Evil Eye leaped into the air, flying above and then swooping back down on the swarm, wings spread wide and hooves filled with fury.

Storm Blade was getting a little... concerned with how Scales was acting in all honestly. It was rather creepy and off putting for one, and it wasn’t like how the dragon normally acted. Still, Storm Blade used what was offered, flying up to the lighting and gathering it all into his blade, focusing ice into it as well to unleash it at the crystal swarm in one large burst, arcing from crystal to crystal.

The charred crystals lying near Living Lightning briefly fizzled and popped, hitting him with a negligible burst of small shards. However, Acoustic and Supernova were hit by massive explosions from shattering crystals that hovered near them.

Living Lightning lets out a low snore, folding his tail over his nose. Out of his half-open mouth, a ball of lightning (similar to his earlier gift to Supernova) rolls out, wobbling for a moment before shooting at Acoustic and melting into his coat. "More Lit'nin. Mooooore Litning" He mutters in between snores, an almost handlike cloud extending from the stormscape to Storm Blade again as a few more crystals were jerked to the floor.

Evil Eye landed on the floor, pawed at the ground for a moment, then charged headlong towards the crystals, slamming into the nearest ones with force.

Supernova had to admit, for non-sentient crystals, they sure packed a punch. And as much as she wanted to keep whaling on it as hard as she could, in her heart, she knew what the group really needed. A heavy charge of draining energy in the cane, and then a light poke to deliver it.

Acoustic was thrown through the air quite a distance by the explosion, far enough to heal himself, Supernova and Living Lightning (a little bit) before impacting the ground hard enough to bury his head into the ground up to the neck.

Storm Blade decided it was best to just focus on doing what he could, and see if he could do anything with Living after the battle. For now, he just absorbed the lighting once more, and stuck out against the swarm. Ice and lighting erupting from his strike, scattering across the swarm, most likely freezing quite a few of them to weaken their next attack.

Once again there was a sharp whistling noise near Acoustic, Storm Blade, and Living Lightning. However, there was then a second whistle from the other sides of Acoustic and Living Lightning.

Living Lightning twitches an ear, His snores growing quieter. "Din'mok'us." He mutters quietly. Abruptly, a fist (or more precisely a clenched paw) of thundercloud descends from the stormscape, engulfing several crystals. After a brief rumbling, the crystals, stuck together in a magnetic ball, are ejected forcibly and roll to the edge of the arena. The paw then beckons Storm Blade with a claw.

"So, the attacks are going to become more frequent and more powerful as time ticks by, that explains the time-limit." Storm Blade observed as he flew up towards the giant hand of lighting, drawing it into his blade and mixing it with his powers of ice. "Luckily we have solid healing powers to lengthen the time-limit significantly." The guard continued as he swung his blade at the nearest crystal, having it erupt in another malestorm of ice and thunder, through it wasn't his strongest

Evil Eye was surprised that he hadn't been hit yet, but he wasn't willing to press his look - instead preferring to press the offensive. He took flight, before plowing full-force into a group of crystals.

Several crystals near Storm Blade suddenly turned grey and shattered harmlessly. However, several crystals near Acoustic and Living Lightning shone with dazzling brilliance until exploded in a fiery cataclysm that left lingering flames.

Living Lightning is engulfed in the explosion, but as it clears he seems to be lying in exactly the same position, snoring away. In the thundercloud, a few sparks of lightning seem to form feathers, and float down onto Acoustic's back with a pleasant crackling sound.

“Damnit... we only seem to be halfway through and their ramping us real fast.” Storm Blade half cursed, half observed, his concern growing as the explosions grew more and more powerful despite their attempts. Gritting his teeth, the pegasus guard dug in deep, drawing up as much energy as he could possible. The initial unleashing of lighting and ice was not impressive... but then the ice and lighting reacted together, creating an explosion which shattered the ice, sending a deadly hail through the crystal cluster, each time one of them smashed into a crystal, it let out a burst of lighting that arched to nearby crystals.

In the back of her mind, Supernova could feel Blackstar's strain in keeping up the constant assault.Don't be ridiculous, I'm fine, I'm already dead, while the rest of are are risk. he snapped.

Don't you be ridiculous. Supernova said calmly, preparing a smaller level of draining magic to the cane, before prodding the crystals again. You don't think we'll need you enough to spend a single turn resting?

Greatly dwindled, extant crystals floated closer. There was a sharp whistling noise near Acoustic, Supernova, and Living Lightning, a second whistle from the other sides of Evil Eye, Acoustic, and Living Lightning, and a third whistle in front of Living Lightning.

Now that Supernova felt a bit more rested,she knew it was time for one last, all or nothing attack. Time for us all to attack at once. Either this works... or we all die. she thought to both Gramps and herself as she twirled the cane absently. Well, no use dwelling on things.

With that last thought, she raised the cane, and set it ablaze, right before launching a storm of fire, light, and draining energy right towards the mass.

Living Lightning shivers a little in his sleep, as though having a bad dream, as the clouds above grow back to a proper size and extend down to Storm Blade, once again formless.

“Come on, come on.” Storm Blade urged himself, quickly flying up to Lighting’s storm cloud and absorbing the lighting, channeling through his body and sword to unleash upon the swarm of crystals... and this time the reaction was even more violent. Not only did the ice shatter into dangerous shards that shot out to smash into many different crystals, but the lighting continued to arch from crystal to shard to crystal, a wonderful and dangerous displaying of elemental powers that the guard was very pleased with.

After the last few crystals shattered, there was a brief silence. "It seems you won the bonus round." There was quite clearly annoyance in her voice. After another delay, the previous team was dropped into an open clearing. They seemed truly lost and confused about where they were.
