I never said that there wouldn't be any mind control, it's just not something that Discord throws at somepony unless other methods wont work *cough* Fluttershy*cough*. Because it's more fun that way. I can promise you that I'll try to be as fair as possible if the subject comes up. For one thing, Marked gets two shots to break it every day, and always knows when it's happening.

I also can neither confirm nor deny the existence of traps, but since Sunlit just decided to fly into a cloud of chaos without prompting, who knows what'll happen.

May I do an athletics and then an endurance check to try and protect Midas?

Well, in regards to Marked not getting hurt, he was expecting that. I kind of imagine all the chaos around Marked, while he just stands there braced for a hit that isn't coming in his little bubble. This is one of the reasons I have trouble with slapstick when written down, it's harder to convey.

"Hurt" in this context would be loss of life or fatal damage... Anything was minor enough to not do any real damage isn't harm but just a bit of comedy.

Well, Sunlit landed on his tail, and Sunlit is made of metal now. Plus, after Sunlit crashed through the pianos, Marked ended up covered in pie and splinters like Steel.

Right, and he did take damage. not much, but some. Plus he got the second highest endurance roll.

Also... Marked is from Laughter... HE DOESN'T BUCKING CARE... There isn't much Discord could DO to his home or even himself that he hasn't likely already had done to him that he'd use just to snark at him SOME MORE! I like picture there being people who are so skilled in the craft of joke-making they got like half-discord's power... They don't got stronger then he does. But they never seem to work well together nor do they really care much to FIGHT discord... They just don't see what the joke would be in doing such a thing. If The Realm of Laughter wanted, I picture they could've freeded the six realms ALREADY... But Discordy is crafty enough to make his rep there and them unaware of how things are in the other five realms that they don't care and are focused on their own humor and funtimes.

Well, he could kill Marked. Then Marked wouldn't be able to snark. Sure you could argue about how that wouldn't prove anything to Marked, but Discord could, you know, theoretically. Just observing.
