OH! While I'm thinking about it, for purposes of my Changeling's trickery Trueshifter shenanigans, should I go ahead and use the 8-point unicorns as they're being worked on, or the old 6-point and improvise the last two for now? Because at the time I made Melody, I wasn't sure how some of the mechanics worked.

I'd prefer the 8-pointer since that's the current one. So congrats, you get a free magic point for one of your skills.

Well, as long as I'm A PERFECTLY NORMAL UNICORN. WHO LIKES TO USE PONYKINESIS AND MAGIC INSTEAD OF BRUTE FORCE BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT UNICORNS DO. And such.

But in all seriousness, I'll update with the traits and all appropriate for my shapeshifted form too.

And since no one has posted yet, I'll just edit this one with level up results and alterations:

Racial traits: Switched out Graceful Form for Untracable. Reasoning is twofold: One, GF was errata'd out, so it was technically invalid anyhow, and Untracable will give Melody an emergency option if she gets exposed for what she is.

Utility Talents: Took Telepathy. Team communication is a good thing.

Combat Traits: Took Persistent Hex. If I'm gonna end up being the debuffer in the end, better get started now.

Combat Talents: Switched Quicken (Errata'd out) for Trance. Melody's direct damage all gets enhanced if she's blooded anyway, so a +4 that can help me get down to bloodied a little faster is effective, if a bit of a gamble.

Zeela lvl 2:

New Utility: Flame On!

New Combat Trait: Dangerously Talented - New Combat Talent: Berserker’s Rage

Also: Trading out Arcing Bolt & Valor for Defensive Fighting & Trance...

And note to self: Get the Ritual Knife item asap...

Choose one of the following;
A) Pay 2 hp. If you do, you gain 1 pip.
B) Pay 4 hp. If you do, you gain 2 pips.
C) Pay 6 hp. If you do, you gain 3 pips.


Basically her old bomb potions will be used to give her more power...

Brash is getting:

Nimble Hooves (I really had no excuse not to get this, especially now that I have another Weather-Crafting focused character and the only other idea I have is Teleportation and I can just take that next time unless someone sees a reason how we'd really need that.)

Iron Will (helps with both my builds now so yay)

Ring of Resilience and Amulet of Protection (only because there just aren't any other 500 gold items). (In fact in future levels I'm gonna be wishing there was an Item that cost 2000 gold that let me just buy a combat trait since I more or less have everything I really care about from items aside from maybe the Spellblade... and I'd still rather have another combat trait than that.)

Because really, I'm saving up for that 'start with 5 pips' item anyhow, so this is just a placeholder.

I have no idea why that item costs so much. You'd almost always be way better taking the Ritual Knife and something to mitigate the damage loss' impact. Like Lifebound Armor.

That'd be 1500 for the Armor and 2500 for the Ritual Knife, totaling to 4000, the amount of gold you happen to have right now.

Edit: Looked over the items in question, yeah, I'm going for it. So now she has a guitar and a Land Badge.

How much cash did we get for level 2's anyways?

4000, as it says on the Treasure Trove doc... Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one that noticed the level up gold system that's on there...

Added pacifist trait and I've read alot about it (streetsmarts) talent.
Saving bits (1500 currently considering initial equipment and 1000 from level 2) to purchase healers staff.

I think we're going to RP getting new items on the next level... Just as soon as somebody makes Zeela become aware that she is on fire... I think we'll be good enough to move on and junk.

There's no reason to do that, unless Logan isn't using the equipment system as it functions default, as you can just trade your stuff back in for their gold cost every level and get different stuff. Thus why I have the Amulet of Protection, it's simply something to do with 500 gold while I wait for more to do something else I care about doing with that money.
