Miracle Elixir stirs from her cot and rolls out unceremoniously, landing with a faint "thwump" on the floor. Then she gropes around for a bit for a phial of Dr. Miracle's Potent Patented Morning Rescue Reblended Mix (now with Cocoa Flavoring)™*, and- finding one- gulps it down, preparing herself to face the new day of sales.

Then she notices XECA. "Oh yeah. That happened." A pause. "...Good morning?"

Inside one of the robots's weapons modules, a hatch opened, revealing a three-pronged canister that was Then shot with a hiss of high- pressure gas at the leader of the mechanical trio. Upon contact, the prongs snapped shut, anchoring the canister via high-power magnets to the armor of the leader and slowly cutting into it's metal carapace.

At the first light of the sun peaking over the dunes, Golden Spike opens his eyes blearily and yawns. Up at dawn as always, that's the life of a farmer for ya. With sleep still in his eyes, he alights from the cloud he was resting upon, grabbing a bunch of cloud as he does so. The motion causing the rest of the cloud to slowly start drifting away, and he lands upon the sand with his small tuft of cloud and finds his saddlebags that he had left resting against the caravan.

He pauses a moment to take another good look at the strange caravan. It was always fascinating seeing some of the neat machines that brilliant minds had created, it was a novelty he enjoyed. Reaching into his bag, he pulled out some canned pineapple. A drink and meal all in one. He ate in contentment as he examined the vehicle, then he closed his eyes and tried to picture it's blueprints in his mind. He then tried lifted the cloud in his hoof and with steady movements of his wings he began crafting the cloud.

(OOC: Mechanics to make the cloud into a replica model of the caravan. (moving parts and all)

"Hmm, I even got the wheels to spin," he mutters to himself. "I wonder what that strange foreign filly would make of this. Come to think of it I never asked her name did I?"

The second mook also unleashes a blast from a retractable tube underneath his arm and landing in the midst of the group. Everyone takes 8 damage.(The mooks don't have specials, so nothing triggers)

There seems to be some weird huffing coming from the three at that last part. You're fairly certain that got a laugh. However, they look at the building and say.

"PONY. I DOAN FINKZ WE CAN FIT INSIDE. AN R U SURE THAZ SAFE?"

Khaarazite looks at the building, and checks for any structural damage...

The whole thing is leaning to its side, but not by a lot. You think that while it doesn't look good, its probably not coming down anytime soon.

"I think it's just damaged, that's all," Khaarazite replies. However, he doesn't want to put the Emperor's delegates into a situation they wouldn't want to be in. It might cost him his place at the party they may or may not happen. "But, if you don't want to go in," he continues, pointing towards the merchant district, "if you keep going that way you should reach the shops. One of them might be selling the orb, but I think it'll likely be in here, so I'm gonna check it out."

Cloud lets out a small grin as he withdraws a piece of paper and a specific brush from his hoof, and starts to scribble hastily.

The First mook retracts his drill on his left arm, and shoots a stream of liquid at Cloud Brush that promptly bursts into flames.(7 Ongoing damage, Save Ends)

The mook captain's chest cavity opens up and mine fires out of it, attaching to Just Dessert's face and shocking him. He screams in pain! After that the Mook leader grabs the cannister from his armor and manages to rip it right off(He made his save)

Just Desserts is seriously hurting now.(He's bloodied). He draws a shield from his pouch, and charges the second mook with it. The second mook goes "Ooof!" Just Desserts follows up with another attack, bucking the mook again.(He has the 'Seize The Initiative", combat trait.)

Khaarazite enters the town hall, confident that his invitation to the party is in the bag...

STL activated another weapon, a twin-barrelled machine gun built into his casing which began blasting the three machines with hundreds of bullets, tearing up their casings with red-hot tungsten rounds. At the same time, the nanobots introduced to the leader by the dart activated, temporarially shutting down the bot and rendering it helpless while shells tore through it.

From Steelhearts attack, the first mook looks like its slightly dented. Smoke is beginning to pour forth from the Mook Captain.(Bloodied). The second mook armor is severely damaged. The armor open up vertically up the middle, and a diamond dog pops out. He begins to dig into the dirt and soon escapes from sight. Seeing the second mook flee, and his own damage, he along with the first mook drills into the ground, and escapes from sight.

Victory!

"Those were tougher than they looked. Whew."

Inside Town Hall.

Immediately in front Khazaarite is a reception desk, but there's no pony there to receive you. Next to it, is a staircase that goes up to the second floor. To your right, is a small auditorium with a podium, and cushions for the audience. There's no pony here on the first floor.

Khaarazite heads upstairs, to see if there is a room called "Room We Keep Orbs In" or something along those lines. He'll give the whole building a good look around in time, but wants to start at the room most likely to contain the orb...

On the second floor are a number of file cases and bookshelves. Judging from the content of the book shelves, it looks like this also doubles as the town's public library.

"Huh," the Changeling says to himself, not really knowing why he expected a room where the town keeps their orbs. Kharazite looks around at the books and files to see if one reveals the location of the orb...

You find an extemely old newspaper clipping that covered by glass in a case that mentions Master Roti's discovery of something he called the Solar Orb. The date on the article goes back a few hundred years.

Khaarazite is confused by the date of the article, but it's the best lead he's got. He leaves Town Hall and heads back to his master's compound...

After a few minutes, you're back at Master Roti's compound. You go through the gates, you can see inside the house proper. Monkey Tail and Cueball are pretty much turning the house upside down looking for the orb.

Khaarazite goes inside and asks the two if they have seen Master Roti anywhere...

Monkey Tail shrugs as he goes through a dresser. As in literally steps inside of it. He steps out with another gi over his current one. "Hey! Look! I'm a martial artist!"

"Dummy! We're already martial artists!"

"Oh yeah!"

"Haven't seen him since he was here earlier with you."

"Drat. If you do see him, tell him I'm looking for him."

Khaarazite leaves the house and heads towards the residences...

Just Desserts takes a bottle of some sort of brown medicine and rubs it over his injuries, which seem to rapidly heal. He hands some to Cloud Brush.

As Khazaarite enters the residential district, he see an abandoned and smoking battle suit. He also sees Just Desserts hand a both of Senzu brand healing salve to a pegasus. Behind them, sort of robot pony can be seen. Both the pegasus and robot seem injured and damaged respectively.

"Hey Blue Skies! Why you in such a rush?"

"I'm looking for Master Roti. You haven't seen him anywhere, have you?"

Speaking of which, those levels were already low, meaning the robot would need refueling within a day or so, most likely, or power management would become a challenge.
