Ok, for me that works... but my interpretation was that she was making the check, and I was making an assist roll, which for her would result in a +2 bonus?

BUT THEY RAN AWAY FORM THE ACID??? WTF??? How we'd not catch up or at least get into the lead? Far as I know they'd still not had even wanted to tuch the acid until seeing if they found anyway to "stop the acid" did anything... This just makes no sense.

Well, I read Gray's original post as "I run as it starts crumbling", even if it would've been too slow before the nat 20 to reach it. Add the fact the two have haste, any delays are really accounted for... The full minute, though, might be much. more like 30 seconds now. Editing

How wide is the path in the Acid Room in comparison to the boulder, particularly right by the doorway?

That's just mean.

Alternatively; though Maria wouldn't know this; Ultima could use Weaken Substance on it and then give it a good, hard, buck and shatter it.
