I'll admit I was thinking about that, but part of Necrar's canon was two simple spirits that he designated his "generals." They are now represented by the Abysmal Colt and the Abysmal Filly.

Long story short "Secret Changeling" is a bit of a tired trope and exists in most campaigns I've seen. It being one of the only ways a changeling would be allowed in games doesn't help You WHAT!?
