Scroll laughed quietly. "Well, we certainty are a motley bunch..." He looked up at the unicorn.

"You have asked most of us to introduce ourselves. Beg pardon, but who are you?"

"Yes, who are you, my little pony, who would dare insult Ersa the Lunar Phoenix by dubbing her a mere cloud?" Ersa said leaning towards the clockworked pony as she narrowed her eyes.

((The big bolded name is a sound/screen effect, not her intentionally saying her name loudly. =P

@7/9 how could she be damp? She's a phoenix. Wispy might have been more appropriate, though I don't think anyone else would pick up on that since she's in her "normal" form.))

Klaue wasn't able to tell much at about where they were, other then the fact that there were wards active around on the cell the group was trapped in, they seemed to be Monster-Related... And Klaue did easily hear what the Blue Unicorn in a Fez had claimed the griffon was. Also the fresh battle scars all over the Clockwork Mage's body were something everyone could easily notice.

The Clockwork Mage chuckles at Ersa's outburst. He's been yelled like that by worse things in his lifetime...

"Yeah, that's for sure..." The Unicorn commented agreeing with the ghost. "And really, the, Fez, eye, and hoof didn't tip you all off?" The Unicorn asked then states. "I'm the one and only, Clockwork Mage. Baron of Ponyville... And the pony that stopped your little attack on my town with my Lightning Hoof, and other gizmos. Right now, I'm trying mostly to find out anything you lot know about your own attack. Please, the more you tell me... The better I can help you all from. But if you don't know anything... All you can tell me, might be helpful too."

Ersa ignored his derisive little chuckle except to note that he clearly had no idea who she was. "I do not remember attacking any towns or anything past waking up from my long slumber, though I can imagine reasons why I would attack Ponyville little Baron. I highly doubt it would be my first act upon awaking without good reason though. Or without being this thing known as 'intoxicated' I have yet to experience to my knowledge. How long will you detain me before I can deal with more pressing matters?"

As an afterthought she added, "Oh, and what year is it?"

No need to hide the fact that she was a monster hunter, that probably was obvious.

Ersa spots the minotaur for the first time ((she "saw" everyone earlier but, didn't really pay any attention)) and exclaims, "Oh my, what is this creature? It is quite cute!" She then pokes at Ivana's horns with one of her wings, curiously.

((No worries 7/9, also...I figured this would make an amusing party dynamic. And I did find that sprite really adorable.))

"Well, Ms. Hunter, as you attacked you kept declaring everyone and everything were vampires..." The Clockwork Mage comments then turns to the Lunar Phoenix. "I'll detain you as long as it takes for either the Royal Guards get here for more questions and/or to just outright come here to kill you lot, cause honestly I'm not sure given what little I could say about you all on my report... Or the second wave happens... Cause if my hunch is right, and I surely hope I'm not... I might need you six to help protect this town." Then he laughted a little at said Bird's reaction to meeting a Minotaur.

Ersa laughs at this. "Kill me? Hah. Oh no no little clockeyed one. They may wish to escort me elsewhere, if they are looking to keep their positions that is. You really do have no more clue of who I am than I of you do you? Now what hunch is this and why would I help protect Ponyvile ((intentional misspelling)) of all places? And just look at this, Miss Hunter's you said, face. So cute. And the little horns poking through it's adorable hat and it's upright standing and these....what do you call this garment it's wearing on it's lower portion? Is this a large.....mannequin? No, wrong word. Doll? Is that the right word?"

"Well... Let's just say an odd group like you six attacking, just isn't something I'd think anyone smart would bet solely on..." The Clockwork Mage explains. "And given how different each of you are, and I bet even your backgrounds don't have any sort of link whatsoever... So that'd only add to my paranoia that there'd be a second wave of, something attacking this town... I'd bet my non-clockwork eye on this." And he looks oddly over Ersa... "Let me guess... You're from a good deal in the past..."

Answer questions about something I know nothing about, fight a mystery group that was supposed to be an end-all, or be killed.
Gear sighs as he lays down, setting his head flat against the cold floor.
"None of those options sound particularly inviting."

They might have been, she usually wasn't wrong about these sorts of things.

"You remind me of what I herd Princess Luna was like little after her return..." The Blue Unicorn comments while shaking his head, then turns to Gears. "I know... That's why I was hoping to learn something about you six to have some idea of what happened to you. If I could make a case of mind control or just having you all help counter-act a possible second wave, that'd do a lot to helping me help you."

"I'll help, if you would let me leave and return to my library. I'm almost halfway through the E's. It's only taken... what, a century?"

Gears raises his head. "I'm not exactly a fighter and my memory is uh...is a little patchy, but if it'll help clear my name I'll do what I can."

"Well... Let's just say... If need be, I'll just, 'trigger' one of your black outs..." The Clockwork Mage cryptically replied to Gears, then comments to Scroll. "Now... I don't believe you'll be able to return there, if I assume it's in Canterlot... Given how that place is now..."

Scroll's eyes widened. "What!? What happened to my library?!" He flew to be eye-to-eye with the Mage.

"What happened to Canterlot?" Ersa asked, clearly alarmed.

Gears stands up at this, excited at the chance to gain some information. "Wait! You mean you know about my blackouts? Like, what's causing them and stuff?!"

"Gears, please trust me when I say this... Knowing what triggers your black outs, will only just cause another one..." The Clockwork Mage informs the Robot. "I'll try to figure out something on how to help that issue... But I'm not sure how much help I will be if any. And sadly that's more a long term issue... We've got bigger problems to deal with right now."

Then he turns to answer both Ersa and Scroll, and explains the year being 1100 years after Nightmare Moons banishment. "Nothing has 'happened' to Canterlot, other then it having changed a lot thanks to The Day of Weirdness... Also that place as a major anti-ghost policy in place, only the few that are deemed trustworthy enough are even allowed to be there. Hay, I think your lucky an Exorcist hasn't already banished you to the other side."

Scroll floated to the ground. "And what deems a hoof 'trustworthy'? One hundred years of work, gone in an instant! I suppose they've even reclaimed it!"

Ersa, relieved but now curious asks, "The day of what?"

"I wouldn't know anything about what, Scroll... I only vaguely am aware of how ponyville's views are about the so-called Monster Races... So I wouldn't be able to tell you anything more then I just know for a fact they don't like ghosts, I think something major happened with one of the ghosts taking control of sombody important... Or something... Or that's what I'd guess would have to of happened for that sort of thing." The Clockwork Mage replied with a shurg to Scroll... "The Day of Weirdness... Happened about a Year or so after the Day of Chaos... IE: The day Discord was freed for but a day... Now the Day of Weirdness... I don't know much about everything that happened, just after that day, robots, werewolves/weretimberwolves, vampires, ghosts, and half-clouds just popped up and stuff... Also a good deal of people, myself included, were thrown form that day about a 100 years into the future... And I think there's something about "The First Monsters" but I only know the basics about that event."

Then he shakes his head. "Ok... I've gotten WAY off track here... I'm here to ask you questions. Not the other way around..."
