<<That really is pretty cool. I've got to get me one of those later. I really don't have any ideas offhand. I remember one of the counselors saying something about elective classes being posted on this board though. I wonder if there are any fun ones going on right now.>> *Grey begins to read the various posts as she finishes speaking*

Cloud glances at the flutterpony and dragon, and raises a hoof in decline to the Amber Herbs, but her gaze lingers on the map. "That....looks awful."

Re: Psychoneights
On the Bulletin Board is an...eclectic mix (put kindly) of fliers. The least showy of them are for legitimate classes. Today's group seems to be Meditation in the sensory dep chambers (which any older student would tell you is just Magiminds excuse to take some of the kids and lock them up for an hour of peace and quiet), Mental self checks with Featherbow (Covered in flower stickers and also cancelled), Levitation with Loften at his pagoda and something with Pyro (up to Crys). There's also an offer for an "internship" with Jewel, implying that if you do her job as janitor, she'll let you see her sciency stuff.
The more interesting fliers are those hung up by the other campers. One is a request by a younger camper for reading lessons (written in crayon and with numerous misspellings), another requests help repairing some beds that were accidentally set on fire before Jewel finds out and still a third is a statement of contempt for the camp and intention to run away by someone named "Stinkbug". The rest are mostly poorly written vendettas against the counselors, bad jokes with worse punchlines, lewd drawings, threats and "for a good time call" notes.

Buck, at least it wasn't a crit fail...
Re: Psychoneights
Dart is able to see what happened, but there's a metric butt-ton of mental static.

Mental self checks actually sounds cool. Too bad it's been cancelled.

Magimind gives you a long, withering look. "As noble as your intentions are, Pyro, politicians, ministers and people with facial hair like that don't change. We would do better just to call the feds and press charges."
"Don't interrupt," he said to Magimind. I'm quite capable of breaking him myself if need be. Then we can call the Guard. This is important to me.
"Anyways. 'Natural', huh? And what difference does that make? We're not discussing 'natural'. We're discussing 'Right and Wrong'. I don't burn down buildings because it's harmful, not because it's 'unnatural'. Don't change the subject; you have yet to explain what exactly is wrong with psychic powers as opposed to 'natural' magic."

Magimind gives Pyro a sharp glare, but says nothing.
Pornstache, however, continues to loudly object.
"Magic is for Unicorns! It's not real without the horn!
Psychic powers are a curse! Heal the kids, don't make them worse!"
And other stupid catchphrases with end rhymes shouted at the top of his lungs.

Re: Psychoneights
Okay, now you're just being foalish, Pyro thought to himself. Okay Magimind, I admit it. You win, we lose. Go ahead and make the call. I'll stick him in sens-dep chambers till they get here.
With that, Pyro glared at the unicorn, shoving his hoof into the pony's mouth a second time. "Debate is now over. I'm going to take you somewhere quiet; in the meantime, back to shutting up, okay?"
Without waiting for an answer, the Sergeant hoisted the still-trussed unicorn onto his back, ready to toss him off and beat his skull in if need be to keep him quiet...

Don't feel like I need to roll to carry him. However, I will make a pre-emptive Athletics check to keep him quiet more forcefully, via knock-out.

Cloud glances at Pyro and the bound unicorn, and remarks to Grey and Dart, "Well, looks like the show's over here anyway."
She then trots after the dragonling.

Re: Psychoneights
Pornstache keeps making noises, but you're able to carry him very easily towards the sensory dep chambers.
In the meantime, the three kids get to the mess hall and see Jewel's shed nearby. Jewel seems to be doing some minor repairs on it, fixing a few slipped shingles and such. The shed is fairly run down and only still standing by the skin of its teeth.

Sergeant Pyro elected to ignore the squirming, screaming pony on his pack, giving a glare to anyone who stopped to gawk. The message was clear: "Stay back, or be burned."
Upon reaching the sense-dep chambers, Pyro opened the door. The place had been refitted recently, a process he had regrettably not been part of. It occurred to him that this would be his first real look at the results... Would it still serve his purpose?

Jewel grins down at you, but her smile falters a bit when she sees that you've brought friends. "ah...normally I'd charge extra for bingin' in friends but...you know what? You're a noob and you're my kin. I'll let you slide on this one."
She clambers down from the roof and musses Dart's hat again before opening the shed door. Inside, it just looks like a musty, moldy, very small old shed. "C'mon in, twerps, there's plenty to explore."

The sensory deprivation chambers are small, silvery metal domes, about five feet in radius, all up on a slightly elevated wooden platform. There are quite a few, some a bit smaller, some larger and one in the center large enough to house most of the camp. You open up one of the smaller ones and see that the inside is covered in soft, plushy asylum type decor with white padded walls and crayons that someone stole from Jewel. It's completely insulated from sound and light when the door is shut.
Sensory deprivation is a proven way to calm down someone being psychically overstimulated or to practice internal mind crawling, but even so, each chamber has a panic button that tells whoever's outside to open the chamber again. It's not good practice to leave anyone in there for too long, as it can be damaging. Which is why some of the students who were bullies used to throw others in for extended periods. One of the new features seems to be a hoofprint analysis on the locks, meaning that the doors can only be locked from the outside by counselors. Probably set up by Jewel and Magimind.

Re: Psychoneights
Aaaw, buck. I liked the ones with saline better. I guess drowning was getting to be too big of an issue, Pyro thought. No matter. It'll do for a temporary prison, he mused, levitating the crayons out and dumping Pornstache unceremoniously in.
"We'll be keeping you in here for now. It'll be kind of dark and scary at first, but don't worry. Sensory Deprivation is a proven relaxation method, it's perfectly safe," he said in a mockery of Featherbow's "soothing" voice, shutting the lid before the poor unicorn could get another word out. Not wishing it to be disturbed, he put his hoof on the reader, trusting someone had already put his magical signature in. Somehow.
Wanting a little more security from ignorant campers, he looked around, found a piece of paper, and stuck it to the outside of the chamber and scrawled out "Occupied; Do Not Open" with the red crayon...

Re: Psychoneights
Satisfied that the prosecutor was sufficiently violated (Or was it the other way around?) Pyro stepped back outside. He would need a better place to put him within about ten minutes or so; he wanted the pony to still be sane when the guard picked him up. He wracked his mind trying to recall the places that were sufficiently unescapable...

Re: Psychoneights
The foals go into the shed and Jewel shuts the door. For a moment, the only light coming in is through the holes in the shed, but there's a loud CHUNK, like the sound of a lever being yanked down, and the floor starts falling beneath you, dropping like an elevator. Suddenly you're surrounded by glass walls surrounded by dirt full of bio luminescent worms. You go down further until you've dropped about a story into the ground until it opens up into a fairly large, cavey atrium full of weird sciency stuff.
Pyro knows all too well that there are tons of places to keep ponies in the camp. After all, a psychic child or teenager getting rowdy would be all sorts of trouble. Jewel has her "Secret lab" for one. And then there's Loften's Pagoda which has a sub-marine glass trap underneath it. Theoretically for meditating on marine life, actually very useful for time-outs. If you're feeling especially cruel, you could hand him off to whatever the lunchpony's calling herself right now. The students say that she uses ponies to cook her sunday special. In actuality, she just locks them in the walk-in freezer for a few hours. Or you could just chuck the bastard in one of the shower stalls and let the athletes hoof eat him alive.

Dart looks around moving from one table to another, each filled with something more miraculous then the next, but what he's really drawn to is a display filled with neat inventions, each with a price tag associated with them.
