Quartz, though distrustful of the doll's sudden and unexpected apparent sentience, claps at its 'performance'.

"Oh, can I watch the Minatoor (she pronounced it like how I spelt it here,) and the magic toy and the cloud pegasus?"

"Whom?"

"And I made this for her" Frost indicated the sculpture he made, then looked at it a bit more closely. "It'd look better if it had more color. Made the ice parts look more like ice." He looked at the weird doll, wondering if it could do something like that.

The look made towards Smarty Pants did not go unnoticed by Honey Sticks. She nudged him gently to turn his attention towards the sculpture. "Go on."

Starsprinkle got a hold of herself. Why was she so depressed about this? If she was dreaming, there was hardly a point to staying mad at some rude Germane pony! The stupid butler probably doesn't even exist, anyway. Besides, she could just wake up, and...

Wait. If she knew she was dreaming, that qualified this place as a lucid dream. And she could do anything she wanted in a lucid dream. And waking up is among the most lame things one could do in a lucid dream. But there was one thing she could do that she would love to do more often - the Super Amazing Starsprinkle Spell. Originally designed as part of a capstone project, her first casting of it backfired horribly and caused everything else to backfire even more horribly. While most certainly not the original purpose, Starsprinkle realized she could use it to make the Germane pony's day go horribly wrong. That'll show him for being so rude! So she headed out after the servant...

"I believe you mentioned your father, Princess Snowburst. Might I inquire about him? I am most curious. I assume he is the lord of this castle?", Quartz asks politely.

Honey's ears drooped. But no pony else seemed to mind, so it was safe to conclude that she need not urge him on to try with the Cute Anime Eyes. She had refined them to an art form when she had seen her mother watching cartoons... while she didn't understand the meaning of it (Or why Mom insisted on calling it "anime" instead of cartoons) she had figured out that Mom had a certain soft spot if she widened her eyes just right like they did.

But no matter. She suddenly became aware of food in the general area - and, moreover, of a persistent hunger. She dashed to the nearest open seat, jumping up through and straight onto the table. She sat down in front of the nearest pony and put on the Cute Anime Eyes, sticking her lip out juuust right...

"Oh" Frost said, trying to think of something to say. He didn't really spend a lot of time with foals under normal circumstances, and he hadn't had the best luck in communicating with ponies here. "I can make the cloud into other things too. Is there anything you'd like me to make?

The princess opens her mouth, but the grey unicorn interrupts with a blunt "Nein, danke."

"Great! Thanks a bunch!"

With that, Starsprinkle headed down the halls in search of the princess. And the butler.

"Hmh, I believe I myself am rather peckish as well.", Quartz Brittlebane says, and asks a servant for a seat that can support his size, so that he too may join the feasting. "What have your chefs prepared for this feast today?"

Frost gave a half smile. About as lucky as ever with the ponies here. "Well, it does look like it's breakfast time, so maybe later, ok?" He excused himself , and moved to the table. He gave a quick glance around him at what was being served.

Quartz sits down, prepared to endure backside-frostbite for the sake of politeness, and samples a few random treats offered.
"I must say, the proceedings around here seem very formal and... cold, so to speak, present royalty excluded of course. More so than the kingdom of Equestria, if I may compare. What form of amusement or excitement, for the betterment of a healthy spirit, goes on in here, if the outside conditions are too harsh to be enjoyable?"

Frost looking over everything, decided to sit down next to Brittlebane. Maybe later the two of them could compare notes and try to figure out what they should do to get home. In the meantime, however, they should have breakfast.

Eventually Starsprinkle made her way to the dining room, seeing a whole bunch of ponies gathered around... including the mean Germane butler. It was the others that worried her, though - they didn't necessarily do anything to make Starsprinkle upset! She didn't want to make them upset at her in turn - she had few friends as it was. If the Germane butler were to suddenly be nicer to her, though, she might not have to do... THE THING... to him. So she just stood there, a slightly dopey grin on her face, waiting for somepony to show her to her seat... or at least recognize she was there.

"Schneesturm." The butler's interruption is met with a blank confused stare from the filly princess. "The blizzard."

"Oh." The princess looks down in disappointment...
