Rolf and Skitter go through the tunnel, triggering bells to ring in the desk room, concealed throughout the room. The tunnel is mostly straight, curving ever so slightly slightly to the right. There aren't any extra "dead end" tunnels.The tunnel itself is slightly wider than the other tunnels traversed earlier, and the dirt floor is not as "stamped in" as the other tunnels. Bits and pieces of soil roll from the wall as they pass through. Eventually they reach a room.

The room has various empty bags scattered around. Holes litter the roof, of various sizes. A big, sturdy support pillar is standing securely in the middle of other room. The room has two other tunnels , in addition to the one you came from, and is littered with broken pieces of wood. A few of the pieces appear to have been arranged into an arrow shape, pointing towards one of the tunnels. Several long wooden boxes can be seen, stacked messily in a corner, a few damaged. There is also a simple wheelbarrow, made entirely out of wood.

"Yeah, just one second." Horizon walks over to the stacked boxes and looks around for anything or anyone.

Perception:5+8=13 and then he'll pry open one of the boxes to get a look inside.

Horizon opens one of the boxes. There is a small skeleton packed inside, dressed in frayed and damaged clothing. Its joints aren't holding up the skeleton very well, as parts of it are disconnected from it.

Rolf raises an eyebrow at Skitter and Zthulan. "...You know this is the arrow I left for Jeraylia, right? This means we've gone around in a full circle. The arrow points to that seat with the meat on it, the other tunnel leads back to the High Priest. The only place we haven't explored yet on this side is the tunnel leading left at the fork after the room we found out about the bells in. We had decided to go right because that's where the bells were "alerting"."

...You guys really didn't realize we were back where we started?

The pacing combined with my poor memory? No. I don't even remember you doing that. On the plus side, Skitter might not have seen you do it so at least I have an excuse.

"Well on the one hand, I'm all for getting above ground. On the other, we've spent too much time down here to just leave without finding that tomb. So... someone else pick." Horizon watches the others for a response.

"I say we finish up that last tunnel. That way we don't have to worry about any surprises coming behind us. After that, we can talk to the High Priest and ask him whether he wants us to explore the "Matilda" side of the caverns, or go straight to the Mayor." Rolf then leads the way back to the unexplored tunnel.

The fact that I left the arrow kind of helped, though. I was kind of confused why none of you were saying, "We've gone in a circle", even OOC. Oh, well. Onwards!

Although, I wonder what Zarhon would have done if we had just unknowingly continued following the circle.

Oh, I missed all the star wars jokes. Is Jeryalia going to have to pull someones arm off? Really, she only a little bit like a woolly lumbering big foot. And can someone remind me why we're off the see the mayor? The wonderful mayor of town?

Laugh and snicker a lot. And keep giving you familiar looking room descriptions until you either get it, run back to the start, or get somewhere new, or have something fun happen. It was fairly good thinking with the arrow, Lynt. Getting lost is not a fun prospect. Very Happy

Rolf had turned back when he realized the others weren't following. After hearing Horizon's question said, "Yes. Tunnel first, then High Priest. Let's go." Rolf then started walking back to the unexplored tunnel.
