Non Sequitur: The Campaign

Sugar Rush was mortified and stunned from hearing that somepony didn't want to eat him because he was licorice.
"But licorice is delicious..." He continuously mumbled under his breath.
Deeper and deeper into the depths of depression he fell until he reached to the point of no retu..."Ooo a sign!" He exclaimed out of nowhere.
Sugar looked at the innkeeper with a sly grin.
"WHAT? I CAN'T SEEM TO HEAR YOU RIGHT. YOU SAID YOU HAVE ENOUGH TOMBS BUT ONLY IF WE GO SIX HOOVES DOWN?"

Mad Nopony tries to glare at Sugar Rush for that joke and the being loud... But the Joker Pony couldn't keep a straight face and just bursts out with a mad crackle.

Ghoul rolls his eyes and trots into the inn. As he passes the innkeeper, he lifts his small bag of bits with his tail and waves it about, showing he can actually pay.

Meta:

Androgyny begins to blubber and then cry loudly. "Why won't anypony pway with me? I want to pway right now!" Androgyny begins pounding her hooves on the ground screaming and crying.

Inside the Inn, Ghoul finds a couple of ponies sitting at tables quietly eating soup and bread, and a large, muscular, red and black griffon at the counter with a beer and a plate of meat. There's a mare behind the counter with an apron, busy cooking.

Outside the Inn, there are fillies and colts coming outside, sleepy and rubbing their eyes. "Why's everypony yelling?" "Who's that?" "What's wrong with her?" "Why d'she wanna pway? "Imma cat! Rawr!"

Androgyny stops crying and begins hopping around. "Why wouldn't I wanna pway, siwwy. I just wanna have a good time! Come on everypony, wet's pway tag!" Androgyny runs up and boops a filly on the nose before running away giggling. "You're it!"

The filly yawns. "Dat game's old. Don't y'know any better ones?"

Androgyny turns to look at the dissenting filly. Her eyes turn red and her teeth grow sharp as she yells "We are going to pway tag and you're going to wike it!" followed by her eyes turning back to normal as she smiles and skips away.

Ghoul steps up to the counter and addresses the mare, glancing nervously at the griffon. "Cou' I ge' a bowla sup ovah 'ere?"

"Sure. That'll be 5 Bits." She puts a bowl of thick soup with a stick of bread in it in front of Ghoul, giving him a look. "Mighty strange accent y'got there. Where y'from?"

The filly cowers in fear, screaming, and her mother comes out to calm her and put her back to sleep, despite the innevitable nightmares.

"Awww, why doesn't anypony want to pway with me?" Androfilly begins to sulk over by the inn. "At least you still wuv me Mistah Scwuffles. Mistah Scwuffles?" Androfilly suddenly realizes that the poor over-squeezed puppy has run away since she set it down. She begins crying. "Why won't anypony wuv me?"

"'Mistah Scwuffles?' WhaaaaAAOHMYGOODNESSWHATISTHATCUTETHING!?!" All the foals suddenly squee, and converge on the puppies. Escaping from the mayhem, one scared puppy runs to Androfilly.

"Mistah Scwuffles!" Androgyny hugs the scared puppy and pets it.

The puppy startles, but starts licking her because she's being gentler than all the other foals.

Ghoul gives the soup a cursory sniff and reaches a hoof into the bit bag, still held aloft by his tail, to pull out the requisite bits. "Lil' towna Baltmare, righ'otha si' of the territry. 'sa ni' place, if yer a fishn sort."

The hulk of muscle and feathers looks up slightly from his meat and booze.

"Da. Is nice place to fish. ...But not so nice place for quality meat."

Ghoul glances at the griffon, before commenting "Well I neva herd a Paintville, so wer fair. Coul I git a'nother chunka bread 'swell?" He starts into his soup hungrily, given it had been quite some time since they had last eaten.

She slams a loaf of bread three times the size of what came with the soup in front of Ghoul. "One Bit fer a third, three fer tha whole."

Ghoul quickly scrambles to pull out the required bits before taking a large bite out of the loaf.

The massive griffon downs his drink and in tandem with the barkeep's loaf of bread, slams the empty glass on the counter.

"Another."

He places the required number of bits on the counter next to the empty glass.

The mare refills the rather large beer mug, eyebrows slightly raised. "I'm not sure who's hungrier, you or that pony next t'ya. Sweet Celestia!" A bell dings, and she quickly goes to pull something from the oven.

Ghoul continues to glance at the griffon as he rapidly downs the soup and bread loaf, pausing with a satisfied sigh after he's eaten through the majority of both. Turning to the griffon next to him, he says, "Yer qui' a ways from th' e'sterlend; wha' brin's one'a ye this fer inlin?"

Speech:

"Well then... About my offer? I mean I can fight, help with odd jobs, or if you are in need some high-class magic I can try to help with my skills." Mad Nopony said to the Innkeeper not paying much mind to the whole Fillies for the moment.

"Well, I guess I need s'mpony t'clean up 'round the place, and since ponies've been travelin' a bit more than normal since Discord went 'way, I couldn't do it myself. Sure, y'can stay, long as y'clean the place up ever'night ya stay, an' I mean every inch. I 'spect th'place t'look better than I've ever seen it by the time y'go, y'hear?" The pony gives Maddie a good look, then goes back into his Inn.
