Storm:
Kanen is bleeding from a deep stab wound to the upper chest. The skin around it is slightly singed, and muscle spasms wrack his body, but are the most severe near the wound. It appears in addition to being stabbed he has also been electrocuted. He is also going into shock.

I'm assuming that this would actually take a heal check to treat?

Actually it meant "yes, you would need a heal check, duh."

However, as with all heal checks, you would probably get a bonus for knowing how to treat shock, stab wounds, and muscle spams, as opposed to saying "Storm treats for shock, stab wounds, and muscle spams".

Forgot I couldn't apply Freaky Knowledge to my Heal Check. Which drops my roll from 19 to 14, adding Bells assist, that puts its at 16.

I don't suppose I could apply the +10 from Medical Training to treating Kanen going into shock? Anyone else have any ideas?

It's medical training the stupid one that only applies to poisons or curses or something? I think I houseruled a long time ago it also applies to serious injuries.

Looking back, that's probably not a great idea. Life threatening, though, that will work. And slipping into shock and bleeding or is definitely life threatening.

Either or. If he stops to fight, then Kanen stays down for now. However, once he's in combat, he can spend his turn on a heal check instead of fighting- tasks up the entire turn, though.

Storm has resist 3, BTW. Not sure if you factored that into the damage Storm took.

Storm DOES need to roll a d6 though.

I was working with the assumption that you didn't factor Storm's resistance. So the damage to Storm was 7-3(Res) = 4 Damage. So he's down to 26 HP.

By my count Kanen should be at 29+2 hp, not 13+7. Bells can add flavor to get slipped turn if she wants; either way griffons turn coming tomorrow.

Do I flip for dazed before or after taking damage? That'll affect what interrupts I use. Unless I'm misinterpreting and Terrus flips the coin, in which case it'll also affect what interrupts I use.

Yes, I've got a strategy even if Dodger gets dazed that will end in Dodger remaining standing.

OBJEC- no wait, I don't even like that game.

Misdirection is an interrupt, meaning that it takes effect before the damage- which means it happens before ALL of the damage being thrown around, and therefore the Griffon is still a viable target. (technically even if it hit after, the Griffon would still be a viable target). So you need to flip to see which gets hit, Griffon or Alicorn.
