Non Sequitur: The Campaign

I took myself out of the pie momentarily. (Incidentally, it turned out to be a raspberry pie.) Mad Nopony was talking about... and island? Her home?

"Memory loss? This wouldn't be related to your 'wishing' deal you mentioned, would it?"

"Oh... No... More related to what had happened between me and Discord... And junk that happened when he found a way to upgrade the Island's Mind-Wipe drug..." Maddie said inbetween bites.

Tumbletop wandered into the room, sans his usual wings. "Ah, good to see that you guys didn't vanish or anything. Is there any food I can take?"

"Oh yeah there's food for all... Wait, who the buck are you?" Maddie asked not totally sure who this was. Not being able to realize it was Tumbletop without the wings for some reason. Well she's a mad pony so that's likely why.

I looked at her with new interest. A drug that erased memories?

"Besides poetry, I know something about potion-brewing, too. If I could get hold of a sample, I imagine I could make a remedy. A spell might work; but it would only work briefly if at all..."

Mad Nopony turns back to the Zebra. "Well good luck with that... Only a demigod known as The Watcher knows where the buck the Mind-Wipe Drug is stored... She doesn't really like most ponies or people at all, she only cares about who fights the Drive and doing a good job at the fighting and killing... Also feel it's highly unlikely that you'd be able to really help reverse any effects that were upgraded by a Mad God of Chaos. Then again, it'd likely be worth a shot. Maybe the Improbability would somehow be on your side..."

"Uh...Tumbletop? Oh, oh, wait, I get the problem. Hang on a minute." Tumbletop's horn glows brightly and dust motes and bits of water swirl around him. The mixture formed around his back and formed into a pair of gorgeous butterfly wings. "There they are. Recognize me now? Sexy, no?"

Meta:

Maddie then turns back to the Winged Unicorn. "Oh yeah... Didn't realize the butterfly wings were removable... Or didn't recall if you said such. One of the two..." She was very used to having two different chats as basically the same time...

"Well they look like they're magical enough for basic flight... Might not be good for advanced stuff though." Maddie guesses. "So that could explain why they failed you then."

Ghoulish trots into the main room, still rather wet and with a towel draped across his back end. He freezes briefly on seeing the newbies, but after a moment simply sighs, shakes his head defeatedly, and grabs a muffin. "Mornin. Anypony seen Androgyny or Blackberry?"

At that moment, Celestia walks into the room, stifling a giggle. "Androgyny is with Blackberry in the hospital rooms, waiting for her to wake up. It seems that Luna's teleportation void was somewhat unstable shortly before she..." Her eyes go dark, but she shakes her head and looks up. "Anyway, I'm here to go over with you how you're going to be getting to that- zebra?" Celestia starts, spotting Zacharias, then looks at Tumbletop. "Who...?"

"These are two newcomers that randomly stumbled into the group last night... So yeah... We're letting them stay for the moment and see what happens White Queen." Maddie explains.

Seeing sleeping in was definitely not going to happen, Sugar pulled himself up with the goo creature still attached to his body.
"Seems like all miss powerful is actually stumped, this is turning out to be a great day."

Ghoul bites into his muffin, frowning somewhat after Celestia does the head shake. "Y-yeah. I'm just...just gonna bring them some food and see how they're doing." He grabs one of the loaded trays and balances it on his back, using a portion of his tail for additional support as he quickly moves out of the room and towards...the direction that he thinks the hospital rooms are.

Meta:

"I actually just had a nurse bring them something to eat, so you won't have to worry about that. If you're wondering why I was giggling, I played a trick on one of the doctors." Celestia giggles again, remembering it vividly. "Anyway, is everypony here?"

"Oh." Ghoul doesn't exit then, robbed of his chance to mysteriously disappear. He sets the tray back down, and picks up a bagel. "We...might all be here? Ponies keep appearing and disappearing..."

Celestia looks at the two new ponies and makes a sound of agreement. She then moves over to the table, picking up the maps and a pencil from the floor. "There are three paths you can take, though they all have their ups and their downs." She starts using the pencil to trace three lines through the forest between Canterlot and their destination. "The first route you can take is the fastest, though it is also the most dangerous of the three. The second is the slowest, but it has the lowest danger level. The third route is a medium between the two, though it has a great deal of physical obstacles to pass, such as a chasm and a river without a bridge."

"Safe and slow...?" Ghoul says, as though the choice was clear. "Unless...unless there's some reason why we need to be hurried?"

"Personally don't see how the Dangerous and Fast doesn't strike everypony else as "win-win"... But I guess that must just be from living on Improbable Island." Maddie comments.

Ghoul groans slightly and quickly mutters, "Yeah-probly." He thinks for a moment, before actually saying to be heard, "Well, long as we keep a pace I s'pose it'd be alright enough. Might even be able to...nope, never mind. Should ask Androgyny though as well...find out if she's actually coming with us or keepin' an eye on Blackberry."

Ghoul leers at the princess for continuing to block his efforts to see his friend. He says lowly, "I'd like...to hear it...from her."

Celestia blinks, then face-hooves. She whistles for a servant, who opens the door almost instantaneously, then asks them to guide Ghoul to the room where Blackberry and Androgyny are.
