Aces slowly made his way over to the familiar tub of apples, walking a quarter-circle around it before approaching - so as to ascertain the best angle. He looked up for the pony - or otherwise - in charge.

The pony in charge is an male earth pony dressed up a clown. He spots you looking at the tub, and says "Hello there sir, care for a bob?"

"Excuse me," Necrar says, tapping the pony in front of him. "Do you know how long this haunted house is open?"

"Hm... Gimme what the favor is first, and then I'll see if I'll agree. And I might be willing to do the never go against you thing if you add the qualifier "Unless my own life, values, sanity, or safety in any way shape or form" is tacked on. Meaning, I'll do what you say... Unless I can find some way to specifically tell you how it would go against one of those. For example, it would go against my values as a 'soldier in training' if you ever tell me to steal/kill/maim/murder/slaughter/various other ways of torture somepony who wasn't guilty of a heinous crime." Snipe grins widely.

"Erm, it should be open 'til morn," answers the pony, a mare dressed up as a vampire who seems to be in a small group of other mares dressed as vampires. "Cool costume, by the way."

The stallion smiles. "Well sir, I'm glad you asked," he replies. "This tub is your standard game, but we got a special tub for those who want to put their bits where their mouth is. Does that interest you sir?"

"Thanks, I've been working on it for years." Necrar says before stepping out of the line. He continues to Main Street in the hopes of finding his allies.

"I may be a kid, but I'm not an idiot." Snipe makes a small face. "Besides, I needed to grow up quickly when my special talent was essentially handling a gun. Speaking of." Snipe grabs his sniper-paintball gun and promptly fires a shot of Granny-smith-green beside the bobbing for Apples tub, avoiding anypony near there and waving if Aces looks up.

At that moment, you hear somepony calling you from the bottom of the tower. "Snipe? Snipe, you there?"

Aces, unflinching, looked up, attempting to follow the shot.

Perception check:

Shaking his head a little (an obvious acknowledgement) Aces neglected to wave back as he headed towards the bobbing-for-apples-for-money game. If the colt needed his help, he could darn well come and get it himself. Preferably with a bit or two in hoof.

Snipe jumps onto Struck's back and prods the thing forward, sending one last message to the spirit. "I'm about 75% on accepting the deal with the condition I made. Give me a bit and run the favor by me before I decide."

You do indeed see the colt...

As you enter the tent, you see a mare, dressed as an acrobatic, next to a larger tub made of finer materials, and near a jar of bits which sit upon a small table. Inside the tub, you notice a couple of differences compared to the tub outside. The apples are generally larger than the ones outside, and the stems have been cut off. There are also a small number of pears and oranges floating about as well. The stallion doesn't enter the tent with you, presumably to watch the other tub, leaving you with the mare...

"'Ello Sir," greets the mare, "You look like ya know a thing or two 'bout bobbin'. Why don'tcha try this tub, for a mesely five bits, and if you're one of the fastest bobbers in Sain'-Trotez, we'll send you a share of the bits as a prize."

You fall to the ground. As you look behind you, you see a scruffy but playful pup has decided to snatch one of your bone hindlegs. It currently holds the leg in its mouth, wagging its tail and looking at you with gleeful eyes...

The construct nods, most likely on behalf of the whisper, and begins moving. As you move, the pony continues to call for you. You soon recognise the voice as that of Hammerhead, one of the colts of Saint-Trotez, and somepony you knew from your brief time in school, before your cutie mark appeared and you asked to become a guard-in-training...

"Hammerhead, you prooooobably know I've got a bit of a friend who's letting me ride on his back. Be patient!" Snipe fiddles and pulls his guns onto his back and holsters, along with a lot of extra bullets. He loads one of his bullets and holds it in his wing for safety.

"Hello there, little guy." Necrar says, raising himself to a sitting position. "I guess I'm you're new favorite toy."

"Well, I'm came to ask you if you wanna go trick-or-treating," replies to colt, "But can you see Key from up there? We can't find her, and Lock is getting pretty sad about it." (Lock and Key are unicorn twins who both suffer from Albinism...)

Snipe flies back up to his perch, using his special eyes to see a lot of stuff.

Snipe goes back to Struck and frowns. "Wherever she is, she's probably inside somewhere." Snipe's wings flare out and he grins, shooting his friend a thumbs up. "Hey... Trick or treating is a good way to go door to door..."

"Righ'," Aces nodded. "Now tha' we've established there're no tricks, jus' tell me when to star'."

Sparks is slightly stunned by Varesh's choice of appearance. 'It... was nothing important. Just either a thing happening in a good way or a neutral way...' Now thinking more to himself ' I really should be more disturbed by this... maybe 'cause she actually did it to get back at me that one time bah not that important...'

Necrar does his best to frown, which results in the eye-lights slightly slanted at the bottom. "Well, maybe not that well behaved. Well, if you're going to keep my leg, how about you come with me?" Necrar flies a little in the direction he was going, turns around, and motions for the puppy to follow hiim.
