Taking into account his previous fights, Sky Wolf changed how he worked his magic, learning how to make it more efficent, as well as the magic to linger on as a shield to his allies instead of just healing them, though such a shield would only work on a single target. Focusing his magic to Diamond, he not only gave him the shield, but also gave him a boost of energy, smaller than his previous ones, so it wouldn't allow him to take more actions, but make his next action more powerful.

Diamond Dust noticed the familiar surge of energy wash over him, activating his new , more powerful protective vest. It seemed to be working, since the lightening seemed to bounce off him. Diamond Dust didn't want to waste any more time, so he tried something a bit different: charging up his magic, and then letting it go in a small burst.

As the brawl rages in the background, the minotaur charged Diamond Dust. However, his salvo of blows fell soft as the magic burst did its job. Letting out an annoyed snort, he looked Diamond Dust up and down. Meanwhile, Tipsy Tulip walked into the back room with the guard quietly sneaking behind.

"They were our allies in the war. They helped battle Tirek's forces but then they simply disappeared." "I think I remember hearing about an ally from the war named Butterfly Island. You were right, this feels less and less like coincidence."

Sky Wolf frowned as Tulip headed for the back, as it would make it harder for him to support the guard... if at all. He began to follow after them, but unfortunately got hit by the lighting twice for his troubles. Diamond Dust was currently uninjured and was handling himself pretty well, so the pegasus quickly healed himself instead, knowing he had to stay healthy to support his allies.

Diamond Dust managed to catch Sky Wolf heading off out of the corner of his eye. He considered following, but it probably wouldn't be a good idea to turn his back to this minotaur just yet. Hopefully, he could take the guy out quickly, then assist Sky afterwards. For the moment , he taunted the minotaur, " That's really the best you can do? Bummer.", before ramming back into him.

The minotaur threw another blow with reduced impact. Meanwhile, the other minotaur got up and started to walk off. "I'm out."
"WHAT?"
"We had a good run but I'm out."
The minotaur glanced at Diamond Dust, "Um...you wait right there." Then he dashed off.

Diamond Dust stood there in surprise for a moment, as the Minotaur just walked away, but he wasn't going to complain.Dust had more important things to do. He turned and went to join Sky Wolf to help catch Tipsy.

In the back room, the guard crept closer and closer to Tipsy Tulip until getting close enough to attack. Pulling out a concealed needle, he pounced and injected the toxin only to be reflexively thrown off. "mY mY. i'M dIsappointed yOu tHink i'D bE aN eAsy tArget aFter aLl mY yEars iN tHe bUsiness. aT lEast yOu sPrung fOr tHe rEally gOod sEdatives. iS tHat tHe bEst yOu've gOT?" She then gleefully kicks the disguised guard but he blocks the blow.

Sky Wolf had managed to get to the door to the backroom before the two minotaurs decided it was time to leave. Well, one did and the other followed. The pegasus wasn't all that concerned about them however, and was more focused on Tipsy Tulip, as he had suspected, it was going to be rather... difficult to overpower and subdue the earth pony. Hopefully they'll be able to extract their target before the guards arrived to start ripping the machine apart.

As Ancient Record returned to the cavern and placed the figurine on the pedestal, nothing happened. Then a familiar voice spoke, "So we meet again, great recorder of the ancient. Shall we meet?"

In order to stop the Tipsy as quickly as possible, Sky Wolf sent a big burst of energy Diamond's way, allowing him to move in to assist the other guard ASAP. The pegasus then gathered together the remnants of said energy and sent it towards said guard, healing any wounds and forming a shield around him... during the formation of said shield, Sky Wolf was hit with a magic surge which washing over everyone.

Diamond Dust rushed into the room, and saw Tispy Tulip. If he had been more on top of things, he would have gone for Tulip like they were supposed to. Trying to make up for lost time, Dust immediately went fr his most powerful attack: a concentrated telekinetic blast. Feeling energized by sky Wolf's assists, he went on and slammed her into the walls and floor for good measure, before drawing back to try and conserve what power he had left.

Tipsy Tulip gave a brief whimper in response to the powerful blast. However, she retaliated with a fierce hoof blow to Diamond Dust's horn. With great madness in her eyes, she shrieked, "nOw tHe fUn ReALLY bEgins!". Flipping one of the tulips from behind her ear and into the air, it exploded into a suffocating powder. She then slammed her hooves down on the floor. The whole building spun until coming to an abrupt stop.

Diamond Dust resisted the urge to cry out, even if the horn was a really painful place to get hit. Instead, he managed to head butt her back before the combination of the powder, the room spinning, and a stay bolt of lightning forced him to his knees briefly. But Dust managed to get back on his hooves, although not as quickly as he would like.

Sky Wolf let out a cough as the mech spun around, spreading powder across the entire room, the pegasus sure that brawl in the main room was also going to be affected by it. However, he didn’t let this affect him to much. He knew that with his current state of mind, he wouldn’t be able to do his usual burst of energy, even though he knew he could... so instead he just focused his magic towards Diamond, healing his wounds and giving him a faint magical shield to protect him from further damage.

Dust was relieved to feel Sky Wolf's weird magic again. with that burst, he was already feeling better( although not quite all better; that weird powder was still making it hard to breathe) For the moment, Diamond Dust focused on conserving his energy, and waited for Tipsy's next move.

All is silent in the courtyard. Then, Ancient Record hears an echoing gallop coming from a distance away. Then suddenly in front of him stands a titanic equine entity of metal. It harshly looks down upon him yet there is no malice in its eyes. The guards stand ready but have not attacked.

Castle OOC:

The guard and nearly everyone in the building chokes on the dust as they struggle to breathe. After wincing in recoil of a lightning strike, Tipsy Tulip cracks her neck and eyes Diamond Dust as she starts walking backwards in an uneven stride. "yOu're sTronger tHan yOu lOok. aRe yOu sMarter?" Meanwhile, Sky Wolf hears a wheezing voice behind him...

"I TOLD HIM NOT TO MOVE! YOU TELL ME WHERE HE IS OR I'LL TAKE IT OUT ON YOU!"

A little scared by the machine, it wasn't being killed by stratodons over and over, but it was still big, Ancient stepped forward. "Hello. I presume you are part of Horsetron."
