Question: Does Resist offset Ongoing Damage? Ponytales core book definitions provided for reference.

I believe resist does offset ongoing...

It offsets on your turn, when the damage would be inflicted. However, you still count as suffering from a save ends, and have to roll to get rid of it.

So Ruby could have up to 3 Ongoing Damage without her Immature Taunting losing its bonus 2 pips, then? Trying to work that one out. Either way, to combat!

So wait, did they all redirect her attack, or did they all take 6 damage and then blind us? Because a damage redirect AND a blind that doesn't end after one turn is pretty damn powerful. Like, d10 or higher special move powerful.

which is the blinding? So they still took the damage, not Handle? Or what?

I think it went like this:

Handle's Turn:

-Handle uses Fireball on Soldier 2.

-The Soldiers 1 through 3 have a "Vengeance Is Mine", and all 3 activate it. The DM ignores that its a Reaction and treats it as a Trigger instead for dramatic purposes.

-Then the Soldiers have their turns, and use their Flash-bangs to blind 2 targets.

EDIT: Also, if two players would go in a row, just say so, I think, for speediness, in the initiative count. I doubt our actions will change much from Ruby to Chain Link as Chain Link to Ruby (in example).

If I might make a request- someone hit one of them with a save-ends effect by the end of next turn.

I brought no save-ends, sorry! I assumed it to be a mook battle so I came differently prepared...

What kind of save ends? I've got vulnerability and ongoing damage. I was thinking of making use of the vulnerability to hit one of the troopers for massive damage but I could just as easily (unless they beat me down first) give two weakness and ongoing damage.

Personal preference, so long as its save ends. If at all possible, hold it til next turn so they have as few chances to save as possible.

It's alright. In online D&D games it was traditionally one post per day, I'm used to waiting (though I still suggest posting the Initiative Order openly so repeating players can post at once).
