Icy facehooves. "I still can't believe such a thing like that really exists."

Pumpkin looks back and forth, pondering a question. He soon gives in and asks "Do you have at least a general idea where these places are? Or does this 'Silver'? I'd hate to get lost in the 'strangest places in the world'."

"Don't worry, places like that have a way of... drawing your eye. Air's Rock is to the southwest, it should be visible just a bit past Taopony Swamp"

OOC: I don't have the patience to do a bit with the party 'lost' in a PbP. Finding your destination should not be a problem at any point.

"Ah the old and always reliable mood of travel." Icy comments.

"Well, I guess that answers my questions. Is everyone ready to go?
Personally, I'd like to stop by the local weather team before leaving.
You... do have one of those here, don't you?"

Gusty thinks for a moment, absently scratching her left leg
"Ok, In that case, I'll see you guys at the entrance in .... one hour?"

Cheerfully, Gusty heads out of the guild, and in the direction of the port.

Some time later, she returns looking rather the worse for wear: bruised, tired, slightly wet and covered in what appears to be a shipping tarp.
She sits down next to the entrance and waits for the others.

Silver nods to the...briefings mare and goes off to pick up her travelling gear.

Silver returns later stinking to high heaven but with a set of travelling equipment, including a new grappling hook, climbing pitons and a fancy saber, and sits on the opposite side of the entrance from Gusty.

Dancing leaves, hoping to find an old fire adept who had some stuff left over from their younger years.

Dancing returns flipping a coin and showing more burn marks on himself than normal, though he is smiling. He nods to Gusty and Silver and stands in front of the entrance.

"Seems fair," Pumpkin mutters, somewhat in thought. He starts wandering through town.

Icy wanted to tell the group about her own skills when it came to the weather, but by the time she felt like speaking, some ponies had already headed out. So she basically just waits said hour double checking her general travel tools she had in her saddlebag trying to figure out if she was missing anything major.

Rollcall!

Outside of town the party meets up:
An injured but enlightened Gusty emerges after a disastrous visit with the weather team.
A charred but empowered Dancing arrives following a surprisingly action-packed philosophical debate.
An oblivious but pleased Pumpkin reaches the scene post a superfluous musical number around town.
A smelly but wealthier Silver shows up upon completion of a swamp foraging venture.
(Icy & Keen presumably find the entrance first, and without incident?)

"Ugh, what is that smell?" Dancing asks, scrunching his nose up. "Not even the more notorious stink bombs at the university were this bad."

Icy had mostly found a shop that she had skipped when she first entered the town and filled up on some herbs and apples, also she had patched up a hole she had finds in her saddlebags. She also found out where she had misplaced her Frost Jewel, the flightless pegasus was in fact smiling about that find.

Keen was still a little bothered by being late to the guildmaster's meeting so after a cursory glance over the guild hall to make sure it wasn't in need of any immediate repairs, she headed towards the front gate. Gave her a chance to take her time as the last of her headache died down. Certainly a...varied...group. Spotting Icy and then the others as they finished up, she gave each a brief nod as she tried to figure out how they were going to handle the situation. Might be best if they made more formal introductions but that might have to wait until they stopped for the night.

Silver ran a hoof trough her mane in an attempt to dislodge any leftover swamp muck that was in there.
"Taopony Swamp."

Gusty nods, rubbing her bruises.
"The port. I won't ask if you don't."

Icy just goes to summoning a raincloud above Silver to help wash out that stink... And to also show her own skills for the party.

Weather-Crafting:

Pumpkin whistles a cheery tune to himself as he makes his way to the town gates. He gets a look of confusion on his face as he observes his companions. "What... happened to you all?"

Icy turns her deadly red stare to the sky, the dangerous look (that is nonetheless bereft of malice) causes much of the nearby air to drop its water - spell augmented. Silver is quite possibly as wet as anypony has ever been... with the good news being that such a torrent was sufficient to wash off the swamp stink.

"Oh, I just had a heated debate with some old pony." Dancing says, flipping a golden coin. "How did you do in town?" Dancing steps away from Silver as she is doused, and turns to Icy. "Hey! Watch where you.... You're glaring at the sky?"
