"We should make sure that...Zebulon arrived at his destination. Hopefully he didn't run into any of your..." Kal smirks. "Exploding robot cats."

Zebulon writes down his name and address in his usual doctor's scrawl, hands it to Concierge, and nods his head thankfully before heading out back toward the sheriff's office to rejoin the group.

"Thats doubtful. The cats act like spies, and only seem to explode when cornered. I suspect to prevent analysis of their inner workings."

Zebulon makes a quick check to see if anyone else is injured. Seeing nothing, he begins to head for the Mareiot.

[Okay, so I believe since you left the events are as follows:

Dextor, in an attempt to get to his meeting with Doom, set off some smoke to get everypony to evacuate the Roach Motel. Dextor subsequently found out the meeting was at the Mareiot, so he made sure the party knew he was safe and then retreated to the Mareiot with nopony the wiser. After some time, Zebulon and Cheese figure out that it was dragon smoke and resolve to have a talk with Dextor, after having done some inconclusive experimentation with the mushrooms from the motel. Zebulon and Cheese then find a cat following them, who turns out to be a robot remotely controlled by somepony most likely working for Doom. The cat then self-destructs, although Blackhawk's swift actions kept anypony from being seriously hurt short of a random murder of crows nearby. Meanwhile, Barabus just kinda accompanied them, not doing anything hugely significant.

Kal, meantime, was accompanying Looker in his investigations in the hopes of finding something useful. The duo subsequently follow two thugs into Gold Coin's mines, but are discovered and beaten into unconsciousness.

Blackhawk makes a stirring speech about how the party needs to stick together, so they go off to find Kal, reasoning that Dextor is relatively safe at the Mareiot. They discover Kal's kidnappers and beat them up, freeing Kal and Looker. Turns out Looker has broken ribs, so after a ride in a pickup truck made, rather improbably, by Cheese, they reach the sheriff's building to drop off the thugs. Turns out the sheriff is a paperwork freak, and when Cheese gets fed up with the unnecessary paperwork, the sheriff forms a paper golem to force them to fill out the paperwork or face arrest. Zebulon gets Looker out of danger and brings him to Coincorp, where Looker's wounds are treated. Meanwhile, Kal and Blackhawk manage to talk Cheese into cooperating.

Once the paperwork is filled out, the party files out of the sheriff's building and meet up with Looker. Now they're heading towards the Mareiot.]

As Barabus walked back to the marelot with the others, he was brooding over recent events. "Guys, what with exploding cat bots and all, we could be getting into something bigger here." He was silent for a moment, then added "we should be careful."

Blackhawk was hungry and could not contain his curiosity. Luckily, he was also already sleepy, so by the time he got around to attempting to say "Slumber Party" everypony else had moved on.

So instead he said: "I'll g'head and volunteer for second watch. I'd go for first, but...uh..." and he stumbled a little, blinking his eyes a few times. "Today's been a long day. Sorry."
