Well its a good thing you three decided to go together, because that update was not going to be changed once it was posted.

What is it with you guys and my disguises? HS for some reason autocritted and effortly recognised the nondescript figure in a full-body cloak as a minor aqquaintance he literally has known for an hour or so. I'm not saying he shouldn't know - Jaquir would have talked to him - but rather the lack of caring about the efforts to avoid incrimination





Also we're casually ignoring messy dead bodies now, which is badass.

Oh, sorry about that, I honestly just forgot. Though to be fair, the bartender identified you before I could even say anything (and he pretty much took my lines too). Also "a griffon with doctors" is sorta a dead giveaway.

If your mate, wearing a very striking, distinctive outfit went to find doctors because someone was hacking up guts, and then doctors came, along with someone who looked different and was wearing a garment that obscured pretty much everything about them, would you instantly assume, just from the sight of the figure, that it was them?

Seems rather mean, to assume that someone would spend the time to completely change outfits when there are wounded to treat. Clearly the real Jaq is catching his breath at the hospital from flying full-speed all the way there.

Well, then you should start rolling stealth checks and declaring your intention to remain unrecognized. Because I didn't realize that's what you were going for.

Sorry, forgot to put my roll up - but I thought putting on a cloak that made me look exactly the same as every other pony-sized quadruped was enough to declare stealth.

And the roll was 12 + 7 = 19, plus any circumstantial bonuses for any reason, otherwise 19

And even if you'd failed, Jaquir would have let you know it was him. It's the NPCs he's disguising from.

elfgirl, shall Emma react to Star first, or should Star react first? Emerald DID kind of send Star on a huge wild goose chase (even if you did get the goose in the end).

I think it'd be make more sense for Emma to react first.

...I'm amused at the "party magnet" thing here. Everypony pile into the tiny room! Also, screw the pegasus with a bolt through his chest. He don't need no medical attention, there's a PC to save!

And also because he's been stone dead for twenty minutes. I figured the bartender probbably put a sheet over him beccause blood-splattered bodies are squeamish inducing to the average pony.

The bartender punched out a griffon in two swings! I hardly think he's an "average pony". He's probably retired Royal Guard or something.

Yah, Cardbo. Sometimes you just need to slack back on the RP and invite Contrived Coincidence in for a cuppa, especially when it's party assembly. Even if you do have the McGuffin and a totally fine reason to wander off.

Well, I was getting to the point of acceptance that you guys would never party up, and then filled my head with ambitions of running a successful MMO- style game, where the players interact but don't necessarily ever work together. However, this will not be the case. Will NOT. Let's see if you can actually get something done together.

First on that list: Healing the injured. Star will need to make either a Perception or Heal check to diagnose (making it up- please) and then a subsequent check to adequately fix Emerald- and if I might be so bold as to offer some advice? Wait until the others get back with whatever supplies they can muster. Because then you'll have a party, and with a party comes Assistance.

Just sayin.

I made a rough diagnosis, then rolled a heal check already. Waiting on a response from you.

I'm still waiting to know whether that room Storm's in has a window or not. One big enough for him to fit through.

I thought I put that. Turns out I didn't. Yes, the room does have a a large viewing window into an adjacent room, but nothing that leads outside, and nothing that opens. If you would like, I can whip up a basic floor map for you- if you've been working here, you would probably know enoguh of the layout that it wouldn't be giving anything away.

That probably extends to everyone. If you ever want a map of an area and I think you would have sufficient knowledge, I'll make one.
