"Not quite. Pressure should not be mush of an issue unless we need to descend below the maximum depths of about three hundred meters. The suit will also protect you from most of physiological dangers normally found with diving but if the suit ruptures you need to get onto the submersible as soon as possible or the consequences will be dire. Due to the composition of the suit your motions will be restricted and you will have to walk along the bottom however fortunately you need no skill in swimming and we may use the submersible should we encounter a ridge or somesuch that would be impassible."

"Seems rather inefficient if you ask me." Gearick said, giving the equipment a few pods and pokes. "I mean, the ocean is a 3D environment, if your going to go into it, you'll want to move around it is. Especially when attempting to explore something that's underwater. I just need to check if there are any enchantments on these at all, as considering the quality of equipment the keep has provided so far, they surely won't give us something so... bad as these."

Focusing his magic, the unicorn began to scan the equipment presented before them, looking for any enchaments on them, or any signs of magic at all for that matter.

As the spellcasting unicorn searched the equipment, he found that the seals and seams on all of the equipment was magically reinforced with a subtle enchantment. Silver Swirl interjected, "These are secure for up to 2 kilometers. I've...personally tested that fact. The older design deters thieves since they don't know the extra precautions added to make them more durable."

"That does make sense." Gearick admitted, older designs were a lot less valuable, and most thieves didn't have the time or resources to scan the suits for magical enchantments... and he doubted that many would believe them if they said they where magical either, then again, he supposed if their fence was a unicorn... "Would be nice if there was more powerful enchantments, but I suppose you can't do everything... maybe I could see if I could add an enchantment on the way there... having adjustable bouncy or just greater mobility in general would be very useful."

Silver Swirl began to write several glowing notes in the air with her horn. "This is the spell I used to seal the suits. It's a spell that's oddly simple and complex at the same time. Think of...lines becoming bubbles. We should be coming to the island's prior location shortly so if you were going to do anything, better do it now before we suit up. I'm just a little worried about what you said about Spectral Degredation."

"You and me both Princess." Gearick said, taking the notes and studying them carefully. "I wish I managed to do more research on it." Gearick decided NOT to discus any bad feelings he potentially had, knowing that life loved screwing people over. Once he had studied the notes, Gearick began his work on adding another layer onto the enchantment.

The mystical mage could feel the interaction as the extra layer of protection was added to each suit. Subsequently, each suit felt just a little bit lighter as the spell was cast. Meanwhile, the blimp came to a stop as it had been slowing and lowering for a bit. Open ocean as far as the eye could see without anything indistinguishable about any of it. Muse nervously stared into the ocean, "I believe we're here."

"We are going underwater." Gearick said, as he carefully and slowly put on his own diving suit. "And Underwater is the deadliest natural location on the planet. Being as careful as possible is how one should always be."

Grease crawls into his suit and slowly stands up, trying to keep his head upright and balanced. "Now that the warnings are out of the way, we're going underwater! We'll probably see creatures that have never been seen before! No one explores down here! We're making history! Now if I can just avoid shocking everything every time I get an idea, our minds will be blown."

"Grease, if we really were 'making history'. We wouldn't have specialized suits for diving. I wouldn't of complained that said suits where rather dated, and the Keep wouldn't have a specialized underwater team." Gearick listed in short order, as he finished putting on the diving suits. Already feeling uncomfortable with it completely encasing him.

"You have no idea what's at the bottom of the ocean, do you? That's because nobody does! There's too much stuff down there for us to not make history while diving." Grease chuckles as he listened to his voice vibrating around the helmet.

The large Minotaur nods at the small Dragon. "He does have a point most deep sea areas are still relatively unexplored and we are conducting an investigation into a sunken temple."

"I disagree. Its mainly the trenches of the ocean that are unexplored. With communication with the sea ponies, uncommon but established as it is. Most of the underwater world has been mapped." Gearick said, even as he looked down into the ocean, preparing himself for the drop... or the jump. Whichever phase worked best.

"Considering no one knew this was here, I'm sure there's plenty that's unexplored in the parts of the ocean farther from the mainland. There's plenty on land we haven't discovered. Still, we can't wait around considering what's at stake." With that, Silver Swirl leaped into the water with Muse suited up and warily watching on.

'Well, we didn't know what the temple was, but I wouldn't be surprised if the location was known but not thought much of.' Gearick said mentally to everyone as he stepped of the blimp. Using the talking to focus on something that wasn't his fear.

With Muse leaping into the water and the support team lowering the submersible, the brave divers started to submerge. Gearick's extra modifications helped keep the suits tight as a drum while Silver Swirl pulled the submersible along with her telekinesis. After a long descent, they soon touched bottom. The submersible's lighting cast a dim glow over the ocean's floor but viewing distance was limited. However, there seemed to be a faint red glow in the distance.

Grease squints at the glow, annoyed that his darkvision was inneffective against the silt in the water. His vision was improved, but not by much. "Wasn't the island flashing red as it started to sink?" He says, before realizing that the others probably can't hear him.

'The temple went red before it sank, so I think that's where we need to go' Gearick said to everyone telepathically, glad that he had decided to master this magic as it was proving to be extremely useful currently. 'Still, its best to double check', not having that good eyes, the unicorn instead stretched out with his magical senses to try and scan the source of red light

With his magical might, Gearick was able to get a lock on the light's position. Acting as a compass for the general directions while Grease was able to lend a little bit of assistance in viewing nearby obstacles in the ocean's darkness, the group slowly progressed forward until they came to an arcing tunnel entrance with red light illuminating its position. The arc seemed to be designed in a way that formed a natural air pocket for the passageways inside. Muse quickly scrambled into the dry area and struggled to remove her suit.

Fields takes a look at the archway as he takes off the most restrictive parts of the suit. "This architecture is rather interesting it seems to indicate that the temple was intended to be submerged although this is also a tad troubling depending on how and when the bubble formed the air supply might be limited and that griffon and his group might still be down here."
