a thunderbird to carry him, this time Dove Colt simply hops onto the back of the truck, looking up in awe at Gaia. "You're really tall..." He says, in a small voice.

"Uh, me neither. Not used to large - same size - Err, I mean… Would you like to pet Rousseau? I think he likes you," he says suddenly, holding out the squirrel before just as quickly trying to turn his attention to something else. Dove Colt to the rescue.
"That's only because you're so tiny for someone so powerful! All those birds! Squack! Bite! Pfffoooooth!!" His bad onomatopoeias are accompanied by hoof gestures as he reenacts part of the battle, which includes little poking motions that is no doubt supposed to be the bird poop bombardment. ”I think that guy’s going to have your hoofprint in its backside for a long time after that!”

With how much power she smelled on the squirrel she's not sure if her natural aura will have effect on it, but nonetheless, Gaia smiles and reaches out a hoof at Rousseau.

After a short drive the truck slowly rumbles to a stop in front of the warehouse. Going in, a quick inspection reveals that unlike before, where natural light was the only light source, there’s now a row of lights casting a warm yellow glow in the warehouse. The hole in the wall has been fixed up as well, and the loot from the crates unpacked and sorted. A large noticeboard has been set up on the back wall, and tacked onto it is an envelope addressed to the party.
The contents of the envelope include a short hand-written note and a official looking report.
“Dear Superheroes (you need a name),
Congratulations on the first successful operation! I took the liberty to get some of the tech team to help fix up your hideout, and reconnect the utilities. Take a break - you earned it.
P.S. Here’s a copy of the Afteraction report Ferrum filed, if you’re interested.

As Madame Mask flew to the warehouse, she was ahead of everyone, sorting through stuff while looking for the playing cards from earlier. As the party finishes reading the letter, she finally notices them and trots towards them. "Ah, you have returned darlings. I was starting to think you we still stuck in conversation." She then notices the extra. "Oh, and you have brought guests. Well, bonjour madamemoiselle-" Madame Mask swings a hoof around the newcomer's neck in a friendly manner and uses another hoof to point towards the exit, "-and au revoir."

Robyn takes the report as the group reads the letter, and proceeds to read it. Meanwhile, her hat, mask, and shotgun slide off her body and find their place with her saddlebag, now leaning against the wall in the corner of the warehouse with the dinky chair.

Daff produces something like a rather unstallion-like squeak and spends the rest of the trip back apparently deciding that the floor of the truck is spectacularly interesting while Rousseau shrugs at Gaia, then decides to go to sleep again while the struggling vehicle carries them back.
Upon their return, Daff jumps out of the truck the instant it stops, looking surprised at the improvements that seem to have happened all on their own while they were gone. He enjoys the report, if only because it has all their names in it and it looks really official.
While Rousseau scampers over to sit on dinky chair, Daff nods to Gaia.
"Yeah! She's always talking in Fancy. I don't understand any of it, and Rousseau doesn't like translating," he explains, missing the Gaia's meaning entirely.
Upon their return, Daff jumps out of the truck the instant it stops, looking surprised at the improvements that seem to have happened all on their own while they were gone. He enjoys the report, if only because it has all their names in it and it looks really official.

The offer of medicine that would assist with his burning throat was a greatly tempting one. Despite Crimson's natural distrust of taking random veils from someone he had just met, personal expertise had taught him that his throat would be raw and his voice greatly diminished because of it for at least two days because of his experiments with being able to breath fire.
Accepting the veil and drinking it, Crimson offered the mare a nod in thanks before he was randomly hugged by Daff in celebration for their success. Smiling a little at his enthusiasm, Crimson silently got on the back of try truck for their ride back to base.
After arriving back at their restored base (having a tech team was nice... Even if it meant their bosses knew where they were now), Crimson was silent in order to rest his voice as he joined Robyn in reading the full report if only to get an idea of what they puppet masters valued by reading over her shoulder. Unlike his teammate, he was keeping the mask and costume on for now; Gaia was an unknown factor after all.

In Río Caballo County, where I'm from, she's a modern legend for taking down the corrupt system. The kind that gets memorialized in statues, books, folk tales, and art. So I decided to let Trapshot be their local legend, and start fresh here in the city as Sunset Raider."

When Robyn reads out "The Wolfpack and Pet" Zellbriq gets a confused and irritated look on hsi face and says. [color:9edf="42cf00"] How can it be a pack and a pet? either they use the name as intended for me and Inu or they find something else to call me, but one wolf isn't a pack. During this short rant, Zellbriq catches a clock in his vision, sees how late it is, gets a panic look on his face and says Well gotta run turn in this essay on hydras, be back soonish, talk to Inu if you need anything from me. and with that the Zebra turns to run out the door.
Inu meanwhile found a nice blanked, laid down on top of it and watches what the group is doing.
