The League [IC]

Ash steps out of the jet and scans the rooftop for viable entry points.

"Have fun..." Phoenix says as the first two exit, moving over towards the door so he can be one of the first out when the action starts.

"I'm sure you will," Ash says. Under her breath, just softly enough that Phoenix can't hear, she adds, "you knife-twirling psychopath."

As Scratch got off of the plane, he could feel multiple sources of fear coming from the lobby and two sources of bravado also in the lobby. He then relayed this info to his team members.

"The hostages are scared, I never would have guessed."

"Bravado's a feeling? Huh. I always thought it was a behavior or something..." Phoenix leans towards the door. "How many henchmen or whatever did they say Static brought, though? Shouldn't there be at least 3 bad guys?"

Actually don't remember how many bad guys there are supposed to be. Authentic!

Ash easily spotted the rooftop access door.  She could pick the lock or perhaps break it down.  The rest could choose to follow her or make their way down the sides of the building however they saw fit.

Ash smoothly and easily popped the lock. So much for modern security. The others could easily follow her in if they chose to.  Meanwhile, Phoenix wasted no time.  Swiftly scaling the building's wall, he found a spot at the back entrance where he could ambush any escaping criminals.  The team could each hear from the pilot, "The comm links should be working.  It's short range but that's all that's needed for this.  I'll maintain silence unless needed."

Ash steps into the door way and turns back to the team. "You can follow if you want, but I'd like things to stay quiet on my end. If you're not gonna keep it in your pants while I work, you should probably just. I dunno. Jump down and be the distractions or something."

"We should probably avoid being distractions until we know where the people we want to distract are." Yuri points out softly. "Can you figure out who we need to distract and who can be...removed from the scenario in short order? Just dropping in out of nowhere is going to get a lot of people killed."

"Not if you do it right." Phoenix very helpfully offers over the comms, but says nothing else. He monitors the back entrance as he had planned to do, but also looks for any ways to sneak in that he could use to get the drop on anyone inside, as well as listen for activity.

It didn't look like the back was guarded at all. However, the back door itself required a key card. Phoenix could try to break through the glass but it was unknown whether or not that was actually glass or not.

Iron Maiden bit her lip in nervousness. She didn't like having to sit up here waiting, but it was for the best. Stealth was not one of her fortes.

"Does anyone know about bank security systems?" Phoenix speaks lowly over the comms. "Specifically, what would probably happen if I tried to force an electronic lock on the back door?"

At least there was something Iron Maiden could do. She tried to remember her any stories her parents ever told about supervillains breaking into banks.

Ash enters the bank through the roof. "Lemme think," she says over comms. "Bank jobs were never my wheelhouse."

Yuri sits, comfortable and sedate, and says nothing.

Phoenix and Ash realized that there's any number of things that could happen ranging from simply being alarmed to initiating a full shutdown. However, Iron Maiden remembered from the very few robbery attempts of the Grand Phoenix Bank of Mont Correl, triggering multiple alarms would seal the vault for ten minutes.

"That could be handy if we need to slow them down, or we could even let them break in and try to seal them inside. Best not to do anything until we're ready to deal with the consequences, though. Don't want them getting jumpy." Ash attempts to orient herself inside the building and find the best way to reach the lobby unnoticed.

Slowly making her way to the lobby, Ash saw several security cameras were destroyed. There was a subtle bit of smoke and ozone in the air. Upon reaching a hallway near the lobby, she could see two muscular guys in spandex suits watching over the hostages. The costumes were quite simple, both in solid colors with eye holes, one dark red and one grey.
