Ghoul breathes a sigh of relief as the hunger for his friends' brains fades, but he tenses up again as he remembers the ocean of puppies around him. He attempts to climb a nearby tree to escape the puppies.

Everypony generally goes to sleep in and around the mouth of the cave, and find themselves dreaming mostly of kittens. When they awake, they are still surrounded by puppies, but many of them are curled up and sleeping with them.

Moonseeker snaps awake, sitting straight up. "Oh, it was only a dream." She stands up and, taking care to avoid stepping on puppies, walks out of the cave to watch the sun set. "I think it may be safer to travel at night from now on, considering Celestia is the princess of the sun and the day for a reason. I feel more calm by starlight, anyway." A shooting star streaks across the sky, and a twinkle comes to Moonseeker's eye. She turns around and goes over to the sleeping Dandelion. "Come on, sleepyhead, time to get up. We have a lot of travel ahead of us."

(OOC note: this is no spectacular sunset, or even a slightly colorful one. This is the most boring sunset you can imagine, and this is normal for sunsets, please disregard what may have been said in the past about sunsets

Ghoul gets up groggily, unused to mildly pleasant dreams. He gently rubs his head, and freezes briefly as he remembers the surrounding puppies. He briefly tries to step slowly and carefully, but quickly becomes desperate to move away and is not entirely careful with his actions. And he looks at the puppies, also.

Androgyny notices just how many puppies there actually are. One might say there are half a dozen villages' worth of puppies!

Androgyny wakes up curled together with Blackberry and several puppies who must've thought it would be a good place to lie. He uncurls and gets up carefully, trying not to wake any puppies while also giving them a more thorough investigation than he had previously.

Ghoul groans lightly and winces as he accidentally kicks the puppies, hoping that they don't start following him. He heads towards Moonseeker while continuing his attempts to not kick the puppies. Guardedly watching her, he says, "Y-yeah. It'll be better to travel under the cool night...than the hot sun.

"I'll kill you Shatner..." Sugar yells bellows as he wakes up. He sees the "adorable" scene of the sleeping puppies and the others carefully trying to avoid waking them. Let's fix that. He said to himself. At that point, Sugar let out the most bassiest, vibrating belch that he could muster.

All the puppies wake up, and suddenly the party is surrounded by a din of puppies jumping and barking and playing and yawning and generally being puppies. No skill checks are required to not step on them because they are generally avoiding being in front of your hooves, though every other direction is puppified.

Ghoul panics for a moment, before becoming massively angry and unleashing a commanding howl, not unlike the Timberwolves from earlier, in an attempt to scare the pups into submission.

Moonseeker looks at Androgyny. "I do not think we should go to any cities of any significant size. Remember the nature of our situation, please?" She starts walking down the path leading away from the cave, the puppies hiding behind her falling over themselves to keep up.

"Well, I'm sick of this forest. We've gained nothing from it, and there is certainly no solution to our troubles here. We need to find a way to either mask the chaos from Celestia's tracing, or else convince her that it's not in her best interest to try and remove it or imprison us. I'm tired of just wandering aimlessly."
