The Druid's [+1] Summon Wolf I think is a better plus summon. And Dan posted it, so it's kinda canon even if its not in any books.

Hmm, Brash Landing's armor can be.....the lens color for his goggles. His equips, mods to inventions? "Why does your hoverboard now have a spotlight, a telescope, and a frisbee launcher?" =P

It's more the fact that you give pips to your allies I'd think it'd be a better summon if instead of +PiP for taht skill it was a "Heal Target Ally xd4 HP" skill.
and I'll edit that in once my internet is not shoddy.
Mind making Landing's armor the goggles themselves? I want to add some sparkly goggles <3
Zeela's bomb potions? I like. Maybe different elemental damage like Bufubomb of agilaobombs........
and Sorry Tyger D: I'd love to have ALL OF THE PONIES but 5 is already pushing it. 6 will push it far over but if they know Persona 4 it'd be helpful.

And I like the idea of her making new weapon potions to use... Once she comes to terms with her Darker Self or something like that. I LOVE the idea... Zeela on the other hand still has issues and a lot of worry with that suggestion.

I don't mind really I suppose (depends how cool Elfy makes them in her pictar?). I just thought lens color was an amusing "armor" since like...how would the color do anything? (And yet I've seen equally weird things in games....)

Also yeah, really...one day. And I'm pretty sure half of us were in within the first few hours.

Sorry, no dice. I hadn't even realized the original version couldn't supply the summoner with PiPs. Which is what I need for my combat build to function.

And yes, one of the most annoying things I've found about this system is there is no way to help yourself. You are not your own ally, so every healing ability, every buff, they all can't help yourself, only allies, making it need 2 clerics. (The exception is the ghost summon, which can target yourself or an ally, and heal in the same wording).

I'm pretty sure there's a few heals and save things that self target (and there's always Second Sunrise which does both and hits the whole team including yourself).

Edit: Depending on what Logan's planning for alternate combat talent thingy (I only vaguely grasp what the idea is right now) I could have a suite of bee summoning combat talents and related traits for that? (I just suggested two new bee summoning combat talents.)

Yes, there is Pincer Attack, Second Sunrise, Midnight Blade... It's kinda funny how anything that benefits yourself directly is ridiculously costly in pips, though. Often outright ultimate attacks. For [-7], I can reroll all 1's with Midnight Blade for myself. For [-3] I can give the ability to freely reroll to an ally for the rest of the battle. Sure, less the damage boost, but you can reroll 2 or 3's to aim for a critical as well, and it can be done turn 1 if I felt like it. The game encourages teamwork, I get that, but I think sometimes it emphasizes it a bit much.

Nope. Invigorating Strike, Healing Salve, and Divine Boon are all ally-only. So is Celestia's Light: You give 3 THP to all but yourself. Benediction of Maladies as well, basically the whole Cleric tree is ally-only, other than Sunrise. Energize, Friendly Encouragement, Saving Embrace, Form of the Courageous Turtle, every single bard ability, among others. All ally-only, not yourself. Unless you've got disassociative ponysonality disorder, in which case, I guess you're your own ally. The system encourages crazies.

The system is based off of a story about friendship...makes sense that most of the support abilities aid allies rather than the user. That support specialists are invaluable to their allies but also require said allies to be useful.

The problem is that no party really needs two healers (at very least it's less useful than two of basically any other combat setup) and that means the healer has a lot of trouble ever getting healed if there aren't self heals.

Edit: The argument that someone else could just have a healing talent doesn't work so well since you only get to bring in 5 talents, so it'd be pretty rare for someone to bring in something that isn't related to their setup. Also, at least as far as I'm aware, most people build their combat setups with their character's personalities in mind so, you're not likely to get a single random heal on an otherwise set up character.

You can bring that up in the Combat Talent thread, guys, and it seems like you're going to want the Dia line, eh Raven? I'll keep that in mind.
That's something else. I might solely go for Tarot Relations when assigning the Personas, but there is the skills themselves. There's the elemental spells, physical attacks, healing, and status buffs/(Don't know the word). What type of things do you want? Here's a small list of the various things
Bufu: Ice Spells
Zio: Lightning spells
Agi: Fire Spells
Garu: Wind Spells.
Hama: Light Spells. (Generally Insta-kill however the % chance is sh-t)
Mudo: Dark Spells (Generally Insta-kill however the % chance is also sh-t. Probably'll just make this and Hama do damage :/ )
-kaja : Stat bonuses to the party.
-unda : Stat penalties to the enemy.
