"I don't know, some colt could come running down the street, and before either the barrel or the colt could move out of the way, they would collide, injuring the colt. I think we could move the barrel, for their sake." Necrar says, a smile coming to life on his face.

"Oh, a package?" Aces repeats, still a little fuzzy. He reaches out with his mouth and grabs said package. "Maee da-"

He pauses, then sets the package to the side. "Many thanks. Where do I sign?"

"Come on then." As you follow Signal Look, Struck follows you, which Signal notices. "Are you taking your Struck thing with you?"

The griffin pulls out a clipboard from his bag. The clipboard has a quill on it for writing and a list of names, most of which with signatures, and reads "GOLD STONE INTERNATIONAL" at the top. Most of the names are in alphabetical order, although a couple of them rest at the bottom of the list out of order, which is where you find your name...

Snipe looks over to Struck, frowning a little bit. "I... Well, it'd probably be better to have him around so I can repair him. Besides." Snipe reaches down to Struck's hoof, pulling out a couple bullets and showing them to Signal. "I kind of use him as an ammunition box." Snipe put the two bullets back, inside of Struck's leg so they're not visible and flies over to Signal. "Won't ride him though....."

Aces signed his name as quickly as he could, hoofing the clipboard back to the griffin. "Thank you," he said, and meant it, though it probably didn't come through in his voice.

"Okay." Signal Look looks away from the construct as he starts to move again. He has never been a fan of Struck, but since you told him what Struck actually was, you can tell he's been more on edge about the construct, although has been quiet about it. He always looks worried when Struck is around...

The griffin places the clipboard back in his bag, wishes you luck in the tournament, and leaves you with the package...

"Well, this is the second suspicious package I've had to deal with in recen' memory," Aces said, fuzziness starting to drift off like he had the night before. "Hope this isn' the one that explodes..."

The package was opened.

Snipe frowns, looking at struck and back at Signal. "If you don't want him around, just ask. I'm sure leaving him in the tower for a couple hours won't make him break." Snipe flies over to signal and lays a wing as best as he could over the older pony.

Snipe then sends him a mental message. "If something bothers you, Lighthouse, please don't worry. I'm a foal, yeah, but that doesn't mean I'm stupid."

"You now what Necrar I'm getting the feeling that we really should be moving this perfectly normal barrel to a safer place." Sparks says barely suppressing a snicker.

The package was opened.

The package is opened and reveals a black velvet box, which you then open and see is a welcome package from the Gold Stone Casino. Inside is a letter of congratulations on entering the International, a certificate with proof of entry, then a booklet with where your first table will be played at, schedule, rules and social expectations, a pack of high quality Playing Cards and Chips with "GOLD STONE INTERNATIONAL" written and engraved on them, a snazzy black and green waistcoat with the logo on, and a small bottle of champaign. Frankly, you are surprised it all fits inside as nice as it did...

Signal stops to give you a quick rub on the head before moving again and responds "I'm okay, and I know you're a bright kid.

"Nooooooo, no move barrel!" The barrel begins to sound more and more annoyed with you...

A second, similar voice which sounds like someone eating begins to speak. "Unless you pony leader."

"Yes, pony leader move barrel," adds the first voice...

Snipe nods. "Yeah and I know how to get the best out of agreements too. After all, I got the best mentor ever, a tower that I can snipe from, and all the ammo and weapons I can get just to hang around the best mentor ever and learn what Guards do. Snipe smiles and nuzzles his mentor's side..

Aces looked over the loot. "Well, this'll be good to sell off if I lose, if nothing else," he mumbles, looking over the schedule and rules of conduct, doing his best to begin the process of committing them to memory."When's this puppy star', now..."

Sparks looks at Necrar and mouths Dragon thingies cave maybe. "Well how about we take you to our leader then?"

Signal smiles, picks you up, and places you on your back. "And I've got the best student."

At this point, the guard called Blank Page (Black Fur, Blue Mane and Tail, Page Cutie Mark, Gentlecolt, Awesome 'Stache) calls out "Good evening Signal, you are just the pony I was looking for. Are you busy? Captain Golden Wall needs some guards to accompany him on his trip."

"Oh, well, I think I am busy," he replies, looking to you on your thoughts on the matter...

At this point, the barrel tips slightly, just enough to let a small clawed foot drag out a folded up leaf in front of you and retreat back into the darkness of the barrel...

"No' too awful long now..." Aces said. "Hmm. I'm getting rusty, aren' I?" he asked nopony but himself as he stood from the package, leaning on his cane all the way over to his arm-ory and beginning the slow process of putting it on. "Better go down to the casino and ge' back into the swing of things."

Another notched screw there, another bit and piece of metal here. "Then I gotta head to the hospital, visi' some old friends...after tha', I have to ge' some more milk..." snap, click. "Take a shower once I'm home..."

He'll be at this for a bit. Eventually, though, he'll finish, and first thing after that happens he's going to the casino to try his hoof at the old blackjack table.

Necrar nods to Sparks, thinking the same thing. "Ok, we'll deliver the letter." Necrar says, levitating the leaf into his cloak.

Snipe makes a bit of a face at the idea, and sighs, nuzzling his mentor again before bidding him a farewell. "Not that int..." Snipe blinks for a moment and rubs his eyes. "... I ust got a bad feeling about the political talk. I'll go anyways."

Aces sat down at the casino's poker table, tossing in a few chips. "Miss me, colts and fillies?"
