A World, A Part

The corners of the cloak lifted up, allowing the skull to peek out from underneath, until it flipped up into the regular shape of The Reaper which started pointing up and down.

"I'm not hiding from anythin' you little whippersnapper!"

Gnarl hoped he had just guessed right.

The Reaper tilted It's head to the side and pulled It's cloak around like Itself like It was folding a pair of arms.

"...hmph," Gnarl, well, hmphed. Admitting when other people had a point was not one of his strong points. "So why're ya here, anyways?"

The Reaper tilts It's skull at Gnarl, then tilts it backwards towards the rest of the group, then back towards Gnarl, spreading It's cloak as it does so.

"Feh, those sprouts..." Gnarl sighed. "Least you know how to be quiet, huh? Not like them."

There was a long silence. Appropriate enough, considering the conversation's current direction.

"Do you think there's any chance of gettin' back home? For any of us?" Gnarl asked. Uncharacteristic for a tree to question so; they tend to be used to standing on their own.

The Reaper tilted it's skull to one side and raised a corner of the robe up to it, thinking, before deciding to nod, if It could exist after being replaced then travel between worlds had to be possible right?

Gnarl stood in place for a few seconds.

Then a few more.

Then, finally, slowly, agonizingly, he lumbered past the Reaper, pausing only briefly (leafly?) next to him to say...

"Thanks for comin' to get me."

And he continued on, back to camp.

The Reaper turned and followed Gnarl, swishing from side to side slightly as it went.

Analysis of dietary requirements, complete.
procuring needed supplies.
Allocating all reserve power to current task.

Still back at the camp, the swarm starts breaking down some of the nearby flora and soil, converting them into something that can be enjoyed (or at least digested) by it's companions.
Soon, a sizeable meal is spread around the center of the camp.

"Ooh, magic!" Jingle clapped her hooves excitedly as she took a bite of some of the meal. "It's cool magic, too! Space magic? Space magic!" She looked over to the tree that had rejoined the group. "Welcome back, Mr. Branch-in-a-knot."

Dynamo chuckles at Jingle's reaction to Vinny's use of his powers... And enjoys the bolt of engery she was given. That's the best enegry she can eat! XD

Briefly, the swarm considers comparing the process to the digestive functions in a biological organism, before deciding against it.

((OOC: the extra magic point will dissapear if you take an extended rest. Go nuts on party tricks if you want. also a +1 bonus to all skill checks, but I don't think we'll be using a lot of those atm))

Fallen Arches sniffs at the food, then eats some of it, grumbling all the while about how Dynamo is treating him.
