Zebulon, having heard Dextor screaming out about jellyfish or some such, figures that his job as guard is done and heads back inside. Also there's the bit about hearing an explosion and wanting to make sure no one's dead.

As he heads in, Zebulon notices the deskpony talking with a unicorn with a water drop Cutie Mark. Something about thermite.

Termites? Hopefully they aren't eating the boards in his room. Or was it Marmite? Zebulon's tired and needs his sleep, so he couldn't really be sure what she said. Still, a unicorn with a water drop cutie mark might know what caused an explosion. Probably Dextor. Again. Zebulon walks up to the conversing ponies.

"What's this I hear about this... this thermite?" asked Zebulon.

Honestly he was just guessing as to what she said.

Yeah, probably Dextor. How he got any lite brights is beyond Zebulon, who nods and starts to head back to his room, running into Cheese and company on the way.

Zeb would be more useful with them, but I can also join up with Barabas and Blackhawk if they're closer.

" I think we should take this chance guys, the roach said the vigilante was in the upstairs room, and unless he's winged it put the window, he's still there. I say we go up there and bust that door down and catch him and those weird ponies with that Doom character."

"We could also be blowing his cover. There are also spells on the door, one of which is a motion detector and the other I don't recognize."

Though relieved that he wasn't being bugged, Brittle's claims about his carelessness weren't exactly comforting.

Blackhawk stood at the top of the stairs, looking down in anticipation for the rest of his party. Occasionally his head would turn back and start looking around, checking for anything out of the ordinary.

No matter how many times he didn't find anything, he couldn't shake this strange feeling...
