Midas is afraid, but he's still able to function. Something about yelling just scares the absolute hell out of him, even when it's not at him. He seems to automatically assume that loud, angry voices mean that he's done something wrong. And the repetitive chanting is helping him to calm down.

Okay, sorry. If you want to, you might be able to skip all the stuff that isn't Sunlit getting caught by the magponies, since Marked wouldn't be there for the other group's stuff. Basically, Sunlit got to the cavern where they took Midas's Element, they caught him (thank's to a nat 1 Stealth check) and Sunlit has heard them claim the Elemmet is theirs, and showed it to them.

Most of the stuff in the other group is character stuff, but they're some plot, too. If you want a summary of that too, just ask.

For the record, caught him does not mean "tied to a stake about to be roasted for dinner." We're having a moderately tense conversation.

Well last I checked the Critic is hiding in the Room with the element... So he'd have likely seen that. Still will plan to get to reading everything and posting asap... Which is hopefully sooner and not later...

Good news everyone! I'm finally caught up... Bad news: I'm drawing a total blank what to do... And then heading to bed. Deeply sorry... But yeah... Hope to figure out how to do a posting soonish and if I can't figure anything out myself. I"m equally open to hearing ideas on what I should do to reenter the game at this point.

Basically, Xel, since Marked is watching the encounter between Sunlit and the Hippocorvids, he could decide to make his presence known in some way, or you could say that he is waiting o ee what happens next.

Yeah... Given between the two options... Wait-and-see-in-the-background is the natural state of a Critic. So that's what I'm going to do. (hope something like a fight or who knows what pops up to prompt me to jump in and try to help counter it)

Oh by the way this really neat combat idea a friend of mine made Wounded Warriors a specialized add on to the combat system to take the place of how things normally go that makes KOing still feel like a threat and adds some really neat new features. (though still will be open to our HP getting upgraded to 40 or 50 but that's neither here nor there) unfortunately this add on still factors in the dreaded "lose pips when KOed" which is one of the most annoying parts of the combat system.

I'm considering it. What do you all think?

Personally I think upgrading the HP to 40 would be nice no matter what else we do...
