"Ah, combining host material for a tougher enemy." Necrar says, his shadow splitting and standing again. "These things are much smarter than I thought. Shame we have to destroy it. Again." The shadow shrieks and bites the giant timberwolf's front right paw, leaving the wood rotting.

- On phone so can't post all the detials, so condensed: Used come my brother, Necrar at 3 pips, 30 HP, and 3 tp. Shadow used spook, gtw suffering 2 damage penalty. Shadow at 10 HP, 1 pip.

The rotten claw breaks when the timberwolf makes an attack with the paw, but a second attack knocks the shadow away as the front right paw rebuilds itself...

Storm Blade narrowed his eyes as he judged the situation. This wolf seemed to be able to take quite a beating, considering it didn't even seem all that injured after quite a harsh attack from them all. Everyone was quite fit and healthy, and there was quite a bit of healing going around. Meaning that it was time to really go on the offensive.
Thanks to Splash Control's motivation, and the magic of his armour kicking in, the royal guard was able to conjure his blades of water, wind and lightning. At the same time, he unleashed a shockwave from them, through it passed through the timberwolf harmlessly. Next turn, It was time to fight.

Necrar's shadow begins to swirl, and from the swirl pops a small orb of darkness, just floating in the air."Strike." A bolt of dark lightning streaks from the orb, hitting the timberwolf. "Now go, Sharpe!" With a shriek like before, though somewhat happier, the shadow bites down on one of the paws of the timberwolf.

Aces exhales, dropping his metal arm to the ground with a thunk. "Alirgh'...good job, everypony." He swallowed once, examining his arm.

My good luck streak with heads is starting to get suspicios; not sure I trust the online agent I've been using to flip a virtual coin to not get a Heads result on the first flip. So even though I got "heads" in the interest of balancing things out I got tails.

(If you want, you can roll a d20, and if it is 10 or lower, it's tails, and if it is 11 or higher, it's heads. That's what I do because I can call a good chunk of my coin flips irl...)

Necrar's shadow does the split-n-stand again, and the new shadow pony bites down on the timberwolf, followed by another bolt of dark lightning from the orb. Sharpe grows to the size of the giant timberwolf and places itself between it and the others.

Storm Blade waited a few moments, feeling his energy once more being restored by his armour. He noticed that the best finally appeared to be injured seriously, wish was good. Meant that it wouldn't last too much longer, and didn't seem to be able to do too much damage to them. Easy opponent, through that could change, so best to get this over with as quick as possible.
Storm Blade launched himself forwards, covering the distance in an instant. The first attack was a quick slash, not doing much damage but setting up the next attack, a twin strike that unleashed a shockwave of lighting, wind and water over the timberwolf before Storm Blade quickly jumped away.

Storm Blade grimiced as the splinters painfully sank into his flesh, now just drawing up blood, but also digging deeper when he moved. He pushed this aside however, in order to unleash another combination of attacks at the beast. A small slash, followed by a powerful shockwave.

Another shadow appears beside Necrar, and Sharpe shrinks back down to normal size. With a bolt of lightning following them, the three shadows bite down on the timberwolf's leg.

Aces banged on his arm a bit more, ducking under the destruction of the tree just above his head. "Come on, come on..." he grunted, hoping the timberwolf paw would not come his way again. "Show me the money..."

The Timberwolf continues to resist the smaller blows towards it. It lets out a loud and powerful bark which causes everypony to lose their footing (hoofing?) for a while, leaving them vulnerable to attacks. It then follows with with an attack on Necrar and Sparks, although Sparks manages to get a quick cut at the beast as it passes...

Storm Blade growled in displeasure and pain, he knew that in his shaken condition, he wouldn't to get out his normal combination off attacks. Still, thanks to Splash's Control's motivation, and his armour, he was able to perform his shock-wave attack, even as the splinter dug further in. After he unleashed his attack, the pegasus was able to shake of this daze that had come onto him.

Aces shook his head heavily, attempting to dislodge the wooziness from his brain. On the third or so try, he gritted his teeth and gave himself a thump on the temple with his non-metallic hoof at the very end.
That did it. Aces took a moment to wince, then looked down at his still non-functioning (at least when it came to weapons) arm. "Come on already!" he shouted, turning and slamming his metal arm the broad way across another nearby tree.
Near the top of the tree, one of the biggest branches broke off and fell on timberwolf's head.
Aces looked at the ensuing destruction, then down at his arm, which had now lit up completely and was letting off an electronic hum. He smiled and shouted to Sparks: "Told ya I'd do i'!"

As you slash the timberwolf's paw, it loses its balance, and begins to fall to one side, not unlike a tree. It finally topples over and crashes into the water, its many logs and branches scattering everywhere, most of which land in the water and begin to float downstream...
