Hello! I know you're full up on characters but i have a guy that i really think would fit in, If you can't fit anyone else in then could you direct me to a place where he would fit in? If thats not too much trouble of course. Here he is

We already got an Arcana Specialist on this team... And no need of another I believe.

I'm just asking.

Fair enough, just putting out my first two bits on your character....
Re: Hayday (A Morally Questionable Campaign) - Backstage (OOC)
There's probably space for another character, though, you probably not one that overlaps with one we've already got.

Should I have Vari just walk in and say hello or does someone have some other way they want to approach this situation?

I more wish to it made clear the "ages" of the "punks" we are to kill... They like young adults, teens, or kids? The answer to this question would help greatly in Jill's reaction to this.
Re: Hayday (A Morally Questionable Campaign) - Backstage (OOC)
Erm, I would say young adult, but only just. A quick glance and you'd easily mistake him as a teen, and the way he conducts himself doesn't help...Xel Unknown wrote:I more wish to it made clear the "ages" of the "punks" we are to kill... Xel, I was actually waiting to see if Matthew or Cur had any specific ideas.

I think I was trying to have Jill more be just polite to Vari's mind and thoughts. And trying to not make it imply that she saw the Spider as her minion...
But yeah... I think I did misshear something from your other comments and I thought you had a plan of how to walk up and greet these older teens/young adults to like scare them away or something.

Re: Hayday (A Morally Questionable Campaign) - Backstage (OOC)
The point being, I specifically asked the others if they had anything in particular they wanted to do and then your response was to not give them a chance to respond and basically tell my character to deal with the issue.

Re: Hayday (A Morally Questionable Campaign) - Backstage (OOC)
on a out of character mindset I am sorry about what I did it was insulting to everyone who's yet to speak... But IC... I still kinda think that this is what Jill would say to the whole "take out the trash" task that the party has been given. Can't delete it now that it's got a post after it, so we'll just have to work with the hand we've dealt ourselves and work it out.
Re: Hayday (A Morally Questionable Campaign) - Backstage (OOC)
It has been pointed-out to me that minotaurs have the ability to, 2/day, treat any regular critical as a CMC.
So I'm going to do that wit his Streetwise check, mainly because I'm curious what that will look like!

Wow, that was kinda a big letdown. That feels like the result I'd get from 20, maybe 25. Not 40+.

As I said, I kinda felt that you didn't hit the FKs. Your post wasn't very seductive or threatening, and the only lie I saw was you saying you owned the place, which is totally irrelevant to persuading him to work for you...Ramsus wrote:Wow, that was kinda a big letdown. Re: Hayday (A Morally Questionable Campaign) - Backstage (OOC)
So I have to be overtly threatening ("Imma kill you!") to count intimidation and I have to seduce... what? You? Because based on the response the guy clearly wants to do something with my character later. So, what, I don't get the bonus because the guy would be seduced even without a check at all? I'm pretty sure I already stated before that I didn't necessarily plan to follow through on any promises made at all (I would if it became beneficial but, I certainly wasn't expecting it to work out that way and yet she said it anyway, thus lying).

So... Is this game going to follow the others to that Black Star Den thingie? Or is it going to just die where it is...
Re: Hayday (A Morally Questionable Campaign) - Backstage (OOC)
We can follow if you guys want to, but Ramsus has told me that there is no way Matthew will be able to continue playing regardless, so we're gonna lose a player anyway...

If we're voting on following, I'm going to say "no". The idea of moving to a new forum because someone got pissed and left is ludicrous.

Re: Hayday (A Morally Questionable Campaign) - Backstage (OOC)
Wait... so is this really not continuing? I would find that rather disappointing (although I understand it can be difficult when multiple players drop out)
Re: Hayday (A Morally Questionable Campaign) - Backstage (OOC)
If we were to try and continue it'd be either losing Retro or losing Ramsus... And I"m not sure I"d wanta really see how we'd make either outcome really work. Other then the lame "RECON: THEY WERE NEVER HERE" option...
Re: Hayday (A Morally Questionable Campaign) - Backstage (OOC)
Yeah, that would suck...Xel Unknown wrote:If we were to try and continue it'd be either losing Retro or losing Ramsus... And I"m not sure I"d wanta really see how we'd make either outcome really work. Other then the lame "RECON: THEY WERE NEVER HERE" option...
Anyway, sorry for the disruption of service. We will be resuming shortly, staying on the Pony Tales forums, but we are gonna need some new crooks. At this point, if we include people who made characters for this campaign but never posted in the IC for whatever reason, we've lost more people than we currently have left. If you guys want to invite anyone, I'll give you a few days before giving a open request. I'm just gonna update the OP with new character information before someone makes a character that is currently in Alcoltraz...

Re: Hayday (A Morally Questionable Campaign) - Backstage (OOC)
So is the whole game getting restarted... (less lame option then the "recon" one but still kinda sucks) Or what... It's not really clear to me.
Re: Hayday (A Morally Questionable Campaign) - Backstage (OOC)
Heavens no, and lose Tiger Lily and Thunderbolt? No, Vari (after finishing with the thugs in the laundromat) and Selena will slip away, do their own thing, being criminals and whatnot. The things they have done will still remain, and you may hear them in passing. I was talking about updating the OP for new character info because we need new players to replace Ramsus and Matthew, and since we've past Alcoltraz, I don't need them to make characters who are currently there. Sorry for any confusion...Xel Unknown wrote:So is the whole game getting restarted... (less lame option then the "recon" one but still kinda sucks) Or what... It's not really clear to me.

Aww... That's a shame. Loved how Jill bounced off of Vari... At least still got Jade to be "as close to a friend as can be done" with Jill Night the Science Pony.
