Gears looks at the very important ponies...then at Ivana...then at the very important ponies again...then gives Klaue a disappointed look, not attempting to keep his voice low this time. "I think I'd recognize the princesses and the prime minister, guys."

Scroll looked at them with a tilted head for a moment. "I'm not sure how to react to this. I mean, why are they here and why is this such a big deal?" He looked at Twilight. "...And another ghost for once!"

Klaue does see some rabbits, but these ones seem to be real pets then the wild Moon Rabbits that keep following the were-griffon-wolfie.

"I think we'll wait... For Clockworks and Lightning's greet'n'spar to end before we explain why we're here to greet you all." Celestia states, just trying to get over the shock that the missing Royal Half-Cloud Lunar Phoenix was the very one that was involved in the attack on ponyville and helping with the smooze attack as well... She didn't dare hope that could've been the case.

So... would that be five or ten minutes of standing here twiddling hooves? Still, Ivana bit her tongue and kept her mouth shut. She did wonder why there was all this ceremony - usually people didn't take notice of her as a vampire slayer, so why now?

Gears, now fairly certain that the ponies in front of him are important but definitely not the princesses, prime minister, and other, turns his head to Scroll, almost ignoring the white alicorn's statement.
"It could have something to do with that big licorice thing we fought."

Klaue remained bowed.
"That and our attack of Ponyville."

After a short five minute brawl between Lightning and Clockworks, Lightning said to Quarrel. "Sorry about not responding sooner, was in the zone... But you are?"

Celestia facehooves again. "She's one of the six that both attacked and saved ponyville, remember?"

"Oh yeah..." The Alicorn of Storms said with a blush... "AU, we'll talk more and spar more later. We've got more Royal stuff to deal with now..."

Celestia nods to Three Leaf who then started to speak. "On behalf of all of Equestria we give your small group our thanks... For having fought the Smooze, won, and lived to tell the tale. Now I know you are all here to come for on a hearing for having attacked Ponyville... But given light of the Colt of Smooze's lightly involvement in such actions. You will be given a different sentencing then most who'd have done such an action to the extent you lot had done. Now I'd love to inform you of that sentencing, but I this is not for pubic ears..."

"Nightmare Moon, who does this pony think he is to speak in you and aunt Celestia's stead?" Ersa asked sounded affronted by the perceived slight to the princesses.

"You can tell us at the hearing," said Ivana. "After all, it's not for a few hours."

Ersa looks at Ivana and asks, "The what?"

"The one whose JOB it is to speak in the princess' stead."

"Please... Dear... Don't call me by that name." Luna said as she shutters at being called Nightmare Moon.

Celestia nods to Ivana's comment. "A lot has happened in your long nap, Ersa..."

"They're both right here though." Ersa said, clearly confused.

"Believe me, I've had a hundred years and I've yet to fully understand Equestrian politics," Scroll mused.

Ersa shrugs and remarks, "Well I wish you all the best luck and I'll be sure to put in a good word for all.... of you." slowing down when she looked at Quarrel and trying to imagine what sort of good word was even possible to put in for her.

Quarrel stares back at Ersa. "what talky-man want?"

Gears stares at Ivana...then the phoenix...then the prime minister...then the princesses.
Aunt Celestia? Nightmare Moon? The...pony minister... the princesses...
Gears pales as he realizes his mistake, quickly attempting to follow both Klaue and Ivana's leads and both kneel and salute at the same time.

"I can answer that one..." The Clockwork Mage said. "I requested them to be here to greet us... Just in case... As a test... As crazy as it might sound, I had a feeling that you might have, well... Got a sleeper cell smooze slaves goo inside of you that was somehow might've just been able to be immune to the Cloud-Tube... Cause turns out you all had the same smooze type in your systems... Well deep down... And that was deeply worrisome. Because Smooze goo that could take over a large range of races such as yourselves isn't good. And I was banking on that the combat of me and Lightning would trigger something if there was something to trigger... And you'd like attack one or all of the Royal Figures here. It was a risk... But we're not 100% sure just what that smooze goo that was used to make you attack ponyville fully did to you all."

"Yes... And because sometimes his crazy theories such as this end up being right more times then being wrong... We had thought to follow though." The Unicorn comments. "Last time we didn't try one of his suggestions was the last time Discord nearly got freed, again."

"Cool!" Scroll grinned. "I just absolutely love near-death experiences."

Ersa, surprised Quarrel actually asked her a serious question replied, "Oh um. He wants to pass judgement on all of you for actions beyond your control I presume and then task you with some form of punishment or service in lieu of such punishment instead of just being polite and asking for your help with whatever task needs doing. Or I'm misreading this crowd horribly and there's massive political pressure to see revenge for the temporary destruction of Ponyville and lacking visual evidence of the Smooze's responsibility and defeat they seek your blood. I could be mistake about both of those theories though. I have not spent a lot of time amongst pony-kind."

Quarrel looks confused. "thog not talking about green talky-man. thog talking about bird talky-man."
