[Game] Satisfying Values

"Do we get to hit things?" Question Mark asked then noticed the guide had already left. "No... I'd guess not... That seems like something far off from now..."

Rose's pony is already headed off toward what she believes to be the most densely planted area in town, the orchard, with a skip in her trot.

APC has his pony follow Rose's pony's lead...

"Well, I guess we're going this way if we don't want to split up..." The blue unicorn said, following them.

"Don't you know, you never split the party?" Pink Pegasus singsongs to herself as she joins along. She stops after a second, though. "Actually... Hmm... Going to make it my own way, feel free to flag me down if you see me around... Apparently there's a lot more red-maned black ponies than I thought, I kinda stand out in these pastels."

So saying, Pink Pegasus takes off the cliff-face... And falls a good 20 metres before getting her wings working, shakily flying up the side of the town, swerving a bit, mumbling something under her breath about horse birds. Her goal, of course, was old Bungee's NPCs shop. She was all caught up in merry-makng that her controller forgot to ask about a proper tutorial.

The white pony stares after the pastel pegasus, glancing at the others. "Yeah, gonna hang with her for a bit. Check ya later at... How about back here?" He flaps his wings and flies after her quickly.

"Pegasus flying party? I'm there!" Valk takes off into the air and fans out her wings, gliding over towards the pink pony and fat pony that really needed names.

"It's a bit odd, flying in this thing, but apparently we're better at this six limbs thing than we thought." she comments, circling with apparent ease, "It's... really hard to describe. Like being held up by balloons."

"Well if we didn't have the chairs it'd probably be easier. I think it's a toggle for 'flying' and 'walking'." Mic nods, happy that they were semi-away from the other ponies so he could talk as himself rather than he-who-must-be-named. "Whereas you and I need to account for, well, not having the wings. I'm primarily feeling it like that 'ghost-limb-syndrome'. It's weird, but cool!"

"We're in an MMO, not a tabletop game..." Question Mark comments with a good chuckle.

Pink's flight stutters a bit. "Uhm, I think you might be wrong there. I've only got two tappers, this needs a lot of coordination with the x, y, and z axes and only two controlled at the same time."

When Rose's pony got to the orchard, she looked around. "I woner if there are any pnoies to talk to way out here? Unless these trees are just for decoration or something. That would be boring." She looks at the blue pony with her. "What do you think?"

The PCs entering the local orchard find it unusually close to the inhabited parts of town. They can still hear the hubbub of the town, but it is very muted. At a closer look, the trees appear to be Olive, and bearing large, fat fruits. "Ello thar," sounds a voice from around the corner. A unicorn trots around some trees with a watering can in his magical grip. "Come to see my trees? I'm Olive Branch, and these are my babies. Only a hobby, but they keep me busy."

Across and up(literally) town, the other PCs reach Bungie's place, clearly marked by ropes of many lengths and elasticity. "Hey, here already? Come in for some tea!"

"Yeah... Kinda... Mostly just got into town with a group... Saw, uh, what's her name here heading off... Felt she'd be better with somepony just in case..." Question Mark comments, APC meaning all of those words even saying "somepony" like any brony would do in this game. "So... If this is a hobby, what you do for a living?"

"I... We'd love to!" Pink declares to Bungie, coming into the building. "I just had a bit of a silly question I forgot to ask earlier, if you don't mind."

Mic nods and grins over to the earth pony. "Sure good at whatcha do! I'll take some black tea with cream and sugar if you don't mind."

Olive branch grins widely. "Royal diplomat! I keep the Crown notified of local dragon activities, and act as liaison for Her Majesty's interests with them. I'm pretty well connected, wouldn't you say?"

Bungie returns shortly with a tea set that looks to be made for little girls. "Don't joke, these were my Grandam's." He pours some hot tea and lets the party sort the rest out for themselves after they settle. "So what can I do ya for? Already getting confused by Equestria or is it something else?"

'Can you teach us how to do things? No... That's out of character. Give us a tutorial? Naw, that's blatant not-rping. Oh!' "I think I speak for all of us when I say we'd like to know how things work in this neck of the woods?" The white pegasus tilts his head, tucking his wings up to his sides as he looks at the tea.

"Wow, a royal diplomat? I think I would rather just live off what I can from selling the fruits of this orchard!" She blinks. "W-wait, did you say dragons?"

Pink Pegasus rolls her eyes. "We're new here, is I think what he wants to say."

She tries to use the tea. "I think the tea set is beautiful by the by. And so since we're new, I wanted to know if an experienced veteran here like you knows how I can make a name for myself, since I'm still pretty green... Or my hair is, at least."

The Blue Earth Pony in a Purple Vest and a black mustache grins. "Oh... That sounds like an awesome job... I'd love to meet both these Dragons and her Royal Highness..."

"Yes! We wish to knøw høw we might make a name for ourselves in this reälm!" adds Valk, returning to the overblown viking voice, "And dø yöu have meäd?"

"Well, I could introduce you to a dragon if you wish. They're a pretty ornery bunch, but it'll be interesting nonetheless! And do you mean to say that you'll be visiting the Princess soon? I got word that some ponies might come by who need to see her, is that you?" Olive hits Al's pony in the shoulder, and he can see the avatar stumble from the good-hearted blow. "Before you go, though, you should probably stop by the Armoury for self-defense lessons. Thar be diamond dogs in them thar hills," he says with a growl, then lets out a deep laugh.

"Well, there lots of ponies around town who might want help with something or other. There's apothecaries and smiths and Luna knows what out there. All I can do is help you with climbing and jumping off cliffs safely." Bungie thnks at that. "Oh hey! I could give you some rope for that! Oh, you'll need saddlebags to carry it in! And-" He runs off and starts gathering various items around the store.

When he finishes his mad dance of cargo and sacks, he comes back to the party with six saddlebag-harnesses. "Here, this stuff should keep you safe in the mountains whatever your looking for.

APC's blue earth pony grins, shakes, then fires upwards like a rocket... "HAPPY-GO-FUN-TIMES!" The Pony deglares as it lands. "TELL ME HOW TO GET TO THIS ARMOURY PLACE! I'll go meet-e a dragon laters... COMBAT-TIMES IS SO NOW!"

White Pegasus moves to put the saddlebag on, carefully making sure it's on without covering his wings. "So apothecaries, Smithies, other shops. Righto." he grins for a moment, drinking the tea in front of him after putting milk and 3 spoons of sugar in it.
