You could do whatever you wanted when you were a kid ... but no one would see you breaking the rules, so its sort of a wash.

Speaking of wash, what if we secretly replaced everyone's bar of bath soap with caffeine infused bath soap?

Then everyone who took baths (The people with the time to do so) would want to get out of the bath and do things. ...Or potentially die if the caffeine causes an allergic reaction with them out of reach of aid. Everyone who takes showers (the people without the time for a bath) probably already drink coffee, so they wouldn't be affected.
