Ponysona 4, the Campaign.

George- The colt is huddled into your side, shivering and hiccuping, saying "Not again"
Brash and Zeela- You two see a long corridor in front of you. Perception checks please.
Icing: The the others are there and you notice the colt staring at the school building in fear.

Perception: 5 + 12 = 17

Zeela keeps her eyes out for something to use her potion on, at this point she's 100% sure that whatever horrors were attacking the colt, would pop out about now.

perception roll:

"WHAT THE HAY IS GOING ON WHERE ARE WE WHAT IS THIS--"

Readfeather flips out.

The colt cringes from Redfeather's yell and whines, muttering something and trying to explain. "T-this place... I-I can explain it once we're s-safe. He wipes a hoof over his eyes and shakily stands, walking to the school. "W-We need to get to the end of Inaba Elementary." The colt sniffles and, with a shiver, walks over, and gestures Icing, George, and Redfeather to follow him in.

Brash and Zeela look around the school and see quite a few of the black ropes dangling around the corridor, and a small creature at the far end of the hall wandering around, a mask on it's face and looking like a small blob. The colt appears shakily through the portal and stands behind you guys.

Zeela on reflex of seeing well something to blame for the colts's wounds, threw her bomb potion at it... Then she facehooves as the bomb was in midflight. "I shouldn't assume black-shadow things are evil or a threat... Because they're black-shadow thingies... Oh well, think it's a moot point now."

The bomb lands, surprisingly without shattering, and rolls towards the shadow. the masked shadow prods the bomb and then the potion shatters, somehow catching the shadow on fire.

The colt stares at you. "W-wow. You knew that Mayas are weak to fire... o-or was that luck?"

"It was more luck then real planning or know-how... That was more meant to explode on impact. But, I think, maybe, I was trying to make that bomb go off with a big fireball of an explosion, so it half-worked the way I intended I guess... Wait, you know what those thingies are, where they what hurt you before? Please tell us everything, we're better off knowing what we're dealing with." Zeela comments, then tries to get to work making a fire potion for everyone to get a hold of, given that fire is good to help keep them all safe everyone having a potion of fire to throw would be a good idea. "You explain while I go and make some more potions for everypony, that'll hopefully end up with fire like that one did... I'm normally trying to make my potions more harmless then harmful. So yeah... Also, just realized, what's your name, kid?"

Next she spends 15 minutes making said potions, hoping that she'd have that much time.

arcana roll:

"What's a Maya?"
George offers the colt a shoulder to lean on and checks to see just how much worse his injuries have gotten.
Roll [Heal: Have the colt's injuries gotten worse.]

Roll:

"An adventure. We must break through the school, and defeat the alien... Mayas?" Icing grins. This could be fun. But look at the shadow-thing writhe, that can't be healthy for it, being on fire like that. It must hurt, being slowly burnt alive.

Sucks to be a "Maya", he supposed. "We can't tarry that long. Can you make your naphtha on the fly?"

Zeela explains as she worked. "Sometimes I can make a potion in a flash, but you never know for sure what you're going to get with a rush job. Sometimes I get lucky, especially with my normal harmless type of bomb-potions, and those even seem to work for a week or so even after being made, but for potions of fire... That is something harder to pull off on the fly, hay, we're lucky that last one I did any fire at all I'd say."

The colt coughed a little from the fog and smiled as you help him stay up. Other than a few more bruises on his legs, he seems fine. "A Maya is one of the basic "Shadows". We can't spend too much time on this floor." He moves to Zeela and tries to move items back into her bag. ""We have about seven minutes per floor before some big evil shadow starts coming for us, and the Second floor should have the exit. It did last time." The colt shakily looked to the corridor. "But that floor also has Him. Come on." The colt nodded to the rope on the ground. "That's his." He took a deep breath and started walking slowly. Glancing back at Zeela he adds, "Shiro."

Zeela sighs as she puts her items back and the half-finished potion she was working on, in her saddlebags.... "Great... Then we'll just keep to being on the move. And I'll just try to make potions in less then a minute or something when we need some fire."

(OOC: Did she get to finishing at least one potion? In the short near minute she had to work? I know it's unlikely, but need to ask.)

"Well regardless, it's nice to meet you Shiro. Dispite this madness I've gotten wrapped up in..." The Winged Zebra said with a smile to the colt then looks to the rest of the party. "Well... At least only one member of this group I don't like so far, and even than I think he's better then... Then before..." She shutters as she recalls her past adventures in Equestria.

"Aww. Poor little monster guy." Brash says, watching the Maya burn. "Nice ta meet ya Shiro, so I guess, point the way?" Brash says, anxious to see what was next.

"I guess while we're doing it, I'm Icing Sugar." The stallion gives a confident and practiced smile. "I'd say it's nice to meet you all but the circumstances probably prevent that from being 100% honest. However, I will say that it is interesting to meet you all here." A self-deprecating chuckle.

"So we've 7 minutes to run through this area... If you know the route, White, lead us on." Icing considers... He lost his lunch turnip knife. He had his bread one left, as one of the few most odd ponies that wouldn't just eat the bread loaf but cut it properly for himself, but seeing the goop things, he kinda didn't want to ruin it by slicing them. 'Here's hoping we don't run into any other ones.'

"...readfeather..." The hippogriff quivers, staying away from the wall. "Why am I here...."

George double checks the equipment and medicines he has with him.
"George Redcross. Who is waiting on the next floor?"

"I'm Zeela..." The Striped Pegasus comments seeing that everypony else was giving out their names.

"I'm Brash Landing." Brash chimed in and then did a flip on his hoverboard because he was boredand often when he was bored he did board tricks.

Shiro nodded and pointed at the black rope on the ground. "He left that to draw me in. He knows I want to find the way out so he's baiting me." Shiro started walking and motioned for you all to follow him. "He's... scary. That's the best way to describe him." Shiro trotted down the hall with all of you behind him. "He's something creepy that happens to ponies that come in here. I've been in here off and on for about a year and he's always gone after me. I've stumbled out of TVs across all of Neighpon and Equestria but he's pulled me back in whenever I let my guard down." A dark look crosses his face. "O-or I've let myself act my age. Seven and afraid of the world." Shiro takes a deep breath and opens one of the School's doors, a small chest and a Maya there.

"Anypony feeling like trying their luck in fighting that Maya thingie?" Zeela asked, wondering what's in the chest, but guessing that she's not do so well on a one-on-one fight...

"Hmmmm, I don't have any fire on me. The thrusters on my board use force generation and anti-grav magi-tech. I suppose I could see what I've got in my bag but...." He pauses and then addresses Shiro, "Hey kid, how long do you think it will take us to get to the exit if we don't have to fight these Maya things?"

Shiro glances down the hall. "The stairs are right there, but if you don't beat the Maya it might attack from behind us. They're not that strong though. Even if you don't use fire it'll fall after a few hits."
