So we are going to be playing in the new system then?

You can just say no. From what I've seen most people don't want to use it just yet anyway.

I don't know. From what I've read so far I like it. Give me a day or two to fully look it over and in the meantime I think you all should take a look too just in case I deside to use it.

Then again... The more I look into the system... The more I'm not a fan of it and what it does. There is neat bits. But it really is meh overall.

We've looked over it. It isn't conducive to Pony or PbP games, so most people are avoiding playing it until its more established.

I need to look at it with my comp before making a final decision. From what I've seen so far it lookes like the new system allowed for smoother play and easier GMing. Again I will really look it over before deciding.

That is likely true... But you will lose out on EVERYTHING pony...

So after carful consideration I have decided to use the new system. Just take your characters and apply the new character creation methods to it and you should be fine. This new system will not cause me to have to change any aspects of my original campaign ideas so don't worry about that. Remember to find me on Skype, its easier to talk there. PM me your characters or post a link in this thread.

Fantastic. There goes most of my character purpose and capability. Hopefully I have time to redo my sheet- it might take until the weekend.

On the bright side, it makes a little more sense in the new system, as our characters won't be as powerful as they would be at level one in Pony Tales.

Downside is I have no idea where to begin re-creating my character...

It's still pony tails, just upgraded.

It's actually definably not Pony Tales. It's Wanderlust, and it's an entirely new system. It's also not designed for pony campaigns, nor is it designed for PbP games. But if you want to do it, I need some experience before I consider running a game of it.

While I do dislike the new system overall... There are good points to the new system that I do kinda like: Wanderlust's Skills (both the active and the defencive) & the Feature thing for combat.... Also wont deny the fact there is possible overlap in combat and non-combat isn't the worst thing ever... But overall I'm seeing more the new system's downsides do not equal out it's upsides... Maybe we could basically do Pony Tales... But mix in Wanderlust's Skills and give us the features? Just an idea... Might not be the smartest of ideas. But an idea nonetheless.

I think for simplicity's sake I'm just going to use the pony tails system only.

Hey Cav... If you still are wanting to build a character. I'd suggest building a flyer character... (we don't need one just a suggestion to give you ideas on what to build) We've not got one of those. Equally we're using a "Spliced" system thing a little mixing of both Pony Tales and Wanderlust... In some crazy ways in my opinion. But hey it's Loud's campaign. (spiced system linked on first post)
