Greasy Spoon shook his head. "Most recent is that vigilante, and can I say that I hate him? Sure, he's taking out the lawless, which sounds good on paper, but it turns out half my customers are lawless and many of the rest don't want to stay here with potentially lawless people... or the vigilante."

Hah," Spoon said bitterly. "Not even close. He brought his own workers and is paying for them all to stay at the Mareiot. I'd happily kick Gold Coin out, too."

Zebulon takes his bar and starts cleaning Greasy Spoon's spit off, all the while thinking on what he knows. If there's no coal in the mine, could Gold Coin be mining for something else... or if there's nothing, why keep mining? The coal is clearly an excuse to keep the mine there... Whatever was in there was clearly of interest, even if the roaches confirmed a different location.

Sorry guys, didn't have much time to post in the previous days.

Dextor, seeing how Zebulon and Cheese Wheel and Blackhawk were preoccupied with the receptionist, quietly moved over to Barabus and tapped him on the shoulder. Or so he would do but as he was about yeh high, he tapped him on the knee instead.

"Uhm... Barabus sir... field commander... or whatever I should call you." Dextor started as he grinded his foot into the sand. "I actually got something to tell you. Can we go somewhere private?"

Zebulon couldn't help but smile. Finally, some recognition for his skills - usually the patients are screaming at him and calling him a barbarian because he can't afford decent anesthesia.

Blackhawk followed along wordlessly, taking slow and deep breaths. His wings unfurled slightly as he walked out the door, but then reclamped to his sides again as he shivered slightly, breathing in the nighttime air.

"And there you go," he said. "Consummate actor, that's me. Alright. Right. So, now then, uh...boss," he actually managed to chuckle a bit, despite the recovery process. "Where we headin' to next?"
