Think of the spliced system as the way you clean your room. Everything looks just as messy if not worse untill the very last step, then everything falls into place and it looks great.

Either way... Flight in this Spliced System is really easy... 3 points = Full Flight Power. (would've taken it myself if I wasn't trying to build a more "real world-ish" ninja character outside of what the element of magic does) Also Cavlery, if you could get a skype... That'd be nice... You can equally not get one if you really don't wanna, but if you do, we'll be able to add you to the chatroom where we do things.

Story Update Time!
- Story so far:
- Celestia and Luna entered the throne room. “Alright Discord, you said you were ready to begin. That you had assembled a team.” Celestia scanned the room. “So where are they?”
Discord chuckled. “Oh good you made it. Now I know it’s not my style but the situation demands that I get right to business.” He snapped his fingers and a pile of books appeared behind him. “First I will explain the situation as of now. When Luna and I went to the Silent realm it was only starting to break down. Now I’m afraid that matters there have degraded far past the point where it is safe to travel to it on the subconscious plane.”
Luna raised a hoof to interject but Discord held up his paw. “Wait I’m not done yet. Not only are the nightmares you Twilight and her friends encountered running amuck, nightmares form the past and others are also starting to appear.”
Celestia raised an eyebrow. “Others, what do you mean others?”
Discord sighed, “Other dimensions, parallel worlds. I’m sure you know how that works.”
Celestia and Luna both nodded once.
“Good, now the bottom line is that realm is both regressing and progressing in its own timeline and reality. This is causing it to fracture. Those fractures, if gone unchecked threaten all of time and space. Kind of like when a TARDIS explodes.”
“A what?”
“Nothing, never mind.”
“So how do we fix it?”
“That is the next part of my explanation. As I said before, I have assembled four individuals. It is their job to go to the Silent realm and fix it from there. I have a contact on the inside that played a pivotal role in saving the realm the last time this happened.”
“This has happened before?!”
“Yes, back when the realm was somewhat young. There wasn’t much there to cause a threat to the rest of creation at the time. But the multiverse was aware of what was going on, whether the events were directly known or it was channeled into some sort of entertainment. I like to call that time a Silent Hill Revelation.”
“What are those books for?”
“I’m glad you asked. These books contain a record of what happen to you, Twilight, and her friends in regards to the mind delve spell. They also contain events that transpired in a few alternate worlds. Now I have sent copies of these books to each of the four individuals with the strict rule that nothing from those books be shared with anyone outside of each other, including you two.”
“How do you know they will adhere to that demand?”
“They Pinkie promised.”
“Oh” “Oh”
“Once this discussion is over I will send a transcription of it to them as well, in order to keep them fully up to date. Now, on to the preparations. In order for the four of them to travel to the Silent realm physically, I’m going to have to tear open one of the fractures that has appeared in our world. Unfortunately that does not mean it will be a one way travel hole. The second they enter that world the monsters will enter ours.”
“And how do you suggest we combat them? I’ve seen what atrocities lay in that place and I don’t know if it can be fought off so easily.”
“As it so happens I also have a battle plan for our side as well. First things first, you need to send the EUP Guard to every major city in Equestria, especially Ponyville. Next, we need to ask the help of Queen Gachile and her hive.”
“Changelings, why would we ask the help of such scum?!”
“Calm yourself sister. Queen Gachile is a friend, a very old friend. All right Discord, you seem to have everything under control. But tell me this, how do you know so much about the Silent realm without Luna taking you there?”
Discord snapped his fingers and a book appeared in his hand. “With my book of dimensions. It lets me see glimpses of other worlds. How do you think I was aware of the problem in the first place?”
“I-I thought you could just sense it.”
“My dear Celestia, that would be too easy. You should know me better than that.”
“All right then, I will deploy the guard and send word to the Queen.”
“My night guard will also assist in these endeavors.”
“Now where is this crack you were speaking of?”
“It’s in a cave at the bottom of Galloping Gorge. The four I’ve recruited will meet us there.”
“Then we should waist no more time. The peace and safety of Equestria must be protected!”
“I will see you at the Gorge.”
Discord snapped his fingers and disappeared.

Hmm. Might be a little slow with my sheet(s); haven't had a chance to look over the Wanderlust rules yet, let alone a combo system of them.

Bleeding Heart is finished, I think. Changed up her Healer/Warlord with a Nuke on the side, to a Monster Healer/Nuke, with some Warlord on the side. This build's kind of insane.
Also took Empathetic and Longrunner in place of worthless weathercrafting.

Xel: I will have to say that I'm not really wanting to read that "lastest story update" from how it basically means that Discord is forcing us into being a group... That's a dumb idea.
We should at least RP out us signing up to this task... THEY WANTED TO HAVE THIS BE AN ROYAL ADD THYPE OF DEAL, BUT NOPE... Now we're just dragged into this "because discord random." Which is only going to annoy me greatly if we really want to go with that.
Loud: No I just skipped all the official sign up stuff. Your characters volunteered knowing they were going to work with a group. Go back and read the poster discord made
Xel: We're still just automatically skiping the RPing of this detail... Same level of annoyance from me this makes. I don't get why you wanna skip that part so quickly. WE basically are in "oh hey we're now a group" thing at the start of the game... That is a meh way to start a game... But I guess I've just grown to have that opinion when you can instead get to RPing a little earlier to help build one's character voice...

Sorry; I can't get Skype, for a couple of reasons which don't need airing in public (I'm only slightly ashamed of the reasoning, but it's complicated, and not appropriate for discussion here).
As far as character creation... I have a (slightly crazy) idea in mind for a character. I'm figuring out their personality and kinks while I read the new rules and such. But I should have the sheet up in a few days.
In my future!defence... this is a campaign with a poser goth and a Minotaur ninja. I don't think my mad scientist idea is that much beyond those.

Well we need an out of combat practical pony. And I'm ok with companions you can take out and put away at will. As for combat just take whatever you want I really don't have anything specific in mind.

We have two healers already, so we don't need any of that. We also have warlord about covered, and I'm nuke. I don't know what ninjataur is, but we could stand for some turn by turn DPS combos, or something that weakens the enemy.

Combat wise.. Go all out, you can either try to build a save ends built... Which WILL be powerful in this game thanks to the d6 thing... Or you can be a pure DPS. Just at most have only one minor heal move... If any.... So far we got a Nuke/Healer a with hint a Warlord, Healer/Summoner/Warlord with a hint of support, and a DPS that uses the neat combo-move talents. So keep that in mind when looking over the spliced system's combat talents.
Will note that this move could be useful for any build you make up... Even though we already got somebody with it, MULTIPLE USERS WITH THIS MOVE ONLY IS A GOOD THING! (+1 standards for me is WONDERFULLY powerful and with a 4 player party... This is really powerful.)

Up to 3 different target creatures may take an additional standard action on their next turn
Will note that this move could be useful for any build you make up... Even though we already got somebody with it, MULTIPLE USERS WITH THIS MOVE ONLY IS A GOOD THING! (+1 standards for me is WONDERFULLY powerful and with a 4 player party... This is really powerful.)

I have as well. No problem with it, but the cameo loses impact if no one gets the reference.
