Uhh, I suppose a 1 session could be a day/half a day? Or an arbitrary 'rest period' of some sort. Nothing really specific in mind.

I've been going with arbitrary periods of time in my game. Usually no more than 2 months real time, which in the game is like 17 minutes.

Well, depends on whether you want to use a magic point you just got from an extended rest on what may or may not be a dream (which may not even count as such if it is). And whether you updated the element of loyalty/laughter, because I think those got switched/swapped a bit in the updated version.

It did, and it's the Indomitable Virtue- LL abilites, not Pony Tales. I just ran through and changed everything to the LL counterpart, including indomitable:

Her Kukri (Indomitability)
You always know when a mind-altering effect is about to happen to you or one of your allies you can see. You also gain the following ability:
Indomitable Will – Magic
You and up to six visible allies become immune to all mind-affecting effects for the next 10 minutes (this also ends any such effects currently in place). All affected creatures also gain a +2 morale bonus to all skill checks for the duration of this effect.

I don't need a magic point to know, only to get rid of.

Sounds like they might have some way of studying/warding the Xilstone. On the other hand, the mayors wife probably has a secret lab team equiped with the latest tech. So I'm conflicted at this point.

I assumed it was the same kind of crystal as was up in the tents- he pretended to give it some life energy, and then kicked a cultist into it. I'm pretty certain that the results of that were the same deal. But even if they are different, there's a good chance that he would connect the two as "evil crystals" and assume they were the same, or similar.

Afraid not. Full-body magical paralysis keeping you more-or-less helpless (endurance roll determines degree of body control, right now it's 'squat') physically, but mentally, your mind is perfectly clear/conscious/aware (well, until you start suffocating).

I've never thought to look before, but are their any sigils or such things etched into the back of the mirror? And if there are, would they be glowing?

If he's frozen, he's not putting any additional force into the hold, just stuck with the grip. I should be able to wriggle it out/pull back a finger or two for space, or no?

No sigils, outside of the normal, decorative engravings or art that might be on the back of a non-cheap hand-mirror. You'd need Magical Attunement to 'see' such stuff otherwise. Plus, Rolf covered it with a cloth so you'd have to remove it first.

He's gripping the mirror similar to how a lightning-shock victim does - not quite so easy to move his fingers as he's 'using' them. The same effect is also somewhat responsible for him standing upright (rather than toppling over like a log).

@ Horizon Endurance roll: Not enough to gain any control, I'm afraid, but you ain't suffocating just yet.
