Discordian Promise (OOC)

Elacular made a laughter and a generosity character, since he wasn't certain which spot other people might want. He eventually chose Midas over Private Eye, but I didn't know until now whether or not she'd show up in the campaign. At this point, I just have no reason to remove her.

So, short version: scrapped character. Yes, we had a scrapped character before the game even started.

Okay, so I don't need to keep posting it, and interrupting the conversation, i'll just say here that anyone who looks a the stopwatch will get the same response Sunlit did.

Sorry, I maybe should have made it clearer; I wasn't expecting a response, so much as...well. She might be a little mad at the background clock from her farewell scene before lol.

But...huh. Actually, looking at that table...wow. I'd say we look pretty good across the board... and then there's the buffs. If I understand correctly, grandeur, here mentality and dependable pony mean anytime compass supports/is supported, we're guaranteed a +2 to the roll. Which sounded impressive until Xel whipped out +63 lol

Weeelll, there's seven of us including Ian... And I can summon animals to help too... We can break that too.

Yeah, that's a start. For another, in emergency situations, Instant Party + Grandeur+ Laughter= +4 to all checks for everyone except you for 10 minutes.

Also, are you waiting for Discord to respond to your persuasion check, Crystalite?

I know that my character is fully illiterate, because writing and reading are both very useful skills to use with comedy. Though he might act as if he can't read if it fits the joke in question.

You mean fully literate? And with his Back story, Midas is obviously a reader. Also, I'm very sorry for causing a fight so early.

Well I know that and you know that...I'm trying to play Midas as being sort of spectrumy and having a habit of saying anything that goes through his head, but also having been taught and socialized that tact is the greatest of virtues.

In stark contrast to Skitter, who doesn't quite understand the concept. This will be fun.

Say, didn't Rarity and Applejack butt heads a lot? It seems like they did, it's been a while so I don't remember.

Also, new facet of her character discovered: Skitter either trusts you completely, or not at all. There is no middle ground.

And I for one hope that my character will be able to help show that lies aren't the worst thing ever to Skitter... What with how jokes can be "lies" in some way at times...

Yeah, AJ and Rairity butted heads all the time. So it makes sense. I'm trying not to make Midas stereotypical or annoying, so I need you guys to judge me if that's alright.

Personally I can't wait for my hopefully humorous enterece to this game... So I could try to get upto date on how you guys are in character and whatnot.

We're in a silvery void in individual bubbles. We can see and talk through these bubbles, and even move, but Discord doesn't like us moving yet. We have exactly three minutes to talk, which should be about up now. Theoretically. This is Discord, after all.

Crystal you need to make an Endurence Chest and/or an Acrobatics if Skitter tried to hold onto the scarf...

Midas can't talk right now since he's hocking his guts up, but in and out of character, I'd like that.

Hey, as an aside...

Obviously, I'm still kind of finding my footing with this whole RPG lark. So... If I do or say something outrageously stupid, please call me out on it. It's the only way I'll learn.

And Midas... look at the bright side. If Skitter loses your scarf, you can get a bow tie.
Bow ties are cool.

Don't worry too much Cav, if you make any type of major misstep I'm sure we'll call you out on it. (still waiting as calmly as I can for whenever that entrance of mine is going to be mjh6... Sorry if I'm coming off as impatient.)
