Juniper steadies herself, locking eyes. She seems to be waiting for her moment, swapping the syringe from her prosthetic to her other hoof. Then, like a viper, the prosthetic arm lashes out, an the blunt metal tip feels like a hammer as it makes contact with one of your ribs. Juniper herself winces in pain at the strike, but otherwise remains silent.

Stepping outside, a familiar face catches your eye. Swallowtail, the Guard that questioned you earlier, is standing just down the hall, apparently speaking with someone just out of sight. He sees you, and quickly looks back at the pony he's speaking to.

Almost effortlessly, she wraps the chain around your hoof and pulls you to the ground with it, and then wraps it again very painfully around your neck. She sits on top of you, pinning you. Almost sadistically, she slowly readies the needle.

"No needle..." Sunburst whimpers, shaken by the reversal. Sunburst flounders against Juniper's pin. Finally she finds pruchase and-

You scramble, but it's a bit too late. Juniper is on you again, and she attempts to inject you- and she succeeds, burying the needle in your shoulder. Instantly, your vision gets a little hazy, but you are still standing- for now.

Juniper sees you, and hears you. In shock, she opens her mouth. She glances at the Pegasus, and then waves her hoof at you, and speaks in a hoarse, raspy voice. "Stay back, she's dangerous!" Then she goes back to circling the Pegasus, who looks woozy but about to attack.

Sunburst yelps as she's injected her brain getting that cottony feeling again, by reflex she leaps back, sending a gust toward Juniper buffeting her. That's when she saw another pony had turned to enter the room yelling, between that and her rapidly fogging mind, her spirit broke and Sunburst makes a beeline, or the best approximation she can manage, towards the door a base instincts to flee taking over.
- Combat::
[+3] Blowback – Standard Utility
Flip a coin for each enemy. If you win that flip, that enemy is dazed (save ends).
(My phone's dice roller doesn't have a d2 roller (for some reason) So for coin flips I am rolling a d4: 4,3 are successes (heads), 2,1 are failures (tails), if that's unacceptable let me know and I'll reroll).
