Non Sequitur: The Campaign

Stargazer's eyes light up in surprise, and then happiness as she simply lets the moment happen, enjoying every moment of it. The kiss ends after what felt like an eternity of pure bliss, and all she wants is more. "I love you."

Blackberry blushes and pulls Androgyny into a closer hug, "I.... I think I love you too."

Despite the love she feels, Androgyny remembers the situation they're actually in. Regrettably she relaxes her hug. "We... we should probably find the others. They might be worried for us."

Blackberry blushes and rubs the back of her head, "Well.... Promise me we'll hang out tonight."

Blackberry smiles and stands, shouting, "Miss Flicker? Can you hear me?"

Androgyny looks at Blackberry confused. "Flicker? Who's Flicker?"

Blackberry says very plainly, "The dragon in the cave who helped me find you."

After a moment, Flicker comes back down to the hole in the side of the mountain. "You are lucky I was still within hearing distance. What is it?"

Ghoulish Guise can tell that they are in the same forest they were in before, but most of the forest must look the same, because he has no other reference than that.

Blackberry smiles, "I found my friend, thanks to your help. I simply wanted to introduce her to you and ask how I could repay the favor."

"My name is Flicker. There is no need to repay me this moment, though be sure that if I find myself in the need of a pony's assistance, I will come to you." She shoves her hand into a pile of treasures, then pulls out three matching necklaces. She gives two of them to Stargazer and Blackberry. "If you hold this amulet close to your heart and speak, you will be able to speak with any other who has one of these three amulets. Do so if you need me again, or even if you need a way to speak to each other quickly." With that, she gives them a smile and flies away again.

Moonseeker looks at Ghoulish Guise. "There is some magic within this cavern that is preventing me from magically determining our location. It is very powerful, and close, it would be faster and easier to enter the cave to quench it than it would be to try to escape it with distance."

Blackberry inspects the necklace and tries to figure it out.

Roll:

"That was awesome! Thanks Flicker!" Androgyny yells. She looks down at the amulet, but doesn't attempt to thoroughly analyze it

Blackberry, in trying to examine the magical properties of the amulet, ends up somehow inscribing Balckbury into the back.

"I don't know about that, but we're still in the same forest...I think." Ghoul looks at the cave entrance, before saying, "Blegh. We probably should've heard from them by now. Probably should go check for them."
Ghoul doesn't move towards the cave. "Yeeepp."

Blackberry groans and attempts to undo what she has done

Roll:

Blackberry manages to correct the spelling of her own name, but nothing more.

Blackberry smiles and once again attempts to discern the workings of the device.

Roll:

Androgyny laughs. "I should write my name on mine too. Later. I think we should go find everyone, I remember the way we came."

Blackberry learns that the amulet is filled with an ancient enchantment that seems to be very fragile. In fact, she is lucky that accidentally inscribing her name on the back did not break the spell, and perhaps should not mess with it any more in such a manner. The spell is difficult to understand, though the amulet itself is pretty to the point of being relaxing to look at.

Blackberry sighs and lets the amulet rest, turning her attention to Androgyny, "any ideas?"

At that moment, Stargazer and Blackberry hear the shuffling and rubble and a loud, angry yell from across the cavern system, from the third cave, where neither of them went. "I am going to kill that dragon if it is the last thing I do!!!"
