Renji grins. "Another Changeling, huh? Well baby, as long as you're really a female, you can feed on me anytime. I got plenty enough lovin' ta go 'round - and actually," Renji runs a whisker through his thumb and foreclaw, "being a shape-shifter? That makes me all the more interested. You can change into anypony you see, am I right baby? In that case, you wouldn't have happened to set eyes on this one fine piece of flank by the name of Black Bea -"

"Hiiiiiii Chitin!" Water Wings cuts in, "That's like, sooooo cool, ya know? Now I totally can say I know, like, not one, but two Changelings!"

Meanwhile, Chief Noble Heart gives a loud HRUMPH, snorting steam out his nostrils and frowning, but saying nothing.

Further back, you can hear Gizmo give a high-pitched cackle, "Can't fool my systems! They're the best! The best in aaaaaaaaaaaaaall Equestria! Kneel before my greatness, foals! KNEEL!"

Beside him, the Donkey in camo gives a low grunt and the Diamond Dog shrugs, "At least she not pony..."

The unicorn in black with the katanas steps up beside the Buffalo to get a closer look at Chitin, while the Zebra continues to stay back, only uttering an eloquent, "Oh my!" with another nervous tick.

As you all continue to take this in, a dark shape drops from the ceiling and lands behind you with a low thud. Turning around, you see a shadowy figure rear up from the golden floor, spread it's black wings wide, and in a gruff, harsh voice, roar, "WHERE'S HARVEY DENT?!"

((I promise that there's a reason for this. It's not completely random))

Whisper turns around and asks, "Are you tonight's entertainment?" Not entirely sure why the thought popped into her head, still trying to figure out who the other changeling in the room was. (She was leaning towards it being the Major, the Zebra, or that painting on the wall.)

Gleeda having seen the Bat-Shadow earlier again puts herself in between the Changeling and the weird questioning pony-ish-thing... "I don't know who or what you are, but I'm quite sure this Changeling knows not of any 'Harvey Dent' that you're asking of... And if you want to make trouble with her, I don't care if you are a friend of my future employer, I will not allow you to harm Chitin." Then she turns to "Dawn Trek". "And this has nothing to do with the fact you've got my bow, by the way... From what I know of you, you've not done anything to warrant this type of treatment. I don't care if you're a changeling or not. I trust you..."

Chitin blinked surprised looking around. Of all the times Chitin had ever been revealed as a changeling, none of them had ever gone anything like this. "It's ok Buck. That was more or less the point of the disguise after all..." Chitin took a look around at everyone in the room. "You mean... none of you mind I'm a changeling?" She asked, looking pretty obviously surprised. Nodding slightly at Renji's question as she looked at everyone, trying to understand and address everything being said. "That's for the best Whisper. I am really female...and, uh... any living thing I see that's close to my size yes... You know two changelings?"

Chitin blinked a little turning her attention at whoever landed. Not overly surprised having noticed something up there, if not quite sure what it was. "Yelling... that's more like what I was expecting." She blinked looking at Gleeda silently for a moment as she spoke before turning her attention back to the bat pony. "Who are you supposed to be?"

The bat-thing grimaces and stares Gleeda down - or at least, you think it does - but you realize it's eyes are rolling all about in their sockets.

The bat-thing takes a step back, and you have a moment to take it in fully - a pony with leathery bat-wings, wearing a black cape and cowl. As you watch, this bat-pony draws it's cape up with in it's wings and says, "I am the darkness, I am the night, for I. Am. -Batmane."

There's a collective sigh from the herd of board members in the room.

The Diamond Dog shakes his hairy head, "Not again."

"Hmm..." The Major growls. "Who invited him to the party?"

Gizmo shrugs, "I didn't even know he was here."

"Ding Bat," Water Wings rolls her eyes, turning to 'Batmane,' "Not cool. You're like so totally scaring everypony, ya know?"

"I am not Ding Bat." Except for his cross-eyed stare, the batpony looks deathly serious, "I. Am. Batmane - or Dark Knight. Or Bruce... Wait, not Bruce. That's my secret identity - it's supposed to be secret..." And in a normal voice he yells out, "FORGET I JUST SAID THAT!"

Then Batmane-Dark Knight-Bruce-Ding Bat-whatever slams his hoof on a conveniently placed table, "Enough of this!" his gruff voice back, "WHERE'S HARVEY DENT?!"

"What?" The zebra raises an eyebrow, then gives a nervous twitch of one ear. "How could you have possibly lost him again?" -'Again' is pronounced "A-gain."

The Batpony sweeps back his cape and begins pacing the floor, muttering to himself. "We got him, Harvey. We got the Joker... The clown'll keep 'til morning... Commissioner Gordon... This time, I saved him... Has he said anything? Harvey Dent never made it home last night..."

Then he spins on his hoof, "WHERE IS HE?! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?!"

-He's yelling at a wall painting.

Buck leans in towards the three of you and mutters out the corner of his mouth, "That's Ding Bat. Big Mike's head of operations in Batmare Rouge."

Meanwhile, Ding Bat is opening desks, looking under tables, tossing back chairs, calling out, "Harvey? Harvey? You there Harvey?"

Watching him, Buck shakes his head. "Guy fell into a cavern when he was little..."

There's a thud as Ding Bat knocks over a potted plant. He grabs it, flips it over, dumps a shrub and a mound of dirt onto the floor - then sticks his head inside. "Harvey, you in here?"

"Banged his head on a stalagtite..."

"Nope. Not here..."

"...Or was it a stalagmite?"

There's a crash as Ding Bat hurls the pot across the room and it shatters against the wall.

"Either way... He - uh -" Buck taps his skull, "hasn't been quite all there ever since."

As Buck says this, Ding Bat's staring down into a corner pocket of the pool table, "Harvey, ya in there?"

Ancient Relic hauls back, then lets out a sneeze that screeches through the auditorium speakers. Beside her Ozzy jumps up with a start and lets out a wail, latching onto Relic's face. The Earth Pony's eyes open wide and she lets out a yell.

-Then she staggers back from the podium clutching her heart and breathing heavily.

"Gah! Flibbitygibbit! What in tha name of Princess Celestia is goin' on here?"

Then she realizes Ozzy's latched onto her face. "Oh, hello there little guy!" She reaches up and pulls him off, looking down at him sternly through her green eyeglasses, "What've you been up to you naughty little guard cat? You been shirkin' yer duties again?"

Chitin was silent listening to Buck as he explained, watching 'Batmane' the whole time. "... wou... would anyone be upset if I tried to trick him into going somewhere else?" She whispered to the group as she watched him overturn a potted plant. A look on her face that pretty obviously said she had no idea how to react to this.

"Uuuh... right. The other board members..." Buck cleared his throat and motioned to the Buffalo, Sea Pony, Baby Dragon, and Unicorn - ignoring as Ding Bat continued breaking things in the background while yelling about Harvey Dent. "Well, you've already been introduced to Chief Noble Heart, Water Wings, and Renji." The Chief nodded, still frowning, staring sternly at Chitin - while Water Wings did another bow that almost tipped over her walker again. Renji just slipped down his shades and winked. "The Chief and the Brave Heart Tribe are in charge of a number of Big Mike's casinos out to the west of Equestria, near Appalousa and some of the other frontier towns... W2's in charge of cargo coming in and out of the New Orreigns docks. She also leads diving expeditions whenever Big Mike deems it necessary... Renji..." Buck shrugs, "Well, he's Renji."

"Got that right Buck-baby," Renji replies, his girls giggling on cue. "Renjin Long Fong Xe-Tong to be precise. I'm Big Mike's unofficial second, his adopted son, his go to guy. Came all the way from Maredarin to be here, and got to say," he glances back at his girls, "I like what I've seen so far..."

"He's also Big Mike's PR guy," Buck mutters to the three of you, "And let me assure ya, he's got a lot of pony relations..."

Buck nods back towards the pool table, "Over there we got Gizmo - who I already mentioned... Wolfgang," -The Diamond Dog looks up and grimaces, "Da." - "who owns all the gemstones in the buildin', and is in charge of mining more whenever Big Mike needs 'em... There's Major Badass," - the Donkey folds his arms across his chest and stares back at you - "who owns a major share of Labyrinth's United and came out of retirement to take charge of security..." and Buck adds more quietly, "You may be workin' under him if you get your jobs..."

Then the big griffon turns towards the Zebra who'd been keeping her distance so far, "And that's Relief Effort over there."

"Delighted." She says with another nervous twitch of her ear. She nods politely towards you without coming a step closer.

"She's in charge of Big Mike's many charity organizations. Mike's Coats for Kids, the Salvation Minotaur, etc." And Buck adds quietly, "She's also a bit uncomfortable at these types of get-togethers."

"And last but not least..." turning back to the group standing before you, Buck's good eye finally comes to rest on the Unicorn with the katanas strapped to his back. "Allow me to introduce ya to Box Cars. He's in charge of some of Big Mike's more covert missions. When he can only send in one pony - an' that pony isn't the Major - it's Box Cars." Buck pauses for a moment, glancing at Chitin. "Ya know how W2 mentioned another Changeling? Well..."

Rain Light nodded after hearing Blade Blocker's decision. "I understand big bro. The apartment I share with the girls is on 54345 Windigo Way, but if I'm not there, then most likely I'll be in class or at the PWDF HQ on Airborne Boulevard. Fair warning though? If ya catch me there - I'll probably be trapped under a stack of weather reports." Rain Light giggles. "They keep me busy, but it's a good busy, you know?"

"By the way," Rain Light leans, "I hope you get a chance to enjoy the city while you're here. There's plenty of things to do..." She glances nonchalantly at Ms. Beauty, then whispers in a sort of sing-song, "and romantic places to go-o..."

D'Orreigns smiled rather sadly upon hearing this, "That's quite unfortunate, my friend."

"Heh heh," Indy was holding her sides after watching the materializing salt shaker and the ensuing antics. "That was priceless!" She wiped a tear from her eye, calling down from up above, "You okay Relic?"

"What's that?" Relic raised a hoof to her ear, "To-day? What about today?"

"Naw. O-kay, as in, you okay?"

"Do I wear a toupee?" Relic looked down at Ozzy, "The nerve a' some ponies! Askin' if I wear a toupee! Can ya believe it Ozzymandias?"

Ozzy just mewed, licking his paw.

Indy shook her head, "I give up..." Then she waved down at Coffee, "Yo! Thanks for the assist! I was already late gettin' started as is!" Indy paused and put a hoof to her chin, "Hey, wait a sec..." She flew down and made a circle around CM, "Don't I know you? You're the new Astronomy teacher, right? Ivory Tower was looking for you."

D'Orreigns sighed, "Well, it sounds like you've got business elsewhere CM. I suppose I'll leave you to it. After all," -and D'Orreigns brightens a bit, "it's not everyday I get to see an Indy Ploy lecture in action."

"We do also need to get back to Town Hall at some point, Mr. Mayor." Ms. Beauty added.

"OF COURSE!" D'Orreigns exclaimed, "-But I want to stay for the lecture first. I'm sure it'll be simply smashing!"

Ms. Beauty sighed, "Very well."

At this point she turns to BB and smiles, "I'm glad you found your sister Blade, but it looks like we may have to say our good byes for the time being..."

Clue Seeker, having observed the situation before him, quickly grabbed a pen from his pocket and scribbled something on a piece of paper. He then deftly folded the paper into a paper airplane and threw it. Afterwards, he sat down again to keep out of sight.

The airplane drifted through the air in a seemingly random pattern before hitting the intended target in the head while the others weren't looking.

Chitin gave a short laugh to herself hearing Buck mention Renji's pony relations. "I don't doubt it considering how the mares were acting at the station. ...Some of the stallions too if I remember correctly." She tried to nod or otherwise acknowledge everyone as Buck introduced them. When he got to Box Cars she stared for a moment, looking him over. "...He's a changeling? So it was your name being chanted back there then?" Chitin was silent for a long moment trying to ignore it before turning to regard Chief Noble Heart. Shrinking back slightly at first before stamping a hoof lightly and returned Chief Noble Heart's gaze, wondering if things didn't go quite so differently than she'd expected after all. "Have I upset you in some way?"

Gleeda spots a number of grenades and other high-explosives strapped across the Major's chest. She also counts no less than three combat knives and two handgun holsters. He stands upright on his hind legs without any difficulty, and he stares back at her with the eye of a hardened soldier. He has a good poker face and his expression's hard to read.

Relief Effort looked at Whisper's hoof for a long moment, then she reached out gingerly with her own hoof and shook, smiling meekly. "Yes," she nodded, flinching slightly, "It is quite-" she grit her teeth, "-charming to meet you as well-" her ear twitched "-my dear."

When she pulled her hoof back, Whisper watched as Relief Effort took a long, hard look at the hoof that had shaken Whisper's hand, then the Zebra reached into her saddlebags and pulled out a bottle of hoof sanitizer. She squeezed out a generous amount onto her hoofs, rubbed them together, and then looked up at Whisper and blushed. "Sorry. Where are my manners. Would you like some dear?" Others may forget, others may forgive, but that invasion occurred less than one year ago, and my tribe has not yet forgotten the memory of that day."

Chief Noble Heart kicks up dust with his back hooves, then butts heads with Chitin, baring down on her with the weight of his thick brow. "Where were you during the Invasion, young Chitin? Hm?! Were you with - that - that - monster Chrysalis? Do you still work for her yet?"
