Emerald heaves a sigh of relief as he stepped out. 'Well... That went excellently. Now the important bit.' She kept an ear up and perked, to hear what might be going on. At the same time, she scanned the room, checking if there were any other exits, like windows or their ilk. Any aperture would do, really.

No such luck. Two stalls, a sink and a mirror. The only way in and out is the door, behind which there just so happens to be the making of a bar fight.

Dodger:
The colt's eyes go wide as you point out the other stallion, who is now looking at the two of you curiously. "The colt looks back and forth between you and the other guy, before running off and up to him, leaving you free and clear. The fact that he had just seen you leave the building that the costumed pony entered, and the other stallion was just passing by, was completely ignored.

HS:
Following the trail takes you on a twisting, roundabout route through a few neighborhoods. A few gaps here and there force you to double back once or twice, but you manage to keep on it.

As Jaquir scrambled to his feet, he saw that his crossbow had a huge, ugly scratch where it had slammed against a nail.
" You damaged my crossbow. You damaged my crossbow!" He drew in a huge breath.

Jaquir kicked the one who went for the bartender in the back of the knee, knocking him into the one who did the jabbing thing, sending them reeling.

Stallion C goes for Pegasus 4's legs, knocking him to the floor, hard.
The Bartender swings at Pegasus 7, who dodges the blow.
Pegasus 6 snakes his way in between you and Stallion A, and knocks your heads together: Jaquir takes 2 damage.
Pegasus 7 rams Stallion B, but glances off of him slightly.
Stallion A spins and hits Pegasus 4, fresh off the ground.
Stallion B joins the other two, bucking Pegasus 4 into Pegasus 3.
Pegasus 1 jumps on Stallion C and swipes at him.
Pegasus 3 retreats from the brawl for a moment, choosing his moment.
Pegasus 4 barely manages to stand, but lunges at you, weakly kicking at him: Jaquir takes 1 damage, Jaquir loses 1 PiP

Turn 2
The gang's leader arrives from the restroom, looking over the sudden mess. He flies at the bartender, grappling with him.
Pegasus 5 spots his noncombatant teammate, and directs him at Jaquir.
Pegasus 2 repeats his earlier move, this time on Jaquir and Stallion B: Jaquir takes 1 damage.

Stallion C bullrushes Pegasus 3, knocking him into a table.
The Bartender headbutts and then gutshots the Griffon.
Pegasus 6 picks up and throws a chair, hitting Stallions A and C.
Pegasus 7 delivers a hoof across Jaquir's face: Jaquir takes 6 damage, loses 1 PiP.
Stallion A lends you a hand, giving you a brief respite: Jaquir gains 2 PiPs.
Stallion B hits Pegasus 7, who snaps back and hits the Griffon.
Pegasus 1 goes low, jabbing the Bartender in the chest.
Pegasus 3 seizes his moment and delivers a painful blow to you while your back is turned: Jaquir takes 6 damage, suffers vulnerability 3 (save ends).
Pegasus 4, still woozy, goes after the bartender with a chair leg.

The Griffon ducks and grabs the bartender, pinning him.
Pegasus 5 puts Stallion A in a headlock.

Emerald sighs. Truly, there was only the two ways out of this, and one was pretty cowardly. It sure sounded rough out there. Chaos she orchestrated. It would only do to watch it over, and make sure that the plan came to full fruition. She creaked open the door to see the lines of fire and what was going on.

She edges out a bit, to take in this show and also, to make sure nopony gets hurt unnecessarily. Indeed, it was chaos. Undefined, hard-to-describe chaos, where not even injury was clear, it seemed a lot of ducking and jumping about. She would need to take a second to understand where best to act.

Jaquir, scraped, bashed and dazed, decided that enough was enough, and that it was time to stop playing nice. He pointed his crossbow at one of the villains and loosed a shot at his arm, pining him with a brutal length of steel and wood.

The pegasus Jaquir is aiming at turns suddenly, causing the bolt to penetrate a soft spot near his shoulder, and severs an artery. The Pegasus is pinned to the wall, and the shock and severe pain cause him to pass out instantly. A few moment's later, trauma and blood loss take their toll.
Pegasus 5 is dead.

Stallion C yells some encouragement to Jaquir, unbeknownst that he has just killed somepony: Jaquir gains 3 pips.
Emerald's turn: Setting the Stage
The Bartender shakes the Griffon, and uses the opportunity to grab a bottle and throw it at Pegasus 3. Shards of glass hit Pegasi 1 and 4.
Pegasus 6 attempts to tackle Jaquir, hitting Stallion A as well: Jaquir takes 2 damage.
Pegasus 7 helps Pegasus 6 pick himself up.
Stallion A kicks back at Pegasus 6, barely swiping him.
Stallion B strikes at the Griffon and Pegasus 2.
Pegasus 1 spots Emerald watching nearby, and pounces on her: Emerald takes 3 damage.
Pegasus 3, having witnessed Jaquir kill his friend, starts kicks him twice in the side. Jaquir takes 5 damage.
Pegasus 4 finally succumbs to his dizziness, and falls to the floor. Pegasus 4 is Unconscious.

Turn 4
Smokes finally reaches the end of Jaquir's trail- the Salted Hoof. Convenient. As you go to open the door, you hear loud crashes and yelling coming from inside. Throwing open the door and rushing in, you fin a complete mess has been made of the bar, and a full on brawl is underway.
Perception: 18+11= 29
You spot Jaquir first. he's in pretty bad shape, duking it out with a pegasus. You also recognize the bartender, also in pretty bad shape, who seems to be squaring off with another Griffon you don't recognize. It's hard to gauge who is on who's team.

The Griffon flies at the bartender, talons at the ready. The bartender swiftly ducks and kicks him away, knocking him into Stallion B. Both of them crash to the ground, but the Griffon stays down: The Griffon is Unconscious.

Jaquir used the Pegasi's grief to his advantage, bringing round the butt of his crossbow and whacking it against his face, before kicking him where it hurts and smacking his left fist into the ponies nose.
"The bastards took some unicorn hostage," he called out to the unexpected arrival of Holy Smokes.

"...That would be me." Emerald calls out from her far side, looking annoyed at the pegasus that jumped her. "They can't even get torturing an innocent mare right. Thank you for the assist, it means a lot."

She glares at the pony atop her, and creates her telepathic connection. It's only a few moments to fill his mind with nightmarish forms pushing and stretching at his inner psyche. At the same time, she does similarly to the griffon: He would not be allowed to rest in peaceful unconsciousness, that was too good. Force the mind open instead. Scenes and sensations of being on heavy drug withdrawal, of having wings ripped out with rusted barbecue tongs, of their lungs filling with water, being skinned alive to make cupcakes, falling into heavy machinery and being grinded into paste... She rapid-fired all the common phobias directly into their skulls. It was sure at least one of them would stick.

Holy Smokes gets up, and now that he can more or less tell who is attacking who, he conjures a whip of flame from his horn and whips it through each of the enemies in turn, letting the whip break off and coil itself around the last target.

Emerald lists a bit, shaking her head. Her legs went out from under her. She groans, her one leg went numb from the impact, one eye blurry. The lightheadedness, the sudden trauma creating an adrenaline rush that made her entire being start to feel... sparkly. The heavy pegasus stallion body pressing in on her. Another earth stallion standing at his side, touching her, waiting his turn. Her head wasn't right. She was bleeding. Fight or flight was in full gear, but hooves were on her croup, she couldn't back up. He was pinning her. He wouldn't get the chance. Nopony would. She was done that life, and nopony would drag her back in it, having her vision or not. "Go away! Go away! I swear in the Nightmare's name I'll kill you if you don't! Get off! Go AWAY!"

Magic flowed about her, coalescing. Sight was but one illusion, albeit the most common. Aural, olfactory, tactile, there were plenty of other forms, far more complicated, far more dangerous. Even merely sight was the bending and manipulating of light itself into a quasi-physical form. It actually took deep reservoirs of magic to be a good illusionist: Superheating the air into combustion for a fireball was simple, but making everypony believe there was a fireball, bending light to reflect its rays, adjusting minds to feel its heat, it was far, far more complicated, and needed much more magic. Emerald's noble history of casters left her more than well enough of a magical reservoir, and she wasn't exactly in the right mind, instead, she was just letting out her magic in as much output as quickly as possible to remove the threat in whatever way was possible.

[Summoning Non-Euclidean Phobia ("Fire Giant")] 6 hp, 0 pips.

Tendrils of magic arose from the floor, formless yet with clear form, shifting from sense to sense, one minute being a physical tentacle, the next just the smell of burning flesh, but the force behind it was quite jarring as it madly lashed out in random directions, inflicting trauma upon all five senses wherever it struck, scrambling the brain.
