You believe that this is Highland Charge, the current captain of the Eurclope Guard...

"If you need to ask who I am, then either you paid no attention during the academy or you are one of the two Equestria guards." The unicorn faces Sparks and Necrar. ""I assume you are the other one, and you are a civilian who can move along."

He gives you a small confused look when you say Necrar is an honorary guard, but doesn't comment on it. "No need. Just tell him that he has a dragon problem but I'm on the case." He gives you the leaf and begins to look at the trapped kobolds. "Now, what to do with you two..."

"Actually, these two are not dragons, though they do have high regard for them." Necrar says, correcting both of the guards. He walks over to the forcefield, and addresses the kobolds. "Hello friends, do you remember me? The Shadow Healer? Once again, I'm ready to help. What's wrong?"

Exiting the casino, Aces pocketed his winnings in some of the storage space he'd managed to free up in his metal arm. "Alrighty," he said, feeling an extra spring in his step, and hearing an extra clang...but, thanks to his next destination, not feeling entirely chipper. "Now to the giftshop."

Sadly, there are hardly any ponies out in the streets this early, save for the occasional jogger or ponies setting up stalls for the night. Highland gives a single laugh at your comment. "They are pests, soldier," he tells you, "And these two are both thieves and loyal to a dragon, meaning any previous loyalties means squat to them now. If I let you and your kobold-loving friend over there deal with them, I wouldn't be surprised if they escaped, and if they do, they will just warn the others of my plan, forcing me to deal with more traps than I could if I just killed them now." The kobolds begin to make choking noises, falling to the ground as they try to grasp something around their neck which isn't there...

(Sparks and Necrar, you might wanna do something to defuse the situation before Storm gets his flank handed to him by the Eurclope Guard Captain who is out of his league. That said, you could also roll initiative. At the current moment in time, it'll be Storm first, followed by Highland Charge...)

Snipe frowns, rubbing his chin with a hoof. "Away? Er... If you're sure." Snipe flaps his wings and flies up to the tower, dropping his guns and ammunitions beside Struck. The sniper looks over at Struck and pokes a shadow on the ground, before flapping his wings and returning down to Signal Look and Blank Page. "Ready. I guess."

Sparks snaps out of his state of stupor and steps in between Storm and Highland "The thing is he is kinda taking offence to you randomly killing that helped save the entire city from a plague of death well in the middle of the street. Now none of us dragon thingies included have even the faintest clue of what plan what dragon and what in the world you are talking about. So then can we just talk things out about why they are here but if you really want to we can all do down to interrogation and make things all official."

At the giftshop, Aces hemmed and hawed over the selection for a bit before bringing a ceramic unicorn up to the counter, along with a few of his recently-won bits. "So," he asked the clerk casually as they rung up his purchase, "You heard anything abou' this...Highland Charge pony some folks have been talking abou'?"

The captain rolls his eyes and stop choking the pair of kobolds, who have fainted at this point. He steps towards you and looks down on you. "Let me explain this to you. First, you might not have noticed it, but something here has tried to read our minds, or at least my mind. (No, just doing that so Snipe has a hoofful of shadows to turn into the sniper rifle if needed. He'll let the whispers message him if needed today)

Halfway through your comment, you feel your mouth zip close, and are unable to open it up or speak. "There we go. I will give you your speaking privileges back when I return tomorrow. Maybe by then you would have learnt some manners." At this point, you all see Golden Wall exiting the Town Hall, along with another guard dressed in impressive armour (although not as impressive as Highland Charge's), a light blue pegasus mare, and two regular pegasus guards. "Ah, Golden Wall, I've just met your Equestrian Guards. I guess we can add 'disobedient' to the your list of guards. He'll fit well along side 'criminal' and 'child'. You seem to have the worse luck with pegasus guards."

"I find Storm Blade to be passionate about his work, not disobedient."

"Sure. Anyway, you have a dragon problem, but I'm on the case. Fleethoof, take note. When we return, we shall gather troops and return to Saint-Trotez. Cut down the forest so we can move easily through it, slay the beast and all the pests that serve it, and, I don't know, build a train station dedicated to this battle with all the wood."

"Understood sir."

"Oh, and Golden Wall, we will be able to take you to your meeting. If I am correct and this is a dracomage, then I'll need a quick refresher from the monks. You stay here, we'll come back with the carriage." Highland Charge leads with his other guards, leaving you three with Golden Wall...

"Alright, what did Highland do now?"

At this point, Snipe, Signal Look, and Blank Page arrive to see the Captain, you three, and the two passed out kobolds (Snipe does know that they are kobolds, and knows that kobolds like to steal things from Saint-Trotez, but doesn't really know anything else about them without a check)...

Snipe looks, sees Storm, and promptly bursts into laugher, rolling on the ground and letting out a series of laughs, unable to really let out any words other than. "S-SO GLAD I CAME BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
