Silver starts shaking the worst of it out her mane.
Roll to Assist! (Icy Gaze, Athletics: Helping with the drying by shaking most of the water out early.)

Roll:

Gusty grins at Icy Glare. "Bet you second helpings at our first camp that I can get her dry faster."
She shrugs off the tarp.
"I've got a new recipe to try...."

"May non-pegasi take part in this challenge?" Dancing asks, putting his coin away.

Icy laughs. "You are on..." Than nods to Dancing. "Why not? The more trying, the faster he'll get dry" just commands the winds to dry the wet pony asap.

weather crafting:

Dancing smiles as he is engulfed in flames, and moves just close enough to Silver that most of the heat isn't lost but the fire doesn't burn her.

"Oh Tartarus."
Silver starts backing away in the direction of the Taopony Swamp.

"I was joking!"

"Mostly. Ohh well, if we're doing this anyway..."
She starts flying circles around Silver, muttering under her breath.
"Dry salty air. Heat to about 40 degrees coltigrade, low air density at vortex center, but keep wind direction outwards. If possible, keep outer edge........"

More winds!:

"Hey," Dancing says, stepping back closer to the fencer. "We can't dry you if you run away."

Noticing Icy's display, Keen tilted her head in intrigue. "I see you favor a non-traditional approach to the weather. I'd offer to help but still dizzy from earlier." Redirecting her attention to the soaking wet silver haired mare that was trying to back away from the whole situation, it seemed logic was in order. "You know, you're probably more likely to get burned if you keep moving. Just stand still so they can finish. No pointing in working together if there's no trust between us, is there?"

Attempting to Calm Silver Down:

Whether calmed or not, Silver is at least alive... and very much dry.

"See? That wasn't too bad." Dancing says, extinguishing his body. "So, anypony know who wo... No!" He exclaims. While he was taking out his coin again, a bit of ash fell out of his mane."My letter!"

Icy laughs. "Who knows... Who cares... We just had some fun, and learned a little more of eachother's skills. That's good enough of a win for me." Then she turns to Keen. "Can't do the traditional approach, because of the fact my wings, don't work. So I found my own way to do work the weather and got really good at it."

Gusty sighs.
"I guess I'll stick to cooking.... Weather just doesn't seem to suit me."

As the party settles down, and begins to edge their way out of town, they hear a distant voice:

The voice rapidly approaches, becoming a shout:

Silver looks at the spirits, then at the party, then back to the spirits and back to the party.
"I think I'll wait for you further up."
Silver makes her way around the Element Crusaders and goes further up the road.

"Am I the only one of us... Kinda disturbed by this?" Icy asked quietly of the rest of the party about the Elemental Crusaders.

"...."
"...."
A schocked expression passes over Gusty's face, quickly replaced by a wide smile.
"Djinni! Four of them! I've never even seen one! Mom was always talking about them!"
She rushes up to the group of spirits.
"You want to join us? Great! Do any of you cook? What kind of food do you eat?"

Pumpkin stares at the spirits in confusion. "...You know them?"

Tears appear in the corners of Gusty's eyes.
"You... can't eat? You poor thing!"
She sweeps Spice up into a hug.
"Don't worry! We'll find some foods that... don't require swallowing!"
she looks back at the rest of the party.
"let's take them with us! pleaaaaaase?"

Spirits... Energetic ones at that. They could be useful if they aren't too high maintenance. "What all can you girls do? It could be good to have help but we don't need anypony tagging along who'll make things harder. It's good you don't need to eat but the noise could be a problem."

Ugh, non adepts just don't get it. It's just TOO EASY to travel, watch:

Drift slides along the ground, slamming into Dancing Flames... or she would slam, but instead the Jupiter Djinni disappears into him.

Keen very briefly narrowed her eyes at the seemingly dismissive comment. "Look, I'm merely trying to make sure we've got everything in order. While you are likely to be a great help, it would be outright wrong for us to bring you along and then put you in a situation to get hurt that you can't handle. We have just as much responsibility to protect you as you have to assist us. If this all works out then we're glad to have you and if not it's best to part ways early. Either way, time waits for no one so we need to move on." With that, Keen decided to follow Silver rather than wait around.
