Living Lightning falls onto all fours as the walls stop pushing him, crackling and popping as the beam sweeps through him. "Ow." He says indifferently, narrowing his eyes. He suddenly leaps forwards, and for a moment a crackling ball of electricity shoots forward at high speed, coursing through the alicorn and depositing a solid dragon (with a shining tail full of electricity) on the other side. "Try harder!" He says impatiently, slapping her on the rump for good measure.

‘An alicorn? Great, just great, this mare is going to be a difficult challenge.’ Storm thought to himself as their new enemy emerged, a black beam of magic forcing him to dodge... but also left her vulnerable to a swift counter-attack, Storm noticing and approving of the fact that the newcomer, the dragon had the exact same idea as himself. Unfortunately, this distracted him so much that he only scored a very glancing blow.

After he reoriented himself, he noticed that the alicorn had summoned four crystal... things surrounding her, and shook his head, snapping out an firm order to the group. “If you have area of effect abilities, use them, but if not, focus the alicorn down.” Before he began to do just that, using his good-old reliable inverse lighting trick as he dashed past the alicorn once more, landing a solid blow on her body.

Apparently they had less time to rest than she thought. Guess the'd have to wait until the next fight Assuming we make it through this one. Supernova added absently, as the group was blasted with the dark energy. It took her a few seconds to get her balance afterwards, and she heard the responses of both the newcomer and Storm Blade clearly.

Upstart kid. Did he think we couldn't figure out who to fight without his say-so? i Blackstar grumbled as he focused is attention on the alicorn.

Supernova didn't feel the need to say anything, lazily lifting the cane, and blasted quickly.

Evil Eye grunted his acknowledgement of the royal guard's instructions. Coordination would be important in battle. For now, though, he was intending to strike at the alicorn anyway.

This new foe galled him. He thought there were only four alicorn princesses? What sort of upstart was this? Was illusion magic at play or did this creature have a secret technique for ascension?

He growled, his rage building, and charged the alicorn, but missed. Still, his rage never missed.

The unicorn was taken by surprise by changing rooms so when he was hit by the Alicorn's beam he grunted and fell back onto his back, where he started fiddling about with his guitar.

The crystal polygons floated forward and rotated. Then, each glowed a red light as one after the other as they fired a red beam at Evil Eye. The blasts lacked impact but instead stung like a swarm of fire ants from the deepest nightmare. As they returned to rest, the mare addressed Living Lighting,

"Insignificant lizard! I'll smite you where you stand!"

Powering up her horn, she fired a fierce blast of pulsating blackness through the dragon. Then, another crystal icosahedron was summoned to hover around her.

"Good luck with that." Living Lightning says dryly, acting very nonchalant as the beam hits his torso, scattering a large part of his stomach into bouncing bolts of lightning. As his chest reforms, he glances at the...unsettlingly angry pony that had charged in blindly, and runs over, vaulting onto his back. "I hope I don't regret this." He hisses in the batpony's ear. He swings his arm, and a cord of sparks extends from it, wrapping cleanly around the barrel of the Alicorn's chest. The cord seems to pulse, and Living Lightning pulses with it, limiting the energy running through the cord to doses that wouldn't kill the batpony. "Now go!" He says, jumping off and running away from the undoubtedly furious pony, the cord still lengthening in his hand.

Supernova was feeling a bit drained, so he settled for charging her cane with a small amount of weakening energy, before lightly jabbing the maybe-alicorn with it, discharging the energy into her.

"Hey, what about the rest of us? Are we insignificant too?"

Evil Eye snarled at the sensation of the beams. He was a bit... disconcerted when the dragon hopped into his back, but he was grateful for the surge in electricity that energized him. He grunted his acknowledgement and charged again at the alicorn, his rage strengthened by the incoming attacks. He rammed into the alicorn with a heavy impact, and felt a grim satisfaction as the force of his inertia and electricity was channeled into the alicorn.

“Smite him? What, does she think herself as a goddess?” Storm muttered with a snort, even as he took to alicorn’s attention on said lizard to land a decent blow on her as he slipped past her once more. He didn’t feel the need to pull his inverse lighting trick either, so instead he simply fully charged his blade to zap her. Though next strike was solid enough, the lightning didn’t discharge that well.

Making a sweeping motion with her head, a black beam cut a swath of magical energy across the field. It felt like a forceful blow from a pro wrestler but there was a subtle burning sensation where it struck.

"Yes, who in Luna's name are you, that I should care about your significance?" Evil Eye seethed, eager to unleash his fury, but he was drained from his previous assault. He stepped into a crouch, legs wide so-as to provide support, and gave the Alicorn his best death-glare...

Living Lightning is a little confused by what the notes were doing to him. The vibrations seemed to be...knitting him together more tightly? It was a very odd way to manipulate electromagnetism.
His reverie was interrupted when his right shoulder burst into bolts as the beam struck it. He regarded it quite passively, until he noticed the steady de-ionizing effect the wound had. It was harder than normal to reform. He shook his head and went back to running. "If your name is as bad as your coloring, I don't think I'll thank you for it." He quips, tossing out a second lightning whip, which wrapped around one of the icosahedrons. He pulled as hard as he could on it, hoping to swing it into the alicorn but missing by a wide margin. He turns sharply, and a paler Lightning Dragon splits off from him, running in the opposite direction carrying one of the whips.

The unicorn was blown backwards by the blast, causing the song to be interrupted for a second.
"Okay, let's do it! Disc M! Switch on!"
He sat up, pulled out the disc again and inserted it again. This time the solo had lyrics accompanying it as it he slid on his knees playing the guitar.

“Personally I don’t care. She’s just going down.” Storm Blade said, as he weathered the wide attack. The guard unable to strike out at the alicorn during her attacks. Instead, he simply waited until she was done and landed a powerful, solid blow onto her, whilst his lighting was changed to weaken her next strike.

Supernova just shrugged. Maybe changing tactics would be a good idea. She knelt deeply. "I just wanted to know the name of such a venerable goddess as yourself. Please indulge you humble servant." Supernova said, holding out her cane as though offering up a tribute, while "accidentally" stumbling forward and jabbing her with it.

Both Dragons suddenly disappear, melting into whips and racing towards the ensnared foes. The pale remnant melts into the dark alicorn, soaking into her with a crackle. The original, meanwhile, reforms on the icosahedron, digging in with his claws and giving it a solid bite. He grins as he feels it shudder beneath him, and jumps off, swinging the freed whip to wrap around another Icosahedron. After a wholly ungraceful landing, he swings the pulsating whip, sending the other icosahedron flying at the alicorn. "Something that stupid wouldn't have worked on the trollop!" He shouts, picking himself up and dusting himself off.

Evil Eye snarled and launched himself up into the air, his hatred boiling over. "HOW-" -He flew hard towards the alicorn- "-DARE-" -He slammed hard into her with a flying kick, simultaneously rebounding off her- "-YOU-" -he arced around in flight and rammed into his foe again- "-CALL-" -And again- "-LUNA-" -And again- "-THAT!" He finished his combo with a skyward thrust, before spinning and kicking sharply downwards in a drill kick. As it connected, his legs nearly buckling, he rebounded off of her and slammed into an icosahedron, before bouncing into another, and another.

Storm Blade couldn’t really agree with the Night Guard’s hateful, anger filled fighting style. Believing that guards need to be rational and in controlled, not furious berserkers that just charge into battle. Still, it did seem effective in doing damage, where Storm had a bit more utility and survivability it seemed.

The pegasus struck at the alicorn when she was targeting the dragon, and as no attacks had been directed at him, quickly struck again with a solid blow and a zap of lighting, Storm Blade knowing that whilst he wasn’t as impressive as some of the others, he was consistent with his strikes.

The mare buckled under the assault from Evil Eye. Swiftly flying backwards, she sneered but attempted to retain a defiant composure,

"Would you prefer I call the sun princess an incompetent cow? No matter. The actions of one shall the suffering of many!"

With that answer, Supernova struggled back to her feet and shrugged. "If you say so." she said in that calm tone that drove some ponies crazy. She never cared about getting into silly arguments, and for some reason, that annoyed them when she reacted to their flailing with indifference. As she said this, she and her grandfather filled the cane with an an-earthly power, one that completely drained those she targeted with it. Then, deliberately slow, she reached out and just poked her with it
