As you kick the smoke and miss, the griffon takes shape to your left, striking out with a ghostly talon. It doesn't cut you, but burns and stings, like salt in a wound.

Dodger takes 6+2= 8 damage.

Dodger grimaces as the talon burns him. He isn't fast enough to stop the griffon's strike, but he does retaliate with a swift kick. Then another. He tries to mask his grimace as a smirk.

"Is that all?" asked Dodger.

Dodgers smirk is short lived as he watches his own hoof, like a mirror image, appear out of the snow surrounding the Griffon, and his him in the chest like a freight train. At the same time, visions flash through his head. They are incomprehensible, but somehow familiar. Smoke, fire, needles and a burning sensation in your veins, a cave... The visions only serve to demoralize Dodger, mentally and physically.

Infectious Echoes- Standard Attack
Target creature loses 2d10 hp, and is dad and weakened (Save ends both).
Dodger loses 11 hp and is dazed, weakened.

Meanwhile...

Gearick catches movement again, but this time he is able to track it. Noticing that it moves about in a pattern, and always at the edge of his vision, he is able to concentrate and set it clearly- or at least, more clearly. It is a small butterfly-like creature of vibrant orange and yellow. He can't be sure if its real or not.

No. In fact he can be sure that he will never be sure in this place. How can he? He realizes that what is real here- himself, the others- makes no difference when compared to what is fake, or abstract. Perception, time, space and setting, all the factors that determine reality are inconsequential. The realization of the truth is about to dawn on him.

Unfortunately for Gearick, though, at that moment Bells finally finishes her teleportation spell, and casts it.
He is distracted, as is everyone in the party, by a bright flash, and then...

Bells, Storm, Dodger, Gearick, Koli and Snuggles in the tower, Kanens body laying just as it was before... except now there are two of him. One is cold and shaken, the other bleeding from a wound.

Dodger, woozy from the visions attacking his heart, mind, and soul (if he believed in such a concept), wobbles back and forth for a few seconds before collapsing to the ground. He figured that with the griffon gone he would be safe enough doing that. It would give him time to figure out what the visions meant, besides.

Gearick shook his head in frustration as he took stock of the situation. Not only was his so close to figuring out the mysteries of the void before he was distracted and teleported out, but now that they had returned to reality... they now had two deer with them instead of one. Causing the brown unicorn to state flatly. "Does this mean we've successfully saved Kanen or not?"

Bells:
You aren't exactly choking on blood, but your tongue is still bleeding, and in a fair amount of pain. Talking would potentially make it worse, and you'd be hard to understand anyway.

Storm:
Kanen is bleeding from a deep stab wound to the upper chest. The skin around it is slightly singed, and muscle spasms wrack his body, but are the most severe near the wound. It appears in addition to being stabbed he has also been electrocuted. He is also going into shock.

Dodger:
Trying to look at visions in your own head is hardly plausible, and potentially a good measure for insanity. You don't get much- the only thing that clicks is that the fire is in the shape of a cyclone, burning away clouds.

Suddenly, Snuggles starts hissing again, taking cover beneath Bells.

Bells gently puts a hoof on Snuggles. What's wrong? She starts looking around, to see if she could determine what had Snuggles so freaked out.

"Oh this isn't good. Kanen's in a bad way." Even as he's saying this, Storm's working to to stop blood loss, and stabilize Kanen.

"If anypony can help out, I'd appreciate the assistance. Even your warmest wishes would help.

Bells:
You can't see anything but the tower room... but then you notice it. The others are distracted but you see that there's no sunlight streaming through the windows. You can smell smoke, and the hairs on your neck stand on end from the static charge in the air. You see what's about to happen almost in slow motion, as if you know it's coming before it does. Just enough time to warn the others, or try to get to safety.

Unable to actually speak, Bells leaps to action with a spell she knows with rote-memory, one she was taught as a second nature since she was barely old enough to use magic, one that she knew would be able to protect everypony in the room. Good thing she noticed this was coming, or her spell might not be as effective at protecting all of them, and may even hurt them because of the way it worked. (Shield that protects the party and reflects the attack.) Maybe she should share this spell with Luna.

There is a split second when everything seems to stop... and then the sky falls.

At least that's what it feels like to Bells. Her shield goes up just as the walls and ceiling collapse in on themselves. The room is imploding from some unknown force, but the shield keeps everyone safe, at least from the physical damage. Bells created this little slice of dreamscape, and having it torn apart does not bode will for her psyche. The mental trauma is so overwhelming that she collapses, barely able to stay awake. However her shield, by grace of prefect timing, sorcery, or some kind of miracle, survives the assault on its creators focus, and stands firm. In fact, that focus is the only thing that saves Bells from a total blackout.

As the smoke clears and the rubble fades into gray, the group now sees the cause if the destruction. A mighty red Alicorn stands tall, enraged, horn crackling with fury fueled magic. At the same time, Dodger senses a familiar presence, and a wisp of smoke takes shape into the Griffon from before. The two entities seem oblivious of each other as they close in on the shield surrounding their prey.

In all the commotion, Storm is barely able to cover the wound and reposition Kamen to treat for shock. Meanwhile, Gearick once again catches sight of something just at the corner of his vision...

Scales:
You manage to pull the deerup, but he's too cumbersome to fly with. You do manage top get him in a comfortable position over your back, without you much risk of him being injured further.

Kanen is stabilized but needs one good heal check to get up. Bells will recover after a turn, but when she does the shield goes down. Dodger, Storm and Gearick can take actions (make sure to roll reality checks if necessary), or roll initiative and take a few shots at the enemies while the shield is still protecting them. Once it comes down, the fight is on- unless someone were to figure something out, that is.

Dodger, slowly going a little crazy from the visions in his head, at least recognizes the griffon, groggily gets to his feet, and spits on the ground - a clear challenge.

Scales plans on getting the deer to help, but first looks outside of the window to see what the situation outside is...

The unicorn muttered to himself, trying to repeat the same trick as before, not only trying to identify if the thing in the corner of his eye is the same butterfully, but try to recall what he was thinking off before the teleportation, trying to finish the train of thoughts that he was in...

Scales:
Outside it is much the same as when you arrived at the house. A thin wisp of smoke trails upward from near the clinic, and homemade blockades are spotted here and there. Some clouds have formed in the sky, but they do nothing to block the light from the late afternoon sun, which has disappeared to the western sky behind you. Down on the ground below the window, you can see one pony, standing with its face to the wall, not moving. A barely audible giggle reaches up to you.

Gearick:
You remember how it darted around from before, look away from it, and blink. When your eyes open, you are looking dead at it. Is it real? You start to wonder as it hypnotizes you, yellow Crescent moon shaped wings flapping in slow motion.

Then you remember what you realized before, that it didn't matter, that it could be real or it could be fake- it, and anything and everything else....

Storm, Dodger:
As you two ready yourselves to fight, the Griffon again dissolves into a smoky mist. From the safety of Bells' shield, though, you can easily see where it moves around within the shroud. Dodgers' act seems to anger it, and it rams the shield, which holds firmly.

Meanwhile, Storm watches the Alicorn charge up a spell, but doesn't cast it. Instead, it flies around the shield, selects a spot, and also tries to break through it-wroth similar results.

Init order:
Griffon Disconsciousness
Dodger

Storm

Storm's turn. After his turn, Bells recovers and the shield drops. When that happens, a Gearick and Bells roll Init.

Gearick, look for a pm with revelations unveiled.

Storm finishes patching up Kanen, who is still a bit dazed from the ordeal. Whether he wants to get up and fight or not, though, is no longer up to him. At the same time, Bells fully recovers, and the shock of snapping back to reality (so to speak), causes her shield to finally falter. The two monsters on the outside see their opportunity, and close in to attack.

Bells is back on her feet, and needs to roll initiative with a -3 penalty.
Kanen is combat capable but starts combat at 18 hp and dazed, save ends. Roll init, -5 penalty.
Gearick will need to roll as well, no penalty, regardless of his plans to undo Creation, or whatever.

Btw, Koli is not unconscious, but is not moving in response to anything going on. I don't remember the rules about Snuggles engaging in combat.
